Your micro wave oven has 6 different power levels :
- High: 100% of the power is used, can be used for fast cooking.
- M. High: 85% of the power is uded
- Med: 66% of power use, for slow cooking
- M. low: 40% of te power is used.
- Defrost: 37% of the power is used, for defrosting food.
- Low: 17% of the power is used, can be used for keeping warm.
COOKING PROCEDURE
Put the plug in the power socket.
Place the food on the glass turntable and close the door.
Choose the desired power level with the function control knob.
Adjust the timer. When you want to use the timer for less than 2 minutes, you first need to turn the timer passed 3 minutes and then turn it back to the desired time.
The oven will turn on. The operation can be stopped at any time by opening the door. When closing the door, the oven will start operating again.
A signal will be heard when the selected time has passed.
Attention: when you remove the food out of the oven before the signal, make sure to turn the timer to "0". This is to prevent the oven from starting to operate again without food in it. We recommend to use oven gloves when removing cooked food from the oven.
Remarks when defrosting food:
The defrost function is one of the possibilities of your oven. This is safer than defrosting at room temperature, because you will prevent the development of harmful bacteria.
- Turn the function control knob to the "defrost" function.
- Select the time, depending on the frozen food. Defrosting usually takes up more time than normal cooking. Turn over the food at least once during defrosting, to check the doneness. When you can cut the frozen food with a knife, it is usually ready.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Below steps are recommended after each use.
Never use any scoring pads, or aggressive cleaners to clean the oven.
Remove the plug from the socket and let the oven cool down completely.
Remove the turning ring and turntable and clean them in warm soapy water.
Use a soft moist cloth to clean the door, the inside, the outside and the control panel.
When oil or soap has been spilled in the microwave oven, this must be cleaned up, otherwise smoke can occur during the next use.
When the inside of the microwave oven has a bad smell you can put a cup of water with a bit of lemon in it in the oven and let this boil inside the microwave for about 5-7 minutes. This will most likely remove the bad smell.
Dry all parts thoroughly and place them back into the oven.
REPAIR
All repairs can only be done by a qualified person. Don't ever try to repair your microwave. You could be exposed to microwaves, which are hazardous for your health.
