GENERAL ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
- The vacuum comes assembled. If the filter is not installed, refer to page 16 for installation instructions.
- Align and insert the selected accessory into the hand vacuum as shown. A 'click will be heard when the motorized brush is locked into place.
NOTE: The two contact pins on the motorized brush must be pushed into the contact socket on the underside of the suction opening.

Installation of Charging Base
- Align and install the two accessory holders onto the charging base. Place the accessories in the accessories holders for convenient storage.

- To charge the vacuum, place the charging base on a level, hard surface, or mount it on the wall depending on your needs.
To mount the charging base on the wall (Optional):
A drill and a Phillips screwdriver are required.

Ensure that there are no power cables or water pipes in the wall at the location where you intend to drill the holes for the charging base. Drilling into a current-carrying electric cable can be potentially fatal!
1) Select a suitable installation location for charging base:
- It must be possible to remove the hand vacuum cleaner easily.
- It cannot be more than 5.9 ft (1.8m) from an electrical outlet.
- There should be no power or water lines in the wall.
2) Drill 2 holes into the wall at a distance of approximately 4.33'' (110mm) from each other. The holes must be suitable for 0.236" (6mm) expansion tubes.
3) Insert the expansion tubes into the holes and then insert the screws so that the screwheads only protrude a few millimeters.
4) Hang the charging base to the wall. Ensure that the screws slide into the slots. The charging base should lie flush against the wall. You can adjust the distance to the wall and compensate for any unevenness in the wall by screwing in or unscrewing the screws.
5) Ensure that the power cable is not trapped and that it lies properly in the cut-out.

Charging
NOTE: Before using the vacuum for the first time, charge vacuum to full capacity. The charging time is approx. 4-4.5 hours.
- Make sure the On/Off switch is pushed back to the "O" OFF position.
-
Plug the charging adapter into a wall outlet.
-
Align the hand vacuum with the charging base and slide it down into the charging base. The protrusion on the charging base should slide into the recess on the bottom of the hand vacuum.

- The power indicator on the vacuum flashes red when charging. When the battery is charged, the indicator lights up green.
Power Indicator Status
Red, Flashing Charging
Green, Solid Fully Charged

NOTE: Do not start the hand vacuum while it is charging.
If the power indicator does not flash red when charging, check to ensure that the hand vacuum is properly seated onto the charging base, and the power adapter is properly plugged into the wall outlet.
- Remove the hand vaccum from the charging base. Remove the power adapter from the outlet.

CAUTION
Use only original charger for charging to avoid damaging the vacuum. Never charge the vacuum in temperatures above 104^ (40^) or below 39.2^ (4^) . It is normal for the charger to become warm when charging.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
Using Your Hand Vacuum
This hand vacuum is for dry vacuuming only.
NOTE: Make sure the hand vacuum is completely assembled and selected accessory is attached.
The suction opening must always be open and cannot be blocked. Blockages lead to overheating and damage to the motor.
Make sure the dust cup is empty before using.
Do not operate vacuum cleaner without the filter in place.
-
Make sure that the vacuum is fully charged before use.
-
Regular Vacuuming: Lift the brushroll cover to expose the motorized brush, ideal for spot cleaning floors and other standard surfaces.
Soft Surface Cleaning: Lower the brushroll cover to safely clean delicate fabrics such as curtains, bed sheets, and tablecloths.

-
To turn the vacuum on, slide the On/Off switch forward to the 'I' or 'II' position.
-
The vacuum has two-speed controls, 'I' and 'II'. Change speed by sliding the On/Off switch between 'I' or 'II' position. The power indicator lights up yellow in speed setting I, and green in II. The LED headlight turns on.
-
To turn off the vacuum, slide the On/Off switch back to the 'O' OFF position. Both the indicator light and LED headlight turn off.

CAUTION
Moving parts! To reduce the risk of personal injury, DO NOT touch the brushroll in the motorized brush when the vacuum is on. Contacting the brushroll while it is rotating can cause other injuries. Always turn off before servicing. Use caution when operating near children.

- Empty the dust cup once the power of the vacuum cleaner has become noticeably weaker. Follow instructions on page 14-16.
- The vacuum will require charging once the power indicator begins flashing green and when you notice the power has become weaker.
- If the power indicator flashes alternately green and red, the battery is almost completely discharged and the vacuum will shut off after approx. 1 minute. This protects the vacuums battery.

MAINTAINING YOUR VACUUM

CAUTION
To reduce the risk of shock, remove hand vacuum from the charging base, and turn off before performing any service or maintenance.
Cleaning and Storage
- Do not use aggressive, chemical or abrasive cleaning agents. These could damage the outer surface of the unit. Use only a soft moist cloth to clean the outside of the unit and the accessories. Do not allow any kind of liquid to enter the vacuum, or motorized brush.
- Dry all parts thoroughly before using the vacuum again or storing it. Before storage, empty the dust cup. Clean and dry the inside and outside of the dust cup. Store the vacuum in a dust-free and dry location.
- The filter is re-usable and should be cleaned regularly. For best performance, it is suggested to clean the filter after every use.
Emptying the Dust Cup and Cleaning the Filter

WARNING
Never use the vacuum without the dust cup and filter in place.

CAUTION
Cleaning the filter should not be done indoors in living areas.
For best performance, empty dust cup after every use or once the power of the vacuum cleaner has become noticeably weaker.
-
Verify that the switch is in the OFF position and the accessory is removed.
-
Press the dust cup release button and remove the dust cup.

-
Remove the reusable washable filter and the filter holder from the dust cup. Clean any loose dust off the filter and filter holder with a soft bristle brush.
-
Empty the dust cup.

- Remove the reusable washable filter from the filter holder by turning it counterclockwise towards the symbol and pulling it out.

- Use a mild soap and water solution to wash the filter and filter holder and rinse with clean water. Allow the filter to air dry for 24 hours before fitting into the filter holder. For optimal performance, a new filter is recommended after 6-8 months.

- Make sure the dust cup, the filter holder and reusable washable filter are clean and dry before using it again. DO NOT immerse the vacuum in water.

- Align and re-insert the filter into the filter holder. The catches on the filter fit into the corresponding recesses on the filter holder. Turn the filter clockwise to secure.

- Refit the filter holder and reusable washable filter into the dust cup.

- Refit the dust cup onto the vacuum. Make sure the dust cup clicks into place.

Cleaning the Motorized Brush
Check the motorized brush regularly for blockages. Any hair, thread or dirt should be removed.
To simplify cleaning, the brushroll in the motorized brush can be removed.
- Verify that the switch is in the OFF position.
- Pull the motorized brush out of the suction opening with force.

- Push the release switch on the brush to unlock the brushroll. Lift the brushroll out of the housing. Clean off debris and anything wrapped around the brushroll.

- Install the brushroll back into the housing. First push the hexagon end onto the drive shaft. Then push the release switch and hold it there. Press down the other end into place and release the switch to lock the brushroll.
