- Do not immerse the device in water or other liquids!
- Before cleaning the device, remove the batteries for safety reasons and remove the bottom cover. Clean the device with a damp cloth or sponge and a mild, non-abrasive cleaning agent. Then dry it thoroughly with a clean, dry cloth.
- Do not use old and new batteries together.
- Ensure that the polarity is correct when inserting the batteries.

Remove the product from the packaging and remove all packaging material. Open the battery compartment on the top of the product and insert 2x 1.5V AA batteries. Ensure that the polarity of the contacts is correct.

5. Operation
Caution! Never place your fingers or other body parts or hair near the clamping jaws during use!
- Place the desired jar on a flat and non-slip surface.
- Place the jar opener on the lid.
- Adjust the ends of the outer clamping jaws to the angle of the jar to be opened.
- Press the switch-on button. The inner arms enclose the lid and the outer arms enclose the jar.
- The appliance opens the jar and the arms automatically move back to their maximum position after the jar has been opened.
- Pressing the button again during the process cancels the process and resets the appliance to its original state.
Note:
- The appliance may start automatically if the arms are moved manually. This is normal.
- The rubber grips on the outer arms are adjustable to fit the glass.
- Hold the appliance by the top during operation to prevent it from jumping up after opening the container.
Additional safety instructions
This machine is suitable for normal screw-top jars with a diameter of 3 cm to 10 cm and is intended for domestic use only.
Do not use this machine to open the following jars:
- plastic lenses
- irregularly shaped jars
- jars with domed lids
- broken jars
6. Troubleshooting

7. Maintenance and care
Do not immerse the device in water or rinse it under running water. Do not use solvents or aggressive cleaning agents.
Remove the battery compartment cover from the device and then remove the batteries. Wipe the device with a slightly damp cloth and, if necessary, with a little mild detergent.

8. Safety instructions and disclaimer
Never attempt to open the appliance to carry out repairs or modifications. Avoid contact with the mains voltage. Do not short-circuit the product. The device is not waterproof, please only use it in dry conditions. Protect it from high humidity, water and snow. Keep the device away from high temperatures.

The crossed-out dustbin symbol means that the battery must not be disposed of with household waste.
