USER MANUAL FAC-310-EU HOMEDICS

• This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.
• NEVER insert pins or other metallic fasteners into the appliance.
• Use this appliance for the intended use as described in this booklet. DO NOT use attachments not recommended by HoMedics.
• Excessive use could lead to the product's excessive heating and shorter life. Should this occur, discontinue use and allow the

unit to cool before operating.

• NEVER drop or insert any object into any opening.
• DO NOT operate where aerosol (spray) products are being used or where oxygen is being administered.
  DO NOT operate under a blanket or pillow. Excessive heating can occur and cause fire, electrocution or injury to persons.
• DO NOT attempt to repair the appliance. There are no user serviceable parts. For service, send to a HoMedics Service Centre. All servicing of this appliance must be performed by authorised HoMedics service personnel only.
• Never block the air openings of the appliance or place it on a soft surface, such as a bed or couch. Keep air openings free of lint, hair etc.
• Do not place or store appliance where it can fall or be pulled into a bath or sink. Do not place in or drop into water or other liquid.
• After use, do not immerse this appliance in water or any other liquid for a long period. The appliance should only come into contact with water during operation or cleaning.

• Do not use the appliance if the silicone sleeve is damaged.

• Do not use the product while charging.

• To protect against electric shock, do not allow the appliance to come into contact with water or any other liquid while charging.
• Do not allow the appliance or USB cable to be exposed to rain or moisture during use or storage.
• Never reach for any appliance that has fallen into water while charging. Switch off the power supply at the mains immediately and unplug. Do not re-use the appliance until it has been inspected and approved by a qualified electrician.
  Always ensure your hands are dry before charging the appliance.
• Do not place the appliance on or near a heated surface.

• DO NOT use on an infant, invalid or on a sleeping or unconscious person. DO NOT use on insensitive skin or on a person with poor blood circulation.

• This appliance should NEVER be used by any individual suffering from any physical ailment that would limit the user's capacity to operate the controls or who has sensory deficiencies in the lower half of their body.
• NEVER use directly on swollen or inflamed areas or skin eruptions.
• Do not use on skin with varicose veins, rashes, spots or moles (with hair growth) without first consulting a GP.
  If you feel any discomfort whilst using this appliance, discontinue use and consult your doctor.
• The appliance is only intended for cleansing and massaging the face. Do not use for any other purpose.
• Make sure not to rub the silicone brushes too hard. Damaged silicone brushes may reduce the effectiveness of the appliance.

PRODUCT FEATURES

USING BLOSSOM

Redefine your skin care with the Blossom Facial Cleanser. Designed with soft silicone nodes and sonic pulsations to massage and exfoliate your skin with a gentle touch that's perfect for everyday cleansing. Blossom gently exfoliates dead skin cells, unclogs pores, and removes dirt and oil. Blossom also enhances your skin's absorption of skincare products such as creams and lotions. The result is skin that appears visibly brighter and healthier. Blossom is waterproof for use in the shower.

Getting started

1. Run the device under a tap, shaking off the water droplets.
2. Remove all make-up, dampen your face and apply your favourite cleanser.
3. To switch on, press and hold the power button for 2 seconds. The battery indicator LEDs will flash once and the device will start at pulsation level 5.
4. Blossom has 8 pulsation levels. You can easily adjust the intensity according to comfort. You can increase and decrease the intensity by pressing the + and - buttons.

NOTE: When using the device for the first time, you may experience a slight redness to the skin, especially if you have not used a similar product before. This is completely normal, the redness will disappear once your skin is accustomed to using the device.

1. Cleanse your cheeks and chin using circular movements.
2. Cleanse your forehead with gentle outward circular strokes.
3. Cleanse your nose by gliding the device up and down one side, then the other.
4. Cleanse the under-eye area with gentle outward strokes. We recommend reducing the pulsation intensity for this area.
5. To switch off, press and hold the power button for 2 seconds.
6. Rinse your skin thoroughly and lightly pat dry with a towel. Apply your regular cream or lotion as usual to complete your routine.

Locking your facial cleansing brush (for travel)

1. Press and hold the +^ and - buttons for 2 seconds to lock the device. The device will pulsate and the battery indicator LEDs will flash once when locked. The buttons on the device will not work while the device is in locked mode.
2. The unlock the device, press and hold the +^ and - buttons for 2 seconds. The device will pulsate and the battery indicator LEDs will flash once to indicate the device is unlocked and ready to use.

Charging your facial cleansing brush

Blossom is rechargeable and gives up to 8 hours cordless use from a single 2 hour charge.

1. Ensure that the device is switched off
2. Plug the charging cable into the charging socket.
3. Plug the USB end of the cable into a USB power adaptor (not included).
4. The battery indicator LEDs will switch on to show the device is being charged.
5. When fully charged the battery indicator LEDs will switch off.
6. When the device needs to be recharged, the battery indicator LEDs flash will continuously for 30 seconds.

NOTE: There is a 15 minute auto shut-off on this appliance for your safety. This feature should not be considered as a substitute for 'OFF'. Always remember to switch the appliance off when not in use.

MAINTENANCE AND STORAGE

Cleaning

Always switch off the device before cleaning.

• Do not immerse in water or any other liquid to clean.
• Rinse the device under running water to remove any cleanser residue. Pat dry with a lint-free cloth or towel.
• Never use detergents or scouring agents and do not use any abrasive or sharp objects to clean as these may damage the silicone brushes.

Storage

Place the appliance in its box or in a safe, dry, cool place. To avoid breakage, do not wrap the charging cable around the appliance. Do not hang the unit by the charging cable.

Battery directive

This symbol indicates that batteries must not be disposed of in the domestic waste as they contain substances which can be damaging to the environment and health. Please dispose of batteries in designated collection points.

This marking indicates that this product should not be disposed with other household wastes throughout the EU. To prevent possible harm to the environment or human health from uncontrolled waste disposal, recycle it responsibly to promote the sustainable reuse of material resources. To return your used device, please use the return and collection systems or contact the retailer where the product was purchased. They can take this product for environmental safe recycling.
