How to use the HoMedics Blossom facial cleansing brush?

Moisten your face and apply your usual cleanser. Press and hold the power button for 2 seconds to start. Use the + and - buttons to adjust the intensity (8 levels). Clean in circular motions on your face. To turn off, press and hold the power button for 2 seconds.

How to charge the device?

Make sure the device is off. Plug the USB cable into the charging port of the device and the other end into a USB power adapter (not included). The LED lights turn on during charging. Once charging is complete (about 2 hours), the lights turn off.

Is the device waterproof?

Yes, the HoMedics Blossom is waterproof and can be used in the shower. However, do not immerse it in water for prolonged periods and do not charge it near water.

How many pulsation levels does it offer?

It offers 8 pulsation levels adjustable using the + and - buttons. You can thus adapt the intensity to your skin type and the area being treated.

How to lock the device for transport?

Press and hold the + and - buttons simultaneously for 2 seconds. The device will vibrate and the LED lights will flash once. To unlock, repeat the same operation.

Why is my skin red after the first use?

Mild redness may occur if you have never used a similar device. This is normal and the redness will disappear once your skin gets used to use. If irritation persists, consult a doctor.

How to clean the device?

Turn off the device. Rinse it under water to remove cleanser residue. Pat it dry with a towel or lint-free cloth. Do not use abrasive detergents or sharp objects that could damage the silicone brushes.

When should I charge the device?

When the battery is low, the LED lights flash continuously for 30 seconds after turning on. It is then time to recharge. Battery life is about 8 hours after a full 2-hour charge.

Does the device shut off automatically?

Yes, for safety reasons, the device automatically turns off after 15 minutes of use. This function does not replace manual shut-off, always make sure to turn off the device after use.

What accessories are included with the brush?

The HoMedics Blossom comes with a USB cable for charging. The USB power adapter is not included. No replacement brush is provided; if the silicone brush is damaged, contact customer service.

• Excessive use could lead to the product's excessive heating and shorter life. Should this occur, discontinue use and allow the

unit to cool before operating.

• DO NOT operate where aerosol (spray) products are being used or where oxygen is being administered.
  DO NOT operate under a blanket or pillow. Excessive heating can occur and cause fire, electrocution or injury to persons.
• DO NOT attempt to repair the appliance. There are no user serviceable parts. For service, send to a HoMedics Service Centre. All servicing of this appliance must be performed by authorised HoMedics service personnel only.

• Do not place or store appliance where it can fall or be pulled into a bath or sink. Do not place in or drop into water or other liquid.

USING BLOSSOM

Redefine your skin care with the Blossom Facial Cleanser. Designed with soft silicone nodes and sonic pulsations to massage and exfoliate your skin with a gentle touch that's perfect for everyday cleansing. Blossom gently exfoliates dead skin cells, unclogs pores, and removes dirt and oil. Blossom also enhances your skin's absorption of skincare products such as creams and lotions. The result is skin that appears visibly brighter and healthier. Blossom is waterproof for use in the shower.

Getting started

1. Run the device under a tap, shaking off the water droplets.
2. Remove all make-up, dampen your face and apply your favourite cleanser.
3. To switch on, press and hold the power button for 2 seconds. The battery indicator LEDs will flash once and the device will start at pulsation level 5.
4. Blossom has 8 pulsation levels. You can easily adjust the intensity according to comfort. You can increase and decrease the intensity by pressing the + and - buttons.

NOTE: When using the device for the first time, you may experience a slight redness to the skin, especially if you have not used a similar product before. This is completely normal, the redness will disappear once your skin is accustomed to using the device.

1. Cleanse your cheeks and chin using circular movements.
2. Cleanse your forehead with gentle outward circular strokes.
3. Cleanse your nose by gliding the device up and down one side, then the other.
4. Cleanse the under-eye area with gentle outward strokes. We recommend reducing the pulsation intensity for this area.
5. To switch off, press and hold the power button for 2 seconds.
6. Rinse your skin thoroughly and lightly pat dry with a towel. Apply your regular cream or lotion as usual to complete your routine.

Locking your facial cleansing brush (for travel)

1. Press and hold the +^ and - buttons for 2 seconds to lock the device. The device will pulsate and the battery indicator LEDs will flash once when locked. The buttons on the device will not work while the device is in locked mode.
2. The unlock the device, press and hold the +^ and - buttons for 2 seconds. The device will pulsate and the battery indicator LEDs will flash once to indicate the device is unlocked and ready to use.

Charging your facial cleansing brush

Blossom is rechargeable and gives up to 8 hours cordless use from a single 2 hour charge.

1. Ensure that the device is switched off
2. Plug the charging cable into the charging socket.
3. Plug the USB end of the cable into a USB power adaptor (not included).
4. The battery indicator LEDs will switch on to show the device is being charged.
5. When fully charged the battery indicator LEDs will switch off.
6. When the device needs to be recharged, the battery indicator LEDs flash will continuously for 30 seconds.

NOTE: There is a 15 minute auto shut-off on this appliance for your safety. This feature should not be considered as a substitute for 'OFF'. Always remember to switch the appliance off when not in use.

MAINTENANCE AND STORAGE

Cleaning

Always switch off the device before cleaning.

• Do not immerse in water or any other liquid to clean.
• Rinse the device under running water to remove any cleanser residue. Pat dry with a lint-free cloth or towel.
• Never use detergents or scouring agents and do not use any abrasive or sharp objects to clean as these may damage the silicone brushes.

Storage

Place the appliance in its box or in a safe, dry, cool place. To avoid breakage, do not wrap the charging cable around the appliance. Do not hang the unit by the charging cable.
