1. Safety warnings
- This product is not recommended for children.
- Disconnect the massage unit before cleaning
- Please operate this product according to the instructions in this manual.
- This product is designed for indoor use only.
- Recommended use time is 30 minutes or less.
- Please avoid use if the massage unit is damaged and call the Westinghouse® technical service at 1-866-967-7333.
- Do not use wet hands to connect the unit or to pull the plug.
- Do not spill liquids onto this product to avoid electric shock or cause damage to this product.
- In the event of a power failure disconnect the massager
- This appliance is not intended for use by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
- Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the massager.
- If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by Westinghouse® Customer Service ONLY.
- The appliance has a heated surface. People insensitive to heat must be careful when using the appliance.
- This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). To reduce the risk of electric shock, this plug is intended to fit into a standard AC wall outlet. If it does not fit fully into the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician. Do not attempt to modify the plug in any way.
2. Environment
The Westinghouse ^® WES42-0909B massager should be used only in well ventilated, normally dry and dust-free environments.
3. Restrictions
Stop immediately the use of this massage unit if you feel unwell and consult your doctor. If you have medical issues or problems, please consult your doctor before use. If you are using prescription drugs, please consult your pharmacist or doctor before use.
4. Maintenance
- This product should only be maintained by Westinghouse® certified technicians otherwise, the warranty will be void.
• Make sure the wall outlet is in good working order before use. - If this massage unit will not be used for an extended period, store in a dry and dustless environment.
- Avoid product exposure to high temperatures and direct sunlight.
- Unplug from the AC wall outlet when not in use and before cleaning. Clean this product with a dry cloth.

Do not use thinner, benzene or alcohol to clean the unit.
• We recommend using the massager intermittently and not for long periods.
• Wireless remote-control Battery replacement -
The battery compartment is at the back of the remote control.
- Press the small clip with your index finger while simultaneously using your thumbnail to pullout the drawer battery compartment.
- Insert a new "LITHIUM" battery type CR2025 3V and then put the compartment back in place.

- It is normal for the motor to make noise while in use.
- If the foot massager doesn't normally work, please check that the plug and socket are properly connected, and the switch is turned on.
- When the programmed working time is over, the massager will power off automatically.
• After several uses, the massager might power off because of overheating. It can be used again after half an hour of cooling time.

8. Operation
Position the Westinghouse® massager in a stable place and connect it to an AC wall outlet. Press the “on” switch. The power light will go on and the massage session will start at the speed/intensity level 1. You can then choose an automatic massage mode or adjust the foot massager manually.
For the automatic mode
Press the SELECT button repeatedly to choose one of the 4 preset automatic massage modes (Vitality, Relaxation, Reflexology and Active). An indicator light will light up to confirm the selected mode. While using any of the automatic massage modes, you may check the number of minutes left by pressing the TIMER button on the unit or on the remote control.
The programmed massage length, speed and heat setting should vary according to your health. We recommend starting using the Westinghouse® massager slowly and progressively as you get use to the unit more and more.
- Vitality mode
Press the blue button on the wireless control or the Select button on the unit to activate this mode. The vibration speed will fluctuate from levels 1 to 15 with infrared heat levels from 1 to 8.
- Relaxation mode
Press the green button on the wireless control or the Select button on the unit to activate this mode. The vibration speed will fluctuate from levels 1 to 4 and infrared heat levels from 1 to 3.
- Reflexology mode
Press the red button on the wireless control or the Select button on the unit to activate this mode. The vibration speed will fluctuate quickly from levels 1 to 15 and infrared heat levels from 1 to 8.
- Slimming mode
Press the yellow button on the wireless control or the Select button on the unit until this mode is activated. The vibration speed will fluctuate quickly from levels 6 to 12 with infrared heat levels from 4 to 6.
For the manual mode
- Massage speed
Press the “+” key to increase the massage speed, and the “-” key to decrease it. You can choose between 1 and 15 to select the speed level of your choice.
- Infrared heat intensity
Press the INFRARED button repeatedly on the remote or on the base of the unit to select the infrared heat intensity level from 1 to 8.
- Massage duration time
Press the TIMER button repeatedly to manually select the massage duration time (10, 20 or 30 minutes).
LED Display Window
The LED display window can show the following:
- Vibration speed/intensity level
- Time selection (10, 20 or 30 minutes).
- Infrared heat/intensity level.
9. Use
The Westinghouse® WES42-0909B foot and body massager can be used on other areas of the body. The WES42-0909B foot massager helps to relax tired, aching muscles, helps to reduce stiffness and can contribute to create a relaxation feeling when used on calves, thighs, back or waist.
Massage Under the Feet
Place your feet on the center of the pressure pad. You can also move them about and around the unit to find the perfect pressure point for you.

Place the massager on a sofa and lean your back and waist against it. Move around to find your preferred massage spot.

Sit or lie in a comfortable position, place the pressure pad on the abdomen with a cushion between them to soften the vibration.
