SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Read these safety instructions carefully before using your appliance and keep them safe for future reference.
- This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and if they understand the hazards involved. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children unless they are older than 8 and supervised. Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children less than 8 years.
- Appliances can be used by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.
• Children shall not play with the appliance. - If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or a similarly qualified person in order to avoid a hazard.
- If the kettle is overfilled, boiling water may be ejected.
- Kettle is only to be used with the stand provided.
- This appliance is intended to be used in household and similar applications such as :
- staff kitchen areas in shops, offices and other working environments;
- farm houses;
- by clients in hotels, motels and other residential type environments;
- bed and breakfast type environments.
- Do not operate the kettle if damaged, after an appliance malfunctions or it has been damaged in any manner, return to the customer service
department for repair, because special purpose tools are required.
- WARNING: avoid spillage on the connector.
- The heating element surface is subjected to residual heat after use. Do not touch these surfaces to avoid burning yourself.
- Use the kettle according to this instruction, any misuse may cause electric shock or other hazards.
- This appliance is not intended to heating liquid other than water.
- Before you connect the kettle to the mains supply, make sure that the voltage indicated on the rating plate, located on the bottom of the water kettle matches the mains voltage in your home. If it does not, contact your dealer and do not use the kettle.
- After the kettle has switched off automatically (or has been switched off manually) it may need time to cool down. After 15-20 seconds, the kettle can be switched on again.
• Always fill the kettle with water before switching it on.
- The kettle is designed to disconnect the live electrical supply from the element abnormal operating conditions. If the water kettle is accidentally switched on without water, the boil dry protector will operate.
- If the kettle ever boils dry, the power indicator will go out. Allow 15 minutes to cool before refilling with cold water. The safety cutout will automatically reset during this time.
- Place the kettle on a stable flat surface.
- Do not use this appliance outdoors.
- Ensure that the kettle is switched off before removing it from its base.
- Do not remove the kettle from its base during operation.
- Never immerse the kettle or cord in water or any other liquid. Do not allow liquid to penetrate the electrical parts of this kettle.
- Prevent children from pulling on the mains cord or knocking the kettle 18 over.
- Ensure that the mains lead does not overhang the worktop surface.
- The outside surface of the kettle may get hot during use, please take care when using the kettle.
- Never fill in water more than the maximum acceptable water level.
- Never use the kettle with the lid open.
- Do not open the lid when steam is coming out of the spout.
- Before cleaning the kettle disconnect from the power supply and wait until it was cooled down.
- Always press on the dent of the lid button perpendicularly with finger while the heat does not dissipate thoroughly.
- Regarding the instructions for cleaning surfaces in contact with food, thanks to refer to the section “CLEANING”.

BEFORE FIRST USE
Before first use, it is recommended to operate the kettle for 2 or 3 times following the instructions below, this will remove any dust or residues remaining from the manufacturing process.
(1): To activate the boiling function/to switch the appliance off in the boiling process or keep-warm process. There is ON/OFF indicator light upward side it.
To activate/to cancel the keep-warm function. There is keep warm indicator light upward side it.
+: To increase the degree of temperature with a 5^ C rise at one press.
— : To decrease the degree of temperature with a 5^ C drop at one press.
Note:
- The boiling setting is between 40°C and 100°C; the keep-warm setting is between 40°C and 95°C.
- The corresponding indicator light will flash during adjusting and remain on in the working process.
- When the water temperature is below 60°C, the display screen turns off after 1 minute enter standby state.
- When the water temperature above 60°C, the display screen shows the real temperature of water all the time.
- Turn off the display screen 1 minute after powering on, when lifting the kettle and putting it back on the base after 3-4 seconds, then the display screen is light on, because of electric kettle needs to discharge for 3-4 seconds. If the kettle is lifted and put down within 4 seconds, the display screen is still off and it is still in standby state. Pressing the

FILLING WATER
• Take up the kettle from the power base before filling.
- To fill the kettle, open the lid by pressing the lid button downwards
and fill the kettle with as much fresh, cold water as you desired. The water capacity must be between the Max and Min level shown on the kettle.
BOILING WATER
- Put the kettle filled with water onto the power base.
- Plug the power base into the mains supply and does not operate for 1 minute, the kettle enters the stand-by state and the display screen will turn off.

To start boiling process, press the button ,the appliance thereupon enters the boiling process. At this time, the desired temperature of water can be adjusted by repeatedly pressing the button — or + The display will show the chosen degree and the ON/OFF indicator light will flash during adjustment.

After completing setting for about 5 seconds, the ON/OFF indicator light will stop flashing and be on all the time. Then the display shows the real water temperature and the boiling begins.
- When reaching the adjusted degree, the kettle will automatically switch off and the buzzer will make a voice of “di” for 5 times, and then the ON/OFF indicator light will go out. The appliance turns back to the stand-by state.
- To cancel the boiling process, press the button (the kettle will return to the stand-by state and the ON/OFF indicator light will go out.
Note: Only when the real water temperature is under the adjusted degree, the kettle starts to boil after the button ⏻ has been pressed. If above the adjusted degree, the kettle will automatically enter the stand-by state.
KEEP WARM FEATURE
There are two approaches to starting the keep-warm function, which keeps the boiled water warm at a temperature you want.
A: To start keep-warm function in the heating process
- In the heating state, press the button , the appliance thereupon enters the heating and keep-warm process. At this time, the desired water temperature to keep can be adjusted by repeatedly pressing the button or . The display will show the chosen degree and the keep warm light will flash during adjustment.
- After completing setting for about 5 seconds, the keep warm light will stop flashing and be on all the time. Then the display shows the real water temperature and the boiling begins.
- The appliance will automatically switch to the keep-warm function with two indicator lights on after the water has boiled and the buzzer will make a voice of “di” for 5 times. If the keep-warm process has not been interrupted, 40 minutes later, the kettle will go into the stand-by state and the two indicator lights will go out.
- To cancel the keep-warm function, press the button ,the kettle will turn back to the boiling process if the real water temperature is lower than the adjusted boiling degree and the keep-warm indicator will go out. If above the adjusted degree, the kettle will automatically enter the stand-by state.
- To cancel the keep-warm process after the water has boiled, press the button ☑, the kettle will go into the stand-by state and the two indicator lights will go out.
B: To start keep-warm function in the stand-by state
- In the stand-by state, press the button ,the appliance thereupon enters the keep-warm process. Please refer to the steps above to set the degree of keeping warm.
- If the real water temperature is under the adjusted degree of keeping warm, the kettle will boil water till it reaches the adjusted degree. After that the kettle will enter the keep-warm process; if not, the kettle will keep the water warm at the degree you have set.
- To cancel the keep-warm function, press the button ,the kettle will return to the stand-by state and the keep warm indicator light will go out.

Note:
- When the water temperature decreases under the adjusted degree in the keep-warm process, the kettle will restart to boil and keep boiling till the water reaches the adjusted degree.
- During that time the display will show the real water temperature and the two indicator lights will remain on all the way. 40 minutes later, the kettle will automatically go into the stand-by state and both lights will go out.
SERVING WATER
- For serving the water, remove the kettle from the power base, pour the water out from the kettle spout.
CLEANING
- First read the instructions in the section titled "SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS".
• Always disconnect the kettle from electrical outlet before cleaning. - Before cleaning make sure the kettle is cold enough.
- Empty the kettle, clean the exterior surface of the kettle with a clean, damp cloth to preserve its original highly polished finish. Dry and polish with a soft cloth.
- Do not use abrasive cleansers or scouring agents of any kind inside or on the exterior of the kettle.
- Only use the dry cloth to wipe the base of the kettle.
- Avoid wetting the button and other electrical parts.
- Do not immerse the kettle or power base in water or other liquid, and make sure the electrical kettle socket is kept dry.
DESCALING
- Half fill the kettle with tap water and add the juice of 1 lemon to the water.
- Boil this mixture and allow it to stand for 15 minutes. Re-boil the mixture and allow it to stand a further 15 minutes. Re-boil this mixture a third time then rinse the kettle well.
STORAGE
- If you don't use the kettle for a long time, please store it carefully.
- Make sure the appliance is unplugged and completely dry.
- Store the appliance in a cool, dry place.
- Make sure the appliance is kept out of the reach of children.
