By purchasing the coolbox you have opted for a quality, long-lasting product.

Before using the coolbox, study the operating instructions carefully and only use it in the areas described and for the purposes described. If you sell the coolbox or give it away, make sure you provide these operating instructions with it. The operating instructions are an integral part of the product.

The physical and chemical components of the coolbox have been tested and found to be non-hazardous to health when used in contact with food in accordance with the requirements of Regulation EU no. 1935/2004.

Intended use

The coolbox allows you to keep packed food and drinks cool. You can use the coolbox for camping, in the car or for similar applications.

Use

• Prior to using the coolbox for the first time, it is recommended that you clean it for hygiene reasons. See also the chapter "Cleaning".
• Fill the coolbox as full as possible.
• Place additional ice packs in the cool box to keep the food cool for longer.
  • Always store food in its original packaging or in suitable containers.

Energy-saving tips

• When in cooling mode, do not expose the coolbox to direct sunlight.
• Only use food and drinks that are already chilled.
• Do not open the coolbox for longer than necessary and close the lid fully.

Cleaning

Never clean the coolbox under running water or immerse it in water.

To clean the casing, use a slightly damp cloth. Never use any solvents or cleaners that may damage the plastic. For stubborn dirt, add a little detergent to the damp cloth. Clean the inside of the coolbox with washing-up liquid and then rinse out with clean water. Then dry the cool box thoroughly with a dry cloth.

Storage

Remove all contents if you do not wish to use the coolbox for an extended period. Store the coolbox in a clean, dry place out of direct sunlight.

Environmental regulations and disposal information

When it reaches the end of its service life, for the sake of the environment, dispose of the product properly.

The packaging is made of environmentally-friendly materials which can be disposed of at your local recycling centre.

Please note the markings on the packaging material when disposing of it, it is labelled with abbreviations (a) and numbers (b), the meanings of which are as follows:

1-7: plastic / 20-22: paper and cardboard / 80-98: composite materials.

This device is sold with three years warranty from the date of purchase. Please keep the original receipt in a safe place as proof of purchase. Before using your product for the first time, please read the enclosed documentation. Should any problems arise which cannot be solved in this way, please call our hotline. Please have the article number and, if available, the serial number to hand for all enquiries. If it is not possible to solve the problem on the phone, our hotline support staff will initiate further servicing procedures depending on the fault. Within the warranty period the product will be repaired or replaced free of charge as we deem appropriate. No new warranty period commences if the product is repaired or replaced. Consumables such as batteries, rechargeable batteries and lamps are not covered by the warranty.

Your statutory rights towards the seller are not affected or restricted by this warranty.
