Before first use
- Before using the device for the first time, run it for 10 minutes without food. This is to remove the smell. A small amount of smoke may also be noticed, which is normal. Ventilate the room during this time.
- Allow the grill plate to cool down and clean it (see chapter Cleaning & Care).
Grilling on the griddle
- Place the pizza oven on a stable and level surface. Make sure that the surface is heat and splash-proof.
- Insert the plug into the mains socket. The red display will flash. Allow the pizza oven to preheat for 10 minutes.
- Lightly grease the griddle with butter.
- Cut the meat into small pieces to reduce the preparation time.
- Season the food.
- The preparation time depends on the type and thickness of the food. For a good result, we recommend turning the grilled food several times during grilling.
- During use, the heating indicator will flash on and off, and the thermostat controls the temperature throughout the table.
Note: Never use hard or sharp objects on the non-stick baking surface. The surface can be easily damaged by scratching.
Preparing pizza
- Place the pizza oven on a stable and level surface. Make sure that the surface is heat and splash-proof.
- Plug the power plug into the mains socket. The red display will flash. Allow the pizza oven to preheat for 10 minutes.
- Slide the pizza into the pizza oven on the spatula. Leave the pizza on the spatula so you can easily remove it from the oven.
- Bake the pizza for 5 to 7 minutes. Put the pizza on the plate. Please note that the spatula is very hot.
- During use, the heating indicator will flash on and off, and the thermostat controls the temperature throughout the table.
RECIPES
Pizza dough recipe
- Pizza dough (for 4 people) 500 g wheat flour
- 1 teaspoon of salt
• 4 tablespoons olive oil
• 20 g fresh yeast or 1 packet of baking yeast
• 250 ml lukewarm water
Mix the flour with the salt and the oil in a suitable bowl. Dissolve the fresh yeast in the lukewarm water and stir until smooth. Then pour this mixture into the flour and stir. You can put the yeast directly into the flour and then add the lukewarm water. Knead everything into a smooth dough. A mixer with a dough hook or food processor is ideal for this. Cover the bowl with a cloth and let it rise for a good 45 minutes until it has doubled in volume. Sprinkle the dough with some flour and roll out the mass to a thickness of 3 mm. Turn the mixture occasionally and sprinkle with flour to prevent sticking. Then cut out discs with the cutter form. Place these discs on a plate or board and sprinkle extra flour on the dough discs to prevent them from sticking together. You can prepare the other ingredients while it is rising.
Tomato sauce recipe
• 1 can peeled tomatoes
• 1 small can of tomato puree
- Salt, pepper, oregano
• 2 tablespoons olive oil
• 2 crushed garlic cloves
Chop the peeled tomatoes and mix with the remaining ingredients.
CLEANING AND CARE
- After use, allow the pizza oven to cool for at least 30 minutes before cleaning and storing.
- Clean the cover, baking plate and pizza spatula with warm water and a soft cloth. Do not clean the parts in the dishwasher!
- Never immerse the base unit in water. Clean the surface with a damp cloth to clean.
- Always keep the device and its accessories in the original box so that nothing can be damaged.
