GENERAL INFORMATION

A vacuum in the upper part of the fish tank allows the fish to swim above the natural water level of the garden pond. The fish tank has an opening at the bottom which allows the fish to swim into the fish tank.

In the fish tank the water temperature is warmer due to the sunlight. This warm water attracts the fish. The fish tank is constructed so that the fish can swim in and out of the opening at any time.

Choose a suitable place in your garden pond that is so deep that the opening of the fish tank is below the water level. Once the water in the fish tank has warmed up, the first fish will swim in.

Tip: With some food the fish will find their way into the fish tank more easily.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT THE FISH TANK

• In case of frost the fish tank must be removed from the pond.
• Place the fish tank in your pond so that it is not exposed to too much or too little sun.
• Too much sunlight promotes algae growth too much.
• Too little sunlight does not heat the water in the fish tank strongly enough.
• A daily sun exposure of approx. 3-4 hours is recommended.

INSTALLATION OF THE FISH TANK

In order to place the fish tank correctly in your garden pond, please follow the assembly instructions below:

1 Place the fish tank in your garden pond.
2 Tilt the fish tank so that it is completely under the water surface and can fill completely with water.

3 Once the fish tank is completely filled with water, you can place it vertically in the water. Make sure that the fish tank is on a straight, non-slip surface. The water in the fish tank warms up and attracts the fish in your pond.

Removing the residual air with a wet-dry vacuum cleaner

1 Take the fish tank out of the garden pond and lay it down horizontally. Insert the hose up to the lid and then place the tank upright in the garden pond.

2 Then remove the remaining air from the fish tank using the wet-dry vacuum cleaner.
