How to turn on or off the Newskill Aton V2 headset?

To turn on the headset, press the power button for about 2.5 seconds. To turn it off, press again for 2.5 seconds. A quick press allows you to pause or answer/end a call.

How to connect the headset in 2.4 GHz wireless mode?

Insert the 2.4 GHz USB receiver into a USB port on your PC, Mac, PlayStation 5 or 4. Turn on the headset by holding the power button, then switch the connection switch to the red position (2.4 GHz). The blue LED flashes then becomes solid once the connection is established.

How to connect the headset via Bluetooth 5.0?

Turn on the headset and set the connection switch to the green position (Bluetooth). On your device (smartphone, PC, etc.), search for Bluetooth devices and select "ATON". The connection is established when the blue LED becomes solid. Note: the headset can only connect to one Bluetooth device at a time.

How to use the headset with a 3.5 mm jack cable?

Plug the included 3.5 mm jack cable into the headphone jack of your device (console, PC, etc.). The headset works without battery in this configuration, but the RGB lighting is not active. A dual jack adapter is included for devices that require two jacks.

How to charge the Newskill Aton V2 headset?

Use the included USB-A to USB-C cable. Plug it into a USB 3.0 port on your PC or a low-voltage USB charger (10-20 W max). Charging time is approximately 2.5 hours. The red LED is solid during charging. Note: the headset cannot be used wirelessly while charging.

What is the battery life?

The battery life reaches up to 38 hours with RGB lighting on, and 60 hours with lighting off (volume at 60% max). When the battery drops to 5%, the headset emits beeps to prompt you to recharge.

How to mute the microphone?

Press the button on the earcup once to mute the microphone. The blue LED on the mic turns off. Press again to unmute.

How to change the RGB lighting mode?

Hold down the mute/lighting button for more than 2 seconds to cycle through modes: fast RGB cycle, slow RGB cycle, fixed colors (red, green, blue, pink, yellow, Newskill blue) and off. The setting is saved in memory even after power off.

Is the headset compatible with my console?

The Newskill Aton V2 is compatible with PS4 and PS5 (via 2.4 GHz or 3.5 mm jack), Xbox Series X/S (via 3.5 mm jack), Nintendo Switch (via 3.5 mm jack or Bluetooth 5.0), PC/Mac (2.4 GHz, Bluetooth or USB) and smartphones (Bluetooth or 3.5 mm jack).

How to clean the headset?

Always unplug the headset before cleaning. Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the exterior. Never use corrosive liquids or abrasive products.

3.5mm JACK CABLE CONNECTION

Aton works by 3.5mm audio cable connection.

We also include a dual 3.5mm to 1 x 3.5mm adapter so you can connect it to any audio device.

NOTE: ATON does not require power to connect by cable, so it can work without a battery.

NOTE 2: Audio cable connection does not power RGB lighting.

How to mute the microphone of ATON?

Aton has a microphone retractable with integrated blue LED.

Press to turn off the microphone, the blue light will turn off.

Press again to activate the microphone again, the light will be on again.

How to change the backlight of ATON?

Press more than 2 seconds to switch between the different light cycles.

BATTERY CHARGING AND OPTIMIZATION

ATON includes a highly durable 3.7V/1500mAh Lithium battery Its duration is as follows:

38h (with lighting at a maximum of 60% volume)

60h (with lighting at a maximum of 60% volume)

When the battery charge reaches 5% ATON will start making sounds to connect it.

We include a USB A to USB Type C cable to connect the device and charge it, we recommend using a USB 3.0 PC socket for more efficient charging.

If this is not possible, we recommend charging with a low voltage USB charger (10-20W) Max.

The charging time is approximately 2.5 hours.

NOTE: ATON CANNOT be charged at the same time as using any of your wired or wireless connections.
