How to install the Vevor MT-130 heated water hose?

Fully unroll the hose on the ground. If the temperature is below 50 °F (10 °C), plug it in for a few minutes to make it flexible. Then connect one end to the water source and the other to the RV or desired use. Turn on the water and check for leaks. Finally, plug the power cord into a certified outlet.

Is this hose suitable for drinking water?

Yes, the hose is certified BPA-free and can be used for drinking water. However, let the water run for a few minutes before drinking to flush out any impurities.

What is the minimum operating temperature?

The hose provides freeze protection down to -45 °F (-42.7 °C). The heating system activates automatically at 46 °F (8 °C) and stops at 59 °F (15 °C).

What if water freezes inside the hose?

Move the hose to a warmer location, plug it in for about 30 minutes to thaw, then let the water drain. Make sure the hose is fully unrolled.

Can I use an extension cord with this hose?

No, using an extension cord is strictly prohibited. Plug the hose directly into a certified 220-240 V outlet.

How to clean and maintain the hose?

Drain the hose completely after use, unplug it, coil it without forcing, and store it in a dry place away from sunlight. Protect the plug in a waterproof enclosure.

The LED light is on but the hose does not heat, what to do?

Is there a risk of leaks at the connections?

If the hose slips at the faucet, wrap Teflon tape around the male connector. For a leak at the female connector, check for a washer. If leaks persist, contact support.

Can I bury the heated hose?

No, the hose is not designed to be buried. It should be used on the surface, fully unrolled, and under the same ambient conditions.

What is the power consumption?

The power depends on the length. For the 25 ft model, it is 160 W. Other lengths range from 96 W (15 ft) to 550 W (100 ft).

INSTALLATION METHODS

PRIOR TO USE

Heated Water Hose for RV quick insertion type hose connections on both end and includes a features female quick insertion type adapter. It allows connecti the water supply on either end of hose, which depending on the location of electrical outlet only use a certified outlet.Water tank adapter only lightly put on - the adapter does not start!

NOTE:

The Heated water hose offers freeze protection down to -40^(-40^) . And it only heats water when temperature drops to 46^(8^) or below. Stop heating when temperature reaches 59^(15^) or above.

Confirm what will be connected at each end of the hose and put both the correct location through fully extending hose on the ground.

If working temperature is below 50^(10^) , connect power cord to the outlet for several minutes to allow the hose to become flexible re-ducing being frozen. Unplug hose before continuing to Step 3.

Connect hose to RV, mobile home, or boat.

Turn on water supply and check for leaks.

NOTE:

In extremely cold weather, allowing water to drip from the faucet and flow sl through the hose can effectively prevent the hose from freezing.

STORAGE RECOMMENDATIONS

Do not at any time pull hose with excessive force. This may damage the fittings and electrical components.		×

TROUBLE SHOOTTING

PROBLEM	CAUSE	SOLUTION
1. Having ice in the hose.	There is water in the without heated and froze in the ow temperature environment	Move to warmer area, plug-in heated hose for about 30 minutes to thaw and allow water to drain
2. Hose slips off at the fa connection after a few minutes of use.	Loose connection or excessive water pressure.	- Wrap several tums of white PTFE tape around the male connector first, then try to use - If it still doesn't work, lease connect hose to another water source with suitable water pressure (lower 600 PSI)
