Installation - Roof

Note: The installation method may be different in different scenarios. The installation procedure is for reference only.

1. Eaves part:

In the first row, along the reference line (keel), nail the real part of the thatch along the eaves;

Second row, overlapping; The third row to the sixth row, each row cup back basically overlapping, highlighting the eaves thick effect; Above the sixth row, 6.5cms - 7cms (the width of the thatch tile part).

2. Ridge part:

Oblique ridge: first lay the main surface on both sides of the thatched house, then synchronously spread the spine shape from the bottom to the top to guide rain; Positive ridge: after the roofing thatch tiles are laid, close the positive ridge; Tips: For oblique ridge and positive ridge, adjust the angle of thatch pieces to the main surface of the thatch shingle part to fit the size. According to the width of the ridge, cut the thatch tiles into small pieces for installation. The effect is natural and easy to close. Use 2-3 small pieces (determine the shear size based on the ridge width). First spread on both sides, then spread a piece in the middle to form the backbone effect.

3. Finishing work after installation:

After the entire thatch roof is installed, you can properly press and pick the bending of the thatch tile to make it smooth and natural (especially the eaves part). You can choose from a fluffy effect (with a high degree of thatch bending) or a smooth effect (with a low degree of thatch bending) to finish as needed.

4. Installation tips:

Do not be too compact or too loose when installing, so as not to affect the effect. The thatched grass along the eaves suggests that the grass lines should be long and overlapping, and the first six rows of the eaves are basically overlapped, highlighting the heavy effect of floating and hanging. Color and style are spread according to the proportioning scheme. Take the dislocation paving method, the overall effect from the bottom up, do not see the base layer of the roof, the effect.

1. Bind with cable ties or iron wire and rope.
2. Fix with nails, yard nails, straight nails, or self-tapping screws.
3. Use structural adhesive or double-sided adhesive to fix.
