Frequently Asked Questions - SUP-305 Vevor

How to inflate my SUP-305 board?
Unfold the board on a clean surface. Remove the valve cover and open the valve by turning counterclockwise. Connect the pump hose and tighten. First use double action mode (high volume) for quick inflation, then switch to single action (high pressure) to reach 12-15 PSI. Pumping takes about 10 minutes. Close and lock the valve.
What pressure should I use for my SUP-305 board?
The recommended pressure is 12 to 15 PSI. Pump until the manometer indicates this range. Do not exceed 15 PSI to avoid damaging the board. The pump offers increasing resistance as pressure rises.
How to install the center fin?
Insert the front end of the fin into the opening of the fin box, then push down until it is flush with the back of the box. Ensure the locking tab is in the middle position, then press it down to secure the fin. To remove, pull the tab.
How to attach the safety leash?
Thread a loop of string through the rear handle of the board. Pass the wrist through the loop and pull tight. Open the velcro cuff, insert it into a chain loop, then close the first two velcro straps. Fold the last strap and press to secure. The leash must always be attached to the board while in use.
How to adjust the aluminum paddle?
Open the adjustment clamp, slide the inner shaft to adjust length, then close the clamp. If the shaft rotates or slips, turn the clamp clockwise to tighten. Do not exceed the maximum length mark on the paddle. After use, rinse with fresh water and disassemble the shaft for drying.
How to install the kayak seat on the SUP-305?
The seat attaches directly to the D-rings located on the board. The seat hooks attach to these rings. Make sure the seat is securely fastened before use. This seat is only compatible with the SUP-305S and SUP-320S models.
How to maintain and clean my board after use?
Rinse the board thoroughly with fresh water to remove sand and salt. Use a mild soap for stubborn dirt, avoid harsh chemicals. Dry completely before storing. Check the condition of the valve and accessories.
How to store the board correctly?
Completely deflate the board, remove the fin and leash. Roll the board from nose to tail with the valve open. Once rolled, close and lock the valve, then fasten the strap. Store in a clean, dry place away from sunlight and extreme temperatures.
What safety precautions should I take?
Always wear a safety leash and an approved life jacket (e.g., Coast Guard). Monitor the weather, avoid paddling with offshore winds or after sunset. Do not consume alcohol before use. Minors must be supervised by an adult. Know your limits and local regulations.
What to do in case of a puncture or damage?
Use the repair kit provided. Clean the damaged area, apply the adhesive patch and press firmly. For a lasting repair, follow the kit instructions. If the damage is significant, contact Vevor support via www.vevor.com/support.

Disregarding any of the safety precautions and instructions contained in the owner's manual or on the product may result in injury, including the possibility of death.

- Always wear your safety leash.

When it comes to paddle board safety, the most important tool is the leash. Whether you are a beginner or an elite paddle boarder, the leash may be the difference between life and death. A leash is a tool that connects you to your board. Your board is your personal flotation device that can soon help you float in after falling. Using a leash means you are not only protecting your own life but also the lives of those around you.

- Always wear a coast guard approved personal flotation device.

The second most important tool for paddle board safety is the life jacket. An important point of stand-up paddle board you should be aware of is that when a paddle board is used in areas "beyond the narrow limits of a swimming, surfing, or bathing area," it will be considered as a vessel. In these areas, you are required by law to have a United States Coast Guard approved flotation device every time you paddle out. Here you will use a life jacket that provides maximum buoyancy.

- Monitor the weather before paddle boarding.

It seems to be effortless to use a stand-up paddle board, but please note that it is a skillful sport and demands awareness of dangers that may incur due to the changing forces of nature.

- Before paddling the board, for safety concern, never drink alcohol or anything else that may impair your coordination, judgment, and paddle boarding ability.

- Never allow minors to use this board without any adult supervision.

- Never paddle the board after sunset, before dawn, or at any time in poor lighting. Avoid paddling in offshore wind or windy conditions.

- Do not exceed your paddling abilities. Be aware of your limitations. Paddle within your capacities, do not overload.

- Check local laws and regulations regarding proper and safe use of this product.

OPERATION

Inflating Your Board

  1. Unfold the paddle board on a clean and smooth surface.
  2. Remove the valve cover and press down the spring, then turn it counterclockwise to open it.
  3. Connect the air tube to the pump and tighten it clockwise.

a. Use dual action first. Switch to single action when you feel it's hard to inflate. b. The gauge needle will move when the pressure reaches 5 psi. c. It takes about 10 minutes of pumping. d. Single action high capacity: 1.8L, standard pressure: 20 psi. e. Double action high capacity: 1.8L + 1.5L, standard pressure: 7 psi.

  1. Inflate the board until reaching the required 12-15 PSI.
  2. Lock the valve cover over the valve stem.

Note: There is no worry about over-inflating or damaging the board when using the hand pump. It takes 3 PSI of pressure in the board before the gauge will register. While your board may look and feel rigid, continue until the gauge reaches the recommended pressure of 12-15 PSI. The pump will offer significant resistance the closer you get to the recommended pressure.

Open adjustment clamp to lengthen shorten your paddle.Close adjustment clamp to secure your paddle length in the place yo want.

Note: If the inner shaft twists or slides, the adjustment clamp may not be tight enough. Rotate the clamp clockwise to tighten; counterclockwise to loosen.

1) Do not extend upper shaft beyond the maximum paddle length mark. 2) Extending beyond the maximum extension limit can result in permanent damage to the adjustment clip while padding. 3) We recommend rinsing your paddle with fresh water after each use and removing upper shaft for drying.

4) Do not leave exposed to direct sunlight for prolonged periods. The sun can damage the paddle.

Installing seat

It is easy to install a kayak seat on the paddle board; seat hooks hang dirt the D rings.

STORAGE AND MAINTENANCE

Board is made of PVC that can offer superior UV protection. However, to ensure longer lifetime, please avoid storing the board where it may be exposed to UV or in direct sunlight.

Please check the following list of storage tips:

1) Make sure to fully deflate the board, remove the center fin and your leash. 2) Clean and check the boards after each use. Rinse your board thoroughly, making sure to remove any residues of sand and salt water build up. Use a soap to remove any dirt, and avoid all heavy chemical based products. Make sure the board is completely dry before storing it away. 3) When folding up your board for storage, make sure to roll from the nose leaving the inflation valve open while doing this. Once the board is fully rolled be sure to close and lock the inflation valve and secure the board strap around your rolled up board. 4) When storing your board, keep it in a clean and dry place that will not be affected by the elements or major temperature changes. Please don't store your board outdoors.

Limit exposure of direct sunlight to the Deck-side.

1) While the benefits of a non-slip traction pad are obvious, they also increase risk of overheating. 2) While in use, water flowing over the deck helps to regulate surface temperature. 3) But when the deck traction pad is dry, the effects of heat absorption are amplified when exposed to direct sunlight. 4) If you must expose your board to direct sunlight during transport or temperature storage, it is safest to keep the bottom facing up.

Avoid heat damage always.

1) When not in use, never leave your board exposed to direct sunlight for extended periods. 2) Always keep your board in a shaded area when not in use. 3) When not in use, never leave your deck pad exposed and facing the sun.
