How to inflate the Vevor PK001SS mattress?

Use the included electric pump (DC 12V, cigarette lighter). Plug in the pump, insert the nozzle into the valve, and turn it on. Do not exceed 15 minutes of continuous operation. Allow 5 minutes of cooling between uses. After inflation, close the caps tightly to prevent leaks.

What to do if the mattress deflates after a few hours?

Slight deflation is normal during the first 12 hours due to material stretching. Simply re-inflate with the pump. If air loss is significant, check the valves and seams with soapy water. Use the repair kit for leaks.

How to repair an air leak?

Wet the suspected area with soapy water: bubbles indicate the leak. Dry and clean the area. Cut a round patch from the repair kit, apply glue to the patch and around the leak, press firmly. Let dry for 24 hours before reinflating.

The mattress has a chemical smell: is this normal?

Yes, it is normal after prolonged storage. The odor disappears by leaving the mattress in a ventilated area. Avoid sources of ignition during this time.

Can I use this mattress for a baby?

No. The mattress is not suitable and poses a suffocation risk for infants under 15 months. For older children, ensure at least shoulder-width clearance between the mattress and walls.

What type of pump is included?

The electric pump operates on 12V DC (cigarette lighter socket) with a power of 70W. It is intended for adult and household use only.

How to clean the mattress?

Use a clean damp cloth with a clear liquid dish detergent if necessary. Rinse thoroughly and let air dry completely before storing.

What is the recommended operating temperature?

Does the warranty cover punctures?

Due to the stretching period of the material, the new product will expand and deflate a little within 12 hours after it is fully inflated. Minor refill may be required. It's the natural leakage of inflation products.

Risk of Suffocation

- Infants have suffocated on inflatable mattresses. Never place an infant 15 months or younger to sleep on an inflatable mattress.

- When used by children over 15 months,

- Provide at least a shoulder width space between the mattress and walls, dressers, or other vertical objects to avoid entrapment.

Upon complete deflation, lay the bed on a flat surface with the sleeping surface facing upwards and fold according to the steps below.

PRECAUTIONS

1. This product is a non-life-saving device and cannot be used for play or water rescue. Children should only be allowed to use it under adult supervision.
2. The ideal temperature for use is -25°C to 50°C.
3. Keep this product in a well-organized space where it will be easy to find and protected from sharp objects.
4. After inflation, make sure all the covers of the 2-layer close tightly to avoid air leakage.
5. In the case of leakage, check the leaking part carefully or use detergent to check the leaking part. After finding it, you can use materials in the repair kit to repair it.
6. Please refer to the instructions about the air pump before inflating.
7. The product has been stored for a long time from production to packaging and then to the customer, it might have a slight smell (like mobile phones, shoes, clothes, etc.). The same goes for inflatable products; just leave it in a ventilated place, the smell will soon dissipate.
8. Store in a well-ventilated place and keep away from ignition sources, excessive heat, and excessive cold.

CLEANING

1. For spot cleaning, use a clean damp cloth to wipe the surface of the mattress. Apply a clear liquid dish detergent without dye if necessary.
2. Wet the stained area thoroughly; gently massage the stained area with detergent. Blot the area to remove the staining substance.
3. Rinse thoroughly and blot dry. Allow your bed to air dry completely after cleaning and before storing.

IN CASE OF AIR LEAKAGE

Please check the following if there is an air leak.

1. Have the upper cap closed?
2. Have the middle valve been tightened to the bleeder valve?
3. Repair patches have been included for minor repairs. (Includes patch and glue)

REPAIRING AN AIR LEAK

1. Wipe bed with mild soapy water over area to find possible air leak. DO NOT SUBMERGE MATTRESS IN WATER! If there is a leak, bubbles will form around leakage area.
2. Follow cleaning instructions for leak area.
3. Use included patch kit to cut a suitable sized patch for leak. Make sure to round the edges of repair patch to avoid peeling.
4. Apply glue to patch area and around leakage area.
5. Press patch firmly over the puncture area.
6. Wait 24 hours before inflating. To prevent patch from peeling while drying.

It is recommended to tape down patch edges with a light adhesive tape.

WARRANTY POLICY

Truck Bed Air Mattresses are warranted against defects in material and workmanship for a period of one year from the date of purchase. Products covered by the warranty include failure of the pump, seams, or the valve. Punctures or wear to the mattress due to use or abuse are not covered. It is normal for an airbed that has been inflated for extended periods to require the addition of air after a few days. Air will be lost from the mattress through the material over time. Also, cooling of the air around the bed will cause the air inside the bed to contract, and the bed will be softer and need refilling.
