Frequently Asked Questions - JM-YP32 Vevor

How to charge the JM-YP32 lamp?

Turn off the lamp before charging. Use the supplied USB Type-C cable with a 5V 2A adapter (not included). Full charging takes about 4.5 hours. The battery indicator lights up during charging.

What is the battery life?

The battery life is 4 hours in high brightness mode and 8 hours in low brightness mode, with a 6000 mAh battery.

Can I use the lamp outdoors?

Yes, but it is not waterproof. Do not submerge it in water and avoid prolonged exposure to rain. Use it in a dry environment.

How to adjust the brightness?

Press the switch once to turn on. Press again to switch to low brightness mode. A third press activates SOS mode. A fourth press turns off the lamp. You can also hold the switch for 2 seconds to turn off.

What to do if the lamp does not turn on?

Check that the battery is charged. Plug in the charging cable and make sure the indicator lights up. If nothing happens, try another 5V 2A adapter. If the problem persists, contact Vevor support.

Can I leave the lamp charging overnight?

It is recommended not to exceed the indicated charging time (4.5 h). Overcharging could damage the battery. Unplug once charging is complete.

How to activate SOS mode?

Turn on the lamp, then press the switch three times quickly to switch to SOS mode (flashing). Press once more to turn off or hold for 2 seconds to return to previous mode.

Is the lamp compatible with a tripod?

The 180° swiveling base allows placing the lamp on a flat surface or hanging it via the hook. No screw thread is mentioned in the manual.

Is there a warranty?

How to clean the lamp?

Unplug the lamp before cleaning. Use a soft, dry cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals. Avoid moisture.

WARNING:

To prevent serious injury, FIRE, and EXPLPSION:

1. Do not disassemble the device.
2. The LED light is very bright. Do not look directly into the light beam point the light beam at others!

9. Keep away from children! Children should be supervised in order to ensure that they do not play with the device!

Charging procedure:

1. Switch lamp off during charging, and connect the charger to the battery pa
2. Before taking lamp into service for the first time, please charge it for 4-5
3. Always only use the included charging cable, and compatible with a 5V 2A adapter or above to charge the work light. (The cable is included in the pad but the adapter isn't)
4. If the battery indicator did not light up, please remove the charger and try
5. To maintain the rechargeable batteries, users should recharge every 3 months not using for a long period.
6. To provide power to the outside world, the lights must be turned off first.

OPERATION

1. Turn on the power switch, and the work light will illuminate.
2. To adjust the brightness, press the switch button again.
3. Press the switch three times to adjust to SOS mode.
4. After use, press the power switch for the fourth time to turn off the light.
5. Press and hold the power switch for 2 seconds in any gear, and will be turned off. When turned on again, it will return to that gear.
