INSTRUCTIONS

Thank you for choosing the Epower-237! Always follow basic safety precautions when using electrical appliances. Read all instructions carefully. Please keep this instruction manual for easy reference.

A. PRODUCT LAYOUT:

Press the switch to check the storage level of Epower-237.

The indicator will flash one by one during the period of charging. Different numbers of solid indicators show different storage levels of Epower-237. All indicators light off when the charging is paused or completed.

Epower Charging Instruction:

1. Plug the home adaptor into the universal socket.
2. Connect the USB-C connector to the Epower-237 host.

Jump start 12V vehicle instruction:

1. Connect battery clamps to car battery terminals correctly.

Red Clamp to the positive (+) battery terminal, Black Clamp to the negative (-) battery terminal.

1. Make sure starting state indicator green light becomes solid. Try the ignition to 'START' position.
2. Start engine successfully, remove the blue plug from the host.

GREEN LIGHT ON: Telling the connection is correct and the circuit is working, you can turn on the engine to jump-start directly.

RED LIGHT ON WITH ALARM BUZZER: Telling the connection is wrong, or short-circuit happens. Check and correct the clamps till the GREEN LIGHT on, then turn on the engine.

GREEN LIGHT BLINKING/BUZZER WARNING: Saying the vehicle battery is low voltage, press the "BOOST" button, wait GREEN LIGHT becomes solid, then turn on the engine within 30s.

NO LIGHT ON: The vehicle's battery may be damaged. After confirming the clamps are connected correctly, press the "BOOST" button, wait until the GREEN LIGHT is on, and then start the engine within 30 seconds.

RED LIGHT AND GREEN LIGHT BLINKING: The unit enters protection mode after 8 consecutive start attempts. Wait 10 minutes before starting the engine.

If the car still cannot start, consult a professional. Do not attempt jump-starting again.

CAUTION:

- Occasionally, the jump starter will lock itself down for safety if the red light on the clamp is steady on with a buzzing alarm, due to (a) short-circuit; (b) over-current; (c) over-temperature; (d) over-low-voltage; (e) reverse-connection. If this happens, turn off the jump starter, remove the battery clamps from the car battery, restart the jump starter, reconnect the clamps, and try again.

- If all indicator lights on the jump starter are flashing, due to over-temperature protection, turn off the jump starter, remove the battery clamps from the car battery, and wait until it cools down before the next attempt.

- If the vehicle does not start within 3 seconds, stop starting and wait at least 30 seconds before attempting to restart. Do not jump start the vehicle continuously more than four times, as it may damage the unit. Check the vehicle for other possible reasons for not starting.

- During jump starting, avoid the positive and negative battery clamps touching each other. Otherwise, an electric spark will appear, resulting in a safety hazard and damage to the unit by short circuit.

- This unit contains a lithium polymer battery. It is only used as an emergency power source and not to replace a car battery. Always comply with transport and safety regulations when using and disposing of such batteries.

Charging Cell Phone or Tablet Instructions:

1. Plug the switch cable into the USB 5V/2.4A output port.
2. Select the appropriate connector and connect it to your mobile phone or tablet.
3. Press the switch button to charge.

Press the switch for 4 seconds to start the LED flash light.

There are 4 modes of LED light that appear in order (normal, strobe, SOS, off) if you press slightly.

F. TROUBLE SHOOTING:

Q: If you fail to jumpstart the vehicle, please check the possible causes in order.

A: (1) Insufficient power level; you may need to charge the jump starter more. Please keep the battery level higher than 75% to ensure a successful jumpstart.

(2) Bad connection caused by rust or dirt on battery terminals; please clean the terminals and try again.

(3) The jump starter activated its overheating protection due to the battery overheating; please try again after it cools down.

(4) The battery clamps are connected to the incorrect terminals; please ensure the clamps are connected to the correct terminals.

(5) Poor connection between the smart jump starter clamps and battery; ensure the connection between the clamps and the battery is secure.

(6) The vehicle cannot start because of issues unrelated to battery power levels. Please use the appropriate equipment to check the battery or error code of the vehicle.

H. WARNING:

1. Read the instruction manual carefully before using this unit. 2 Jump for 12V vehicles, it would be hazard for other jumping.
2. DO NOT use this unit If any cable clamp or cord Is damaged.
3. DO NOT use in place of a vehicle battery.
4. Never recharge the unit from a car battery after successfully cranking the car.
5. Make sure to check that all battery connections are CLEAN before jump starting! Make sure the battery clamps are well connected! If the battery terminals on the vehicle are dirty or corroded, the power of the unit will be lessened.
6. DO NOT jump start more than 3 times in a row. It could damage the unit by overheating. When starting up multiple times, each start-up interval is two minutes.
7. Remove the product from the vehicle battery within 30 seconds of jump starting. If not, it could lead to damage.
8. DO NOT connect the two clamps together.
9. DO NOT use by young or infirm persons without supervision.
10. DO NOT use as a toy.
11. DO NOT allow the product to become wet.
12. DO NOT immerse the product in water.
13. DO NOT operate the product in explosive atmospheres, such as in the presence of flammable liquids, gases or dust.
14. DO NOT modify or disassemble Epower-237. Only a repair technician may repair this unit.
15. DO NOT expose product to extreme heat or fire. Make sure someone should be within range of your voice or close enough to come to your aid when working with batteries.
16. Remove personal metal items like rings, bracelets, necklaces, etc. when using the products.
17. DO NOT drop the unit. If the unit receives a sharp blow or is otherwise damaged in any way, have it checked by a qualified battery technician.
18. DO NOT store in locations where the temperature may exceed 60°C.
19. Charge only at ambient temperature between 0°C and 45°C.
20. Charge only using the charger provided with this unit or the same standard as the host input port.
21. DO NOT use the unit to jump start a vehicle while charging the internal battery.
22. If this unit is leaking liquid, dispose of it at a proper recycling facility immediately.
23. Under extreme conditions, battery leakage can occur. If liquid is noticed coming from the product, do not handle it with bare hands. In case of skin contact, wash with soap and water immediately. If liquid comes in contact with eyes, rinse eyes with cold running water for at least 10 minutes and get medical attention immediately.
24. Product contains lithium based battery. At end of product life, dispose of product according to local regulations.
25. After jump starting the car, do not charge this unit immediately.
26. Do not use the jumper cable to charge other equipment.
