This appliance must be grounded while in use to protect the operator electrical shock. The appliance is equipped with a 3-conductor cord and 3-prong grounding-type plug to fit the proper grounding-type receptacle. T appliance has a plug that looks like sketch A. An adapter, sketch B, sho be used for connecting sketch-A plugs to two-plug or two-prong receptacles. The grounding tab, which extends from the adapter, must be connected to a permanent ground such as a properly grounded outlet as shown in sketch C using a metal screw.

HOW TO USE

  1. Before initial use, remove the packaging and check the scope of delivery. We recommend cleaning the appliance as described under "cleaning".

  1. Push the lock at the handle to open the lid.
  2. Make sure the bottom surface of rice pot and heating plate in the are clean enough .Proper care should be taken to avoid any deform

rice pot, otherwise the heating plate may be destroyed or cooking performance may be destroyed.

  1. Wash thoroughly the rice and put them into the rice pot, make the flat, then add certain amount of water. A proportion is advised to be 1: (raw rice vs water). But you may need to adjust this proportion to experiment some times because best cooking performance varies depending on type of rice.

  2. Make sure the outside of the rice pot is dry prior to cooking. If the is returned to cooker when wet, it may damage or cause the product malfunction.

  3. Place the rice pot into the cooker well and make sure the pot is connecting well with the thermal limiter.

  4. Push down the lid until a click sound is heard, now the lid is locke

  5. Connect the plug to the mains supply, the “Warm” indicator lights up, press the cooking button down, the “Cook” indicator lights up and “\light goes out. The rice cooker is now cooking.

  6. Once the water has evaporated in the rice pot, the appliance switches automatically to "Warm", ending the cooking process. The "Warm" is lit at "Cook" light goes out.

Tip: Leave the rice for a further 5-10 minutes prior to draining it from pot.

  1. Disconnect the power plug from the socket.

  2. This appliance is uniquely designed to keep the rice or food war over 12 hours. Therefore, if you need to keep the rice warm for hours, leave the rice in the pot, the "Warm" light remains on until you plug from the socket.

Rice should not be left in the rice pot with “KEEP WARM” function 24 hours.

Always disconnect the power plug from the socket whenever the rice pot is empty.

CAUTIONS WHEN USING

• Always fill the rice pot with water, never fill the housing cooker.

- Use the rice pot as an insert in this device only. It is not suitable cookers!

- A safety mechanism prevents the device from cooking if the rice p not been inserted properly.

- Do not touch ,cover or obstruct the steam vent on the top of the cooker as it is extremely hot and may cause scalding. Hot steam wi escape,be cautious of the steam.

HOW TO CLEAN

Pour out the contents of rice pot after it has cooled down.

  1. Clean the rice pot, spoon and measuring cup by hand in a warm ri bath.

2.There is a detachable sheet in the lid, remove it from the lid ,clear rinse,then replace it well in the lid.

  1. Remove the water tank, clean and rinse, then replace it well in the appliance.

  2. Allow all parts to dry and replace them well.

  3. Wipe off the inside and outside of the housing cooker with a damp cloth, then wipe it with a dry cloth.

CAUTIONS WHEN CLEANING

TOUBLESHOOTING

Because rice variations differ in their make-up, results may vary depend upon the type of rice being used. Below are some troubleshooting tips help you achieve the desired consistency.

PROBLEMSOLUTION
Rice is too dry/hard after cooking.If rice is dry or hard/chewy when the rice cooker to “WARM” mode, additional water and cooking time soften the rice. Depending on how dry the rice is, a to 1 cup of water and stir through. Close the lid down the cook switch to “COOK” mode. When the cooker switches to “WARM” mode, open the lid and the rice to check the consistency. Repeat as neces until rice is soft and moist.
Rice is too moist/soggy after cooking.If rice is still too wet or soggy when the rice co switches to “WARM” mode, use the serving spatula the rice. This will redistribute the bottom(moistest) p the rice as well as release excess moisture. Close and allow the rice cooker to remain on “WARM” 10-30 minutes as needed, opening the lid and stirri periodically to release excess moisture.
