How to connect the remote control to an iPhone?

First, enable Bluetooth on your iPhone, then open the VEVOR TELEPROMPTER app. Turn on the remote by pressing and holding the power button until the LED indicator lights up. Pairing occurs automatically, and the connection appears under the name VEVOR-xx.

What to do if the remote control does not connect to my Android phone?

Check the location permission on your phone (it must be enabled for Bluetooth). Ensure the remote is not already connected to another device. Restart the remote and the app, then try again.

How to use the VEVOR TELEPROMPTER app?

After installation, open the app and tap + to create a new script. You can enter text manually or import a file. Use the icons at the bottom to adjust font, speed, mirror, etc.

How to adjust the text scroll speed?

In the reading interface, tap the screen to display the menu. Use the speed icon to slow down or speed up scrolling as needed.

How to activate mirror mode for shooting?

Tap the mirror icon in the functions menu during playback. This will horizontally flip the text so that the camera captures the correct image.

How to delete a file in the app?

In the file list, swipe left on the file name and then tap Delete to remove it.

What to do if the remote does not control the Android app?

Close all other background apps. Disable Bluetooth on nearby phones to avoid interference. Make sure to connect via the app, not through the phone's Bluetooth settings.

How to change the font size in the teleprompter?

During playback, tap the font adjustment icon in the menu. Use the sliders to adjust size, word spacing, and text color.

The remote turns off automatically: is this normal?

Yes, to save battery, the remote turns off after 5 minutes without connection, or after 30 minutes if connected to a phone. Press and hold the power button to turn it back on.

How to organize my scripts in the app?

Use the Folder Management function to create folders and organize your files. You can also use All to manage all scripts.

APP INSTRUCTION

After installing the app and entering it,

Tap "+" to enter the Edit dialogue.

You can edit the title and content directly, or click "open" to import text from your phone, then click save.

Click "whole" to manage all files.

Click "Folder Management" to create new folders or delete existing ones.

After saving, click the text to enter the play interface.

You can also tap the icon to edit the text or tap the icon to manage the file.

Remote Use Instruction

1. Power on: Keep pressing the power button until the light turns on (about 2 seconds).
2. Power off: Keep pressing the power button until the light turns off (about 5 seconds).

Notice: If powered on without connecting anything, it will power off after 5 minutes. If connected to the phone, it will power off after 30 minutes.

3. iOS Connection

Turn on the Bluetooth of the phone first, then turn on the APP, and power the remote controller last. LED lights on, auto into pairing mode, allowing the Bluetooth pair. The APP will show automatically connected to VEVOR-xx, the connection is successful.

What can I do if my iPhone cannot connect with the remote controller?

Please go to Bluetooth connection of your phone, check if the remote control had been connected by iPhone.

Then follow the steps below to reconnect: 1) Disconnect iPhone Bluetooth and switch off the remote controller; 2) Turn on iPhone Bluetooth, open the app, and switch on the remote controller.

4. Android Connection

After power on, the LED light turns on and the device automatically enters pairing mode. Turn on the Bluetooth on the phone, then open the app, and the Bluetooth connection will be shown automatically.

FAQ

FAQ: The remote controller cannot connect to the Android phone. How can I fix this?

1. Please check the Location Permission on your phone; the connection requires this permission.
2. Please check if the remote controller has already been connected to your phone.
3. Please check if there is a Bluetooth signal from the remote controller (use another app to detect the Bluetooth).
4. Reboot the remote controller and reopen the app.

FAQ: The remote controller has been connected to my Android phone, but it is not controlling the app.

1. Please close other apps running in the background on your phone.
2. Please turn off Bluetooth on other phones at the worksite to ensure that the Android phone is the only device connected to the remote controller.
3. Please make sure that every time you connect to your phone, you do so through the settings on your phone.
