How to assemble the LB-28A trap?

Assembly requires following the manual steps: wear gloves, place the cage upside down, attach the back plate with the metal rod, install the trap spring, place the bait behind the bait plate, and adjust the adjustment hook. See the manual for detailed diagrams.

What type of bait to use?

Use attractive baits for the target animal, such as pet food (e.g., fruits, vegetables, meat, peanut butter). Place the bait behind the bait plate to trigger the mechanism.

How to install the trap correctly?

Install the trap on a flat, hard, stable surface. Open the door, arm the mechanism by connecting the adjustment hook to the door. Ensure the door closes easily. Leave the trap in place for at least 7 days before moving it.

Is the trap safe for captured animals?

Yes, it is a live capture trap designed not to harm the animal. The cage is metal but without sharp edges. Check the trap regularly to quickly release the captured animal.

How to clean and maintain the trap?

Clean the cage with water and mild detergent after each use. Dry it completely to prevent rust. Store in a dry place. Inspect the ties and springs before each use.

Can I use the trap outdoors in all weather?

Yes, the trap is made of steel and weather-resistant. However, avoid prolonged exposure to moisture to prevent rust. Use the cable ties to reinforce the back door.

How to transport the trap?

Use the carrying handles located on top of the cage. Make sure the door is locked before lifting. Two people may be needed for safety.

What if the door does not close properly?

Check that the trigger mechanism is properly installed: the adjustment hook should be under the bush (or plate) of the door, and the metal rod should be securely attached. Adjust if necessary.

What are the exact dimensions of the LB-28A trap?

Assembly Instructions

Notice:

1. When installing, please wear gloves and be careful where you touch (pull rod, etc.) to avoid being hurt.
2. Use nylon cable ties to reinforce the back door where the wild animal may be more likely.

Use scissors to cut the cable.

Flip the cage over to the right has side and then lift the cage up.

Slide the metal rod towards the bottom of the bait plate and then the rod around the clip. Setting up back is now complete

Turn the cage around so you are facing the front of the cage.

Lift the trap door spring and push towards the bait plate. Now is the time to the baits behind the bait plate Secure the metal rod using the metal folding already attached to the cage.
