How to assemble the LB-18 trap?

Follow the steps in the manual: wear gloves, assemble the cage by turning the base over, insert the metal rod, attach the bait plate and spring. Tighten the cable ties at the indicated locations. Incorrect assembly can cause injuries.

What animals can be captured with this trap?

The trap is designed for wild animals of medium size such as raccoons, opossums, or stray cats. Check local regulations before use.

How to install the bait in the trap?

Place the bait behind the bait plate inside the cage. Secure the metal rod using the folding attachments already in place to hold the bait in position.

Where to place the trap for effective capture?

Install the trap on a flat, hard, and stable surface, sheltered from the weather. Leave it in place for at least 7 days before moving to acclimate the animals.

How to transport the trap?

Use the carrying handles located on top of the cage. Make sure the door is locked and the captured animal cannot escape.

How to clean the trap after use?

Clean with soapy water and dry thoroughly to avoid rust. Disinfect if necessary. Store in a dry place.

What safety precautions should be followed?

Never sit on the cage and do not let children play nearby. Wear safety glasses and gloves during assembly. Inspect before each use.

What to do if the trap does not close properly?

Check that the adjustment hook is properly in place under the trapdoor and that the spring is correctly tensioned. Refer to diagram 14 in the manual.

4. Keep bystanders out of the area during assembly.
5. Do not assemble when tired or when under the influence of alcohol, drugs medication.

7. Assemble on a flat, level, hard and smooth surface capable of safely support a fully loaded animal trap.

Assembly Instructions

Notice:

1. When installing, please wear gloves and be careful where you touch (pull rod, etc.) to avoid being hurt.
2. Use nylon cable ties to reinforce the back door where the wild animal may be more likely.

Use scissors to cut the cable.

Flip the cage over to the right has side and then lift the cage up.

Slide the metal rod towards the bottom of the bait plate and then the rod around the clip. Setting up back is now complete

Turn the cage around so you are facing the front of the cage.

Lift the trap door spring and push towards the bait plate. Now is the time to the baits behind the bait plate Secure the metal rod using the metal folding already attached to the cage.

Hold the trap door in an open position, set the trap by swinging the set beneath the bush on the trap door, and then lower the door to release onto the setting hook. The cage should look like diagram 14. Once set, should be left in position for at least 7 days before relocating.
