How to assemble the Aiwa MIKAN AJC-4000 juicer?

First assemble the two strainers (D and E) into one unit, then the two cones (B and C). Place the carafe (F) on the motor block (G) until it clicks, put the strainer on the carafe, then insert the cone into the strainer by pressing until it locks.

What is the maximum capacity of the carafe?

The carafe has a maximum capacity of 0.5 liters. Do not exceed this level to avoid overflow.

How long can I use the appliance continuously?

The operating cycle is a maximum of 15 seconds, followed by 15 seconds of rest. After 10 consecutive cycles, let the appliance cool for 30 minutes.

How to clean the parts of the juicer?

Unplug the appliance and wait for it to cool. Wash the removable parts (cones, strainers, carafe) in warm soapy water. Rinse and wipe dry. Do not put them in the dishwasher. Clean the motor base with a damp cloth, without immersing it.

Can I juice all types of citrus fruits?

Yes, the appliance is suitable for all citrus fruits (oranges, lemons, grapefruits, etc.). Use the large cone for large fruits and the small one for small ones.

What to do if the motor seems blocked?

Never apply excessive force on the cone. If the motor blocks, unplug the appliance and remove the accumulated pulp from the strainer. Clean the parts before using again.

How to adjust the amount of pulp in the juice?

Turn the adjustable strainer (D & E) to change the filtration fineness. The more you close it, the less pulp there will be.

Can the appliance be used unattended?

No, never leave the appliance unattended while it is running. Unplug it after each use.

What to do in case of malfunction?

Do not attempt to repair the appliance yourself. Contact an authorized service center for any repairs.

How to store the power cord?

After use, unplug the appliance and store the cord in its compartment under the base.

USE AND MAINTENANCE:

• Always fully extend the appliance's power cord before use.
• Do not use the appliance with improperly attached accessories.
• Do not use the appliance if it's on/off switch is malfunctioning.
• Avoid moving the appliance while it is in operation.
• Do not use the appliance in a tipped or overturned position.
• Do not overturn the appliance while it is operating or connected to power.
• Adhere to the maximum fill level indicator.
• This appliance is intended solely for domestic, not commercial, or industrial, use.
• Store the appliance out of reach of children and individuals with disabilities.
• Ignoring usage instructions or misuse of the appliance voids any warranty and manufacturer liability.
• Limit operation to cycles no longer than 1.5 minutes, with at least 15 seconds of rest between cycles. The appliance should not be operated longer than necessary.

USING YOUR JUICER

• Before the first use, make sure that all the product's packaging has been removed.
• Clean top Lid (A), Small and big cone (B & C), strainer and the adjustable stainer (D & E) and jug (F) with warm water.

PULP QUANTITY REGULATOR

• This appliance features an adjustable pulp control mechanism.
• You can adjust the amount of pulp by rotating the adjustable strainer (D & E)

USE:

• Ensure the power cord is fully extended before connecting it to a power source.
• Assembly the 2 strainer (D & E) in 1 unit.
• Assembly the big cone (B) and small cone (C) in 1 unit
• Position the jug (F) on top of the motor unit (G) until it clicks into place, then place the assembled strainer (D & E) on the jar, and finally, insert the assembled cone (B & C) into the strainer, pressing down until it locks in place. (Figure 1)
• Plug the device into an electrical outlet.
• Slice the citrus fruits you wish to juice into halves.
• Activate the juicer by pressing the halved fruit onto the juicing cone.

• Cease juicing by releasing pressure from the cone.
• To empty the jug, first remove the cone (B & C) and strainer (D & E).
• Pour the juice from the pitcher into your chosen serving container.
• Reminder: When juicing in bulk, periodically clean the filter and clear away the accumulated pulp.

Caution: Never exert excessive force when pressing the fruit to prevent from blocking and damaging motor.

Caution: The appliance shall be on 15s, off 15s, and after 10 consecutive cycles, the appliance must be cooled down for 30 minutes.

Note: The max capacity of the cup is 0.5L. Make sure do not overfill the cup.

AFTER USING THE APPLIANCE:

• Disconnect the appliance from the power source.
• Store the cord in its designated compartment.
• Proceed with cleaning the appliance.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

-Unplug the appliance and wait it completely cool down before clean.

-Strainer and the adjustable strainer (D & E), Big and small cone (B & C), jug (F). Clean them in hot, sudsy water. Then rinse under running water and wipe dry.

Caution:

• Never use metal polish for cleaning and do not put into dishwasher to clean.
• Wipe the rotating axis with a soft, damp cloth, never immersed the power base in water or other liquid.
• Assemble all parts together.

- If the appliance experiences any malfunctions, please seek help from an authorized service center. Avoid attempting to disassemble or fix it on your own, as it could pose a risk.
