Thank you for purchasing TEESA appliance. Please read this operation instruction carefully before use, and keep it for future use. Distributor does not take responsibility for damages caused by inappropriate handling and use of the product.

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

In order to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, or any other injury, follow basic safety precautions applied when using any electrical device, including the following:

1. Read this instruction manual carefully, even if you are familiar with the appliance. Keep the manual for future reference.

2. Before connecting the appliance to power supply socket, make sure the voltage indicated on the appliance corresponds to the voltage in the power supply socket.

3. The power mains socket must be located near to the device and be easily accessible.

4. Do not operate the appliance on a separate timer or a separate remote control system.

5. Product intended for household use only.

6. Product is suitable for indoor use only.

7. Clean and store this appliance in accordance to instructions listed in "Cleaning" and "Storage" section.

8. ALWAYS turn off the appliance and disconnect it from the mains supply:

• if it's not operating correctly,
- if there's an uncommon voice when using,
• before disassembling the device,
• before cleaning,
- when not in use.

1. When you disconnect the power cord of the appliance, grasp and pull the plug, not the cord/cable.

2. Place the appliance on a dry, flat and stable surface.

3. Do not place the appliance on a hot surface.

4. Never use the appliance if the coffee beans container is empty.

5. Before use, make sure that the lid is securely attached.

6. Do not move the appliance while it is operating.

7. Do not remove the lid during appliance operation.

8. Do not open the lid if the blade is still rotating.

9. The blade is very sharp. To prevent injuries, take special care when cleaning the appliance and when emptying the container.

10. Keep the appliance out of the reach of children.

11. This appliance may be used by children who are above 8 years old and by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, if they are supervised and guided by a person who is responsible for their safety in a cautious manner, and all the safety precautions are understood and followed. Children should not play with this device. Children should not perform cleaning and servicing of the device unsupervised.

12. Fixed power cable may only be replaced in an authorized service point.

13. Keep the appliance and its cord/cable away from heat, water, moisture, sharp edges and any other factor which may damage the appliance or its cord.

14. Make sure the power cord does not touch any hot or sharp elements.

15. Do not use the product for purposes different from displayed in this operating manual.

16. Do not place the appliance in water or any liquid; nor handle/use it with wet or moist hands.

17. Do not leave the appliance unattended when it's working.

18. Producer of this product is not responsible for damages caused by inappropriate handling and using of the appliance.

19. ALWAYS disconnect the product from the mains supply when it is not in use.

20. DO NOT use this appliance if the cord or the plug is damaged, or the appliance is broken

21. Do not attempt to repair this appliance yourself. Only authorized and qualified personnel may repair this appliance. Never disassemble this appliance.

22. Do not use unauthorized accessories.

OPERATION

1. After removing the appliance from the packaging, clean the coffee beans container and the lid to remove any production residue as described in the Cleaning section.
2. Make sure to place the appliance on a dry, flat and stable surface, away from water and heat sources.
3. Connect the plug of the power cord to the power supply socket.
4. Turn the lid anti-clockwise and remove it.
5. Fill the container with the required amount of coffee beans.

• Make sure to fill into the container only coffee beans.
• Make sure not to overfill the container.

1. Place the lid back on the container and twist it clockwise until you hear a characteristic click.

2. Press the Power button to activate coffee grinder and hold it down until the desired level of grinding is reached.

Notes:

• The coarseness of the ground coffee can be regulated by the grinding time. The longer you grind it, the finer it will be.

• 50 g of coffee beans should be ground within maximally 30 seconds.
  • Always prepare your coffee from freshly ground coffee. Coffee that is ground in advance loses its flavor and aroma.

• When grinding is finished, remove the lid and empty the container.

• Clean the appliance according to the instructions in Cleaning section.

Pulse operation

The coffee grinder has been designed for short-time operation only. Therefore, it should not be operated continuously for more than 30 seconds. Turn off the appliance and let it cool down for at least 1 minute before reuse.

CLEANING

• Unplug the appliance from power mains socket and make sure it has cooled down before cleaning.
  • The appliance should be cleaned after each use.
  • Never immerse the appliance in water!
• Clean the coffee beans container, lid and housing of the appliance with soft, slightly damp cloth.
• Do not use any abrasives or chemical agents to clean this device.
  • Make sure the appliance and its attachments are completely dry before reassembly and another use.

STORAGE

• Before storing make sure the appliance is clean and dry. Wind up the power cord into the storage area and close the lid so that the dust does not accumulate inside the coffee beans container.
• Store the appliance in a dry and cool place, out of the reach of children.
• It is recommended to store the device in the original packaging to preserve it from dust and humidity.
