Please read these instructions carefully before using the appliance and keep them in a safe place for future reference.

This coffee grinder is intended for domestic use only. Do not use the appliance for anything other than grinding coffee beans.
Before plugging in your appliance, ensure that the electrical voltage in your home is suitable for that indicated on the appliance's sign plate.

• Plug the appliance into an easily accessible power outlet.
• Never immerse the coffee grinder in water or any other liquid. Never put the appliance in the dishwasher.
• Persons whose physical, sensory or mental capabilities are impaired or whose experience or knowledge is insufficient may use the appliance, provided they are supervised or instructed on how to use it safely, and provided they understand the potential dangers of doing so.
  This appliance must not be used by children. Keep the appliance and cable out of reach of children.
  • The appliance must not be cleaned or maintained by children unless they supervised.
  Children should not use the appliance as a toy.

• WARNING: Risk of injury if misused.

• Do not use the coffee grinder with wet hands.

• Do not use this appliance outdoors and always store it in a dry location.
• When unplugging the power cord, always pull it out at the plug and never pull on the cord itself.
• Do not let the power cord hang over the edge of a table or worktop, and do not allow it to come into contact with hot surfaces.
• Keep the coffee grinder away from sources of heat, water, damp and frost.
  Do not use this appliance:
• if the power cord or plug are damaged,
• in the event of a malfunction,

• if the appliance has been damaged in any way.
  Take the appliance to the retail store service desk. Never attempt to repair the coffee grinder yourself.

• For safety reasons, if the power cord is damaged, you must get it replaced by your retailer, retail store service department or a similarly qualified person.

• Never use the coffee grinder continuously for more than 30 seconds. Wait at least a minute between uses.
• Do not remove the detachable transparent cover while the blades are spinning.
• Do not overfill the appliance. Proceed in stages.
• Do not run the appliance if empty (without coffee beans inside it).
• Turn off and unplug the appliance before leaving it unattended and before assembling, disassembling and cleaning it.
  Turn off the appliance and unplug it from the mains before changing the accessories or going anywhere

near the parts that move when the grinder is operating.

using the grinder

1. Before use, make sure that the grinder is empty and clean. Wipe the chamber with a soft, dry cloth.
2. Do not overfill the appliance (maximum capacity: 50 g) and always proceeding stages. Do not fill the grinder above the sides of the appliance.
3. Before you start to grind the beans, attach the transparent cover (2) to the motor unit (1) and make sure that it is closed properly.

4. Press the on/off button (3) to turn the appliance on. Release the on/off button to turn it off.

5. We recommend pressing the on/off button in successive bursts and gently shaking the coffee grinder so that all the coffee beans are ground uniformly and the ground coffee does not stick to the bottom of the chamber.

6. Never use the coffee grinder continuously for more than 30 seconds. Allow the coffee grinder to cool down for at least 1 minute between uses.

7. Always unplug the appliance from the mains after use.

8. Undo the lid and remove the ground coffee.

• To preserve the flavour of your coffee, we recommend that you grind it immediately before you brew it.

cleaning

• Always unplug the appliance from the mains before cleaning.
- Never immerse the motor unit in water or any other liquid.

• Clean the body of the appliance (motor unit) with a soft cloth that has been dampened with water and a gentle detergent (if necessary). Make sure that no water gets inside the motor unit.
• Do not use abrasive cleaners as they can damage the surfaces of the appliance.
• The transparent lid can be cleaned with a soft cloth and warm soapy water. Do put the appliance in the dishwasher.
• Clean the grinding chamber with a small soft brush to remove any remaining ground coffee, paying particular attention to the area between the blades and the motor spindle.

Take care not to cut yourself on the blades.
