Intended Use

  • This appliance has been designed for space heating and is intended for domestic or similar use. It should not be used for any other purpose.
  • This appliance is not suitable for use in a damp environment such as a bathroom.
  • Do not install near a bathtub, shower, washbasin or swimming pool.
  • This appliance is intended for private domestic use only and is not suitable for commercial or professional use.
  • Do not use this appliance for any purpose other than that for which it was designed.

Children of less than 3 years should be kept away unless continuously supervised.

- Children aged from 3 years and less than 8 years shall only switch on/off the appliance provided that it has been placed or installed in its intended normal operating position and they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children aged from 3 years and less than 8 years shall not plug in, regulate and clean the appliance or perform user maintenance.

- This appliance may be used by children ages 8 and up, and by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children must not play with this appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance should not be carried out by children without adult supervision.

Mounting the legs

Caution: The appliance must be unplugged from the power output before it can be installed. Keep all plastic bags out of the reach of children or animals.

  1. Remove the appliance and the individual parts from the packaging. Note: Before using your convection heater for the first time, you must assemble the two supplied feet.
  2. Place the convector on a flat, level surface.
  3. Turn the appliance upside down.
  4. Place and secure each leg with the screws provided (an installation wrench is provided for this purpose) on each side of the appliance.
  5. Turn the appliance right side up.
  6. Your appliance is stable and ready for use.

Notes:

  • You should never use your convection heater if the legs have not been assembled.
  • Unplug the appliance from the mains after each use.

First-time use

When use for the first time, your appliance may emit a slight odor. This is normal. Therefore, allow for sufficient ventilation. This smell is temporary and will fade quickly.

Power levels

The power levels are indicated by the symbols "I" and "II".

  • To set the output power to 1,250 W, put the selector switch on the "I" symbol.
  • To set the output power to 2,000 W, put the selector switch on the "II" symbol.
  • To set the output power to 1,250 W with turbo function, put the selector switch on the "I" symbol.
  • To set the output power to 2,000 W with turbo function, put the selector switch on the "II" symbol.
  • To switch off the mobile convection heater, set the selector switch to the "0" symbol.

MAX Maximum temperature.

  • The temperature can be adjusted with the thermostat.
  • Turn the thermostat knob to the maximum temperature < MAX >.

Use

  1. Place the appliance on a flat, stable and dry surface.
    NOTE: Do not move, tilt and/or tip the appliance during operation.
  2. The power control switch should be in the "O" position.
  3. Unwind the power cord completely.
  4. Plug the power cord into an electrical outlet.
  5. Select one out of the 4 positions on the power selector to start the heater.
  6. Set the desired temperature by turning the thermostat control knob.
  7. To turn off the appliance, return the 2 selector switches to their initial positions ("O" and "") then unplug the appliance.

cleaning

  • IMPORTANT: Always disconnect the power source before cleaning or servicing the appliance.
  • WARNING: Allow the appliance to cool completely before handling and cleaning it.
  • Warning: Never use detergents, chemicals or solvents as they may damage the plastic parts.
    • To avoid any risk of fire and/or electric shock, do not spill water or any other liquid into the appliance.
  • Use a soft, dry cloth to remove dust and clean the outer surfaces of the appliance.
  • For a thorough cleaning, you may use a soft cloth slightly moistened with water and a mild detergent (such as washing-up liquid). Then dry thoroughly with a soft cloth before restarting the appliance.
  • Clean the ventilation grilles of the appliance regularly.
  • Make sure that no water enters the appliance through the ventilation grilles.
