CAREFULLY READ THESE INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE USING YOUR CURLING IRON AND KEEP THEM FOR FUTURE REFERENCE.

CAUTION: Never use this appliance over or in the vicinity of water (bathtubs, washbasins, shower or any other container containing water). If the appliance falls into water, do not try to retrieve it. Unplug it immediately.

• This appliance is intended for household use only. Any other use (professional) is excluded.
• Do not use outdoors.
• Only use the appliance as described in this manual.
• Before plugging in your appliance, make sure that the voltage of your home matches that indicated on the appliance rating plate.

- This appliance can be used by children aged eight and above and by people who may lack experience and knowledge or whose physical, sensory or mental capacities are reduced, as long as they have been trained and supervised in the safe use of the appliance and know the risks involved. Children must not play with the appliance. Cleaning and maintenance must not be carried out by children unless they are over the age of eight and are supervised by an adult.

- Keep the appliance and its power cord out of the reach of children under the age of eight.

- Make sure the appliance is completely dry before using it.

- BURN HAZARDS! During use, avoid all skin contact with the hot metal parts of the appliance, especially around the ears, face and neck.

- Always plug your curling iron into an easily accessible power outlet.

• When using the curling iron in the bathroom, make sure to unplug it after use because being in the vicinity of water can be dangerous even when the curling iron is off.
• To provide additional protection, it is recommended to secure the electrical circuit supplying power to the bathroom with a residual current device not exceeding 30 mA. Ask your electrician for advice.
• If the power cable is damaged, it can be replaced by your retailer, their after-sales service department or a similarly qualified person, in order to prevent any kind of risk.
• Never leave the appliance unattended when in use.

• Do not use this appliance:

• If the plug or power cord is damaged,

• In case of malfunction,
• If it has fallen into water.

• Take it to an after-sales service centre for inspection and repair. Repairs cannot be carried out by the user.

• Do not handle the appliance or the plug with wet hands.
• Unwind the power cord completely before using the appliance (this will prevent overheating).
• Never immerse the appliance, power cord or plug in water or any other liquid.
• Always unplug your appliance when not in use and before cleaning.
• When you unplug the power cord, always pull it at the plug. Do not pull on the cord itself.
• Make sure that the power cord cannot be accidentally caught on anything, to prevent the appliance from falling.
• Never put the appliance on top of its power cord and make sure that the cord does not come into contact with hot surfaces.
• Always use the appliance on untangled, clean and dry hair. Do not use on hair extensions.

use

Important:

• The curling iron heats quickly. We advise you to turn it on only when you are ready to use it.
• Do not apply hairspray or other chemical hair care products before using the appliance, as these are slightly flammable.

• When you first use the appliance, you may find it has an unusual smell: this is common and will disappear the next time you use it.

• Brush through your hair, which should be washed and dried.

• Plug in the appliance and switch it on by pressing the ON/OFF switch to the "ON" position. The LCD monitor will turn on and 150° will flash.
• Press the + or - buttons to select the temperature depending on your hair type:

130°C - 140°C - 150°C Fine, bleached and/or damaged hair

160°C - 170°C - 180°C Normal or coloured hair

190°C - 200°C Thick hair

1. Press the TIME button and select the duration of the heating cycle depending on the look you are going for. For loose curls, choose the minimum duration (5s). For tighter curls, choose the maximum duration (10s).

1. Press on the + or - buttons for 2 seconds to lock the selected temperature and time. To unlock and change the temperature or duration, hold down the + or - buttons for 2 seconds.

2. When the temperature on the display stops flashing, the appliance is ready for use.

3. With a comb, separate your hair into sections about 4cm wide. Do not put too much hair in the iron.

4. Wrap the sections round the appliance one by one, pinching the tip of the section to roll it to the desired length.

5. Press the button to start the heating cycle: you will hear a beep at the beginning of the cycle. Two beeps mark the end of the cycle.

6. During the heating cycle, use the lever to hold your hair in place for a few seconds before unwinding. Once the heating cycle is complete, press the lever to open and release the hair. The curling tongs are easier to handle if you hold them with the other hand using the heat-resistant tip.

1. If you need to put the curling iron down for a few moments or let the iron cool down after use, unfold the iron stand. You can also put the iron on the heat-resistant pouch.

Please note: You can even straighten an already curly section by pinching it at the root again and sliding the wand gently and carefully to the end of the hair.

1. After use, put the ON/OFF switch into the "OFF" position. The appliance's screen then turns off. Unplug the appliance and allow it to cool completely before storing it in its heat-resistant pouch.

2. If the appliance is switched on continuously for more than 60 minutes without pressing the TIME or "+ -" buttons, it will automatically switch off.

cleaning and maintenance

- Important: unplug the appliance and allow it to cool completely on a heat-resistant surface before cleaning.

- Do not immerse the curling iron or its power cord in water or any other liquid.

• Never use alcohol to clean the appliance.
- Regularly clean the main body of the appliance as well as the plates using a soft, slightly damp cloth and then dry with a soft, dry cloth.
- Do not allow the power cord to become twisted, and do not pull, bend, or wrap it around the curling iron.
