Before You Begin
□ Observe all local plumbing and building codes.
□ Shut off the main water supply.
☐ For roughing-in specifications, please refer to the faucet manufacturer's installation instructions.
☐ Kohler Co. reserves the right to make revisions in the design of products without notice, as specified in the Price Book.

Shower Ell Wall Flange Shower Arm Apply plumbers putty. Setscrew Adapter (Not Provided) Showerhead (Not Provided)1. Install the Shower Arm
NOTE: The showerhead with adapter are not provided.
□ Remove the temporary nipple from the shower ell.
□ Apply a bead of plumbers putty or other sealant to the back of the wall flange according to the manufacturer's instructions.
☐ Place the wall flange onto the long end of the shower arm just below the threads, as illustrated.
□ Apply thread sealant tape to the threads of each end of the shower arm.
□ Place the shower arm in the shower ell.
□ Carefully tighten the shower arm to the shower ell with a clean strap wrench.
□ Press the wall flange against the finished wall.
☐ Secure the flange to the shower arm by tightening the setscrew.
□ Remove any excess putty.
☐ Turn on the water and allow water to flow through the shower arm to flush the system of any debris.
□ Turn off the water.
☐ Thread the adapter (not provided) onto the showerhead until hand-tight.
□ Hand tighten the showerhead (not provided) to the shower arm.
Install the Shower Arm (cont.)
☐ Use a clean strap wrench to completely tighten the showerhead to the shower arm.
□ Check for proper operation.
