2. SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE USER

I. Restrictions

• Never immerse the Retro radio or the charging cable-in water or any other liquid. In the event of the Retro radio falling in water take it to an authorized service agent for repair before reusing.
• Do not place or operate the Retro radio on or near hot surfaces (e.g., stove plates) or open flames. In case of hardware problems, do not attempt to repair the product yourself. Repairs should only be carried out by qualified technicians.
• Never use accessories that are not recommended by the manufacturer.
• The use of accessories not recommended or sold by the appliance manufacturer may result in fire, electric shock or irreparable damage to the product.
• Do not use the radio for any other purpose than described in this manual.
• Do not leave the radio charging longer than recommended by the manufacturer, as this may damage the battery or the radio itself.
• Do not use the radio while in charge,

otherwise it may also damage the radio.

• Do not drop, disassemble, deform, modify or insert any objects into this product as operating damage may result.
• Do not attempt to repair, modify or disassemble the product yourself. This product does not contain any user-serviceable components and may void the warranty.
• Do not clean the product with alcohol, ammonia based cleaners and abrasive cleaners.
• Do not place this product in to contact with any sharp objects as this may cause scratches and operating damage.
• Do not attempt to replace the product battery, it is built-in and is not user changeable.
• Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
• Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children.

II. Precautions while during the usage of product

• Keep the radio away from direct sun-light, fire, or other high voltage equipment.
• WARNING: the device might get warm during charging. Always ensure the radio is turned off when you plug and unplug the device. If the device is not turned off you might damage the radio or injure yourself.

• Observe all signs and displays that require an electrical device or RF radio product to be switch off in designated areas.

• Dispose of the product and the product's battery in accordance with local laws and regulations.

• In case of radio malfunction, or if it has been damaged in any manner, return it to the nearest authorized service facility for examination, repair or adjustment.

1. Power button: This button is located on the back part of retro radio. With the help of this button, we can turn on the radio and play the music and by pressing the same button device can be turned off.

2. Type C charging port: This radio is provided with type C charging port, insert the type c connector of charging cable (provided with the unit) to charge the radio.

3. Charging indicator: This radio has the charging indicator. When we connect the device with charging cable and other side with the wall outlet with the help of charging adaptor, the charging indicator turns on and stays illuminated in red colour and once the battery gets fully charged it turns off.

4. USB port: with the help of USB port, we can connect any USB drive which contains music and listen.

5. Auxiliary jack: With the help of Auxiliar cable can connect any devise like MP4, Radios or any other devise and enjoy the content.

6. Mode: With the help of this button, we can change the working mode of retro radio, apparently this radio is provided with multiple Connection modes like Bluetooth connection, Aux Cable, USB and FM Radio.

7. Previous track: In USB mode / Bluetooth mode, we can change from one track to the previous track. In order to do so we need to keep pressing same button, until we reach our desired song.

8. Play / Pause: After turning on the device, choose in between USB / Bluetooth / Auxiliary cable mode. Once we have chosen the mode, we can play and pause the music anytime.

9. Next track: In USB mode / Bluetooth mode, we can change the track to next track. In order to do so we need to keep pressing same button, until we reach our desired song.
10. FM frequency dial: With the help of this dial, we can tune into the FM station as per our desire.
11. BT / Auxiliary indicator: This indicator light stays turned on in Bluetooth / Auxiliary mode. In Bluetooth mode, blue light keep flashing quickly while in Auxiliary mode the same blue light flashes slowly. When the unit is in auxiliary mode and plays music, the indicator light turns into red colour and keep flashing slowly.
12. Volume knob: With the help of this button, we can increase and decrease the volume of device.
13. FM / USB indicator light: this light turns on in FM and USB connection mode. In USB mode, this indicator light keeps flashing slowly in blue colour and on the other side in FM mode, this indicator light turns on in constant red colour.

6. Multiple connection modes:

Radio function mode:

To bring the unit in radio function mode, simply turn on the radio by pressing power button and device automatically enters into the radio mode. Once the device enters into radio mode, we can choose the FM stations with the help of FM frequency dial and enjoy the music.

Note: Radio function mode is default function of this device.

Bluetooth function mode

1) Power control: Press the power button (1) to turn on the radio. A sound will be heard indicating device is on.
2) Press the mode button and select Bluetooth mode among multiple modes of connections.
3) Turn on the BT function of your external BT device, then search on it for the Bluetooth device with the name "SOGO SS-863540" and choose it to pair and connect. In case if your device connects to the Bluetooth and you are being asked for password by the external device, enter the password "0000" and finally your external device connected to the retro radio. After a successful pairing, a tone will be heard. 4) Now with the help of External BT device you can play any kind of music through the retro radio.

USB mode

Insert USB drive to USB port (4) to play music stored on the drive, In USB mode the retro radio will play music automatically.

Auxiliary cable mode

With the help of Auxiliar cable can connect any devise like MP4, Radios or any other devise and enjoy the content.

Aux-In / Line-In

With the help of Aux-In input we can connect all the musical devices such as Radios, Laptops,

Televisions, and all the devices, which doesn't have Bluetooth connection function.

To connect the devices, you need an audio cable and connect the one end to the radio Aux-in and other side to the device which needed to connect and automatically device will connect with the radio.

Aux-In mode is automatic and one you insert the auxiliar cable, radio automatically enters into the mode.

With the help of device, you can play the music and songs.

NOTE: In this mode all the functions, controlled by the external device, but still Play / pause button can be used.

7. Charging instructions:

How to charge Retro radio:

This unit has been provided with an USB - Type C charging cable, to charge the radio connect the radio with charging adaptor and plug in to the wall outlet. You can use any charging adaptor including which you use to charge your mobile phone.

When the device is completely discharged, a sound can be heard as low power indication which indicates that device need to charge.

Insert type C connector of USB charging cable into the charging port (2) on the back of the retro radio. Insert the USB charging connector of charging cable into the USB port on a computer, USB charging device or 5V USB adapter (Not Included) and plug into a wall outlet.

The charging indicator (3) will turn red, while radio is in charging mode and the light will goes out once it charges completely.

Note:

1. This unit is not included USB charging adaptor, but any USB charging adaptor can be used including your common mobile phone charging adaptor.

2. To increase the battery life and smooth working, it is recommended to charge fully.

8. Cleaning and maintenance

While cleaning the product, just use soft or dry cloth and in case of severe stains use the damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners, as it can damage the paint, plastic or even the radio itself.

Keep it away from sun light and do not keep it in hot and humid atmosphere.

Make sure to remove the power adaptor cable and keep it in cool and dry place.

9. Disposal of electronic goods

DISPOSAL OF BATTERY-OPERATED UNITS

Do not dispose the battery-operated units as normal rubbish, always these should be recycled in proper manner and according to the local municipal laws. You can recycle them by taking them to government authorized disposal centres or specialized bins which you can find in any nearby big super markets, electronics or electro domestics products stores or malls who have these types of facilities available.
