PRODUCT INTRODUCTION

Features and Purpose:

Thank you for choosing our Garment Steamer. The device is a kind of strong steam ironing machine with cleaning function as a supplement. It is elegant in design, simple, economical and safe, especially applicable for household, garment, wedding dress, curtain, sofa, hotel, restaurant, etc. The machine irons especially well the pure silk, woolens, chemical fiber, cotton and blending textiles, flattens them fast without damage and also sterilizes and cleans them. However, it only asks easy maintenance and repair.

1. Thermostat

The thermostat would keep the temperature at a rated value by means of the control current when the tank is short of water.

2. Hot fuse

In case the thermostat damages or fails, the hot fuse of protective device gives protection by cutting off the power supply of machine body when the machine reaches a certain temperature.

3. Safety instructions for the user

GENERAL PRECAUTIONS General precautions during the use of electrical equipment

  • Do not use the appliance for any other purpose than described in this manual.
  • Do not use or store the appliance outdoors.
    • Always place the appliance on to the flat and even surface.
  • This product is intended for indoor, non-industrial, non-commercial and only for household use. Do not use the item outdoors or for any other purpose. Misuse or improper handling may cause problems in the appliance and cause injury to the user.
  • The unit must be used only for the intended purposes. No liability is accepted for damages arising from improper use or wrong handling.
  • Ensure that the voltage indicated on the nameplate matches the mains voltage before plugging in the appliance.
    • Always remove the plug from the power socket when the appliance is not in use. Do not leave the appliance unattended when

switched on.

  • Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is being used by or near children.
  • Before cleaning or storing your appliance, always unplug the appliance from the power supply and let it cool down.
  • The device is not completely disconnected from the power source, even after it has been turned off. To disconnect it completely, disconnect it from the mains plug.
  • The appliances are not intended to be operated by means of an external timer or separate remote-control system.

II. △ Restrictions on use to avoid personal injury

  • Do not let the appliance operate unattended.
  • Do not place or operate this appliance near water sources.
  • Do not place or operate the appliance and its power cord on or near hot surfaces (e.g., stove plates) or open flames.
  • Do not leave the power cord hanging from sharp edges and keep away from hot objects and flames. Do not wind the cord around the appliance and do not bend it.
  • Never use accessories that are not recommended by the manufacturer.
  • The use of accessories not recommended or sold by the appliance manufacturer may result in fire, electric shock or injury to persons.
  • When you want to remove the plug from the wall contact, please do this at the plug itself and not by pulling on the cable or the

  • To avoid electric shock, make sure your hands are dry before plugging or unplugging.
  • Do not use the device with wet hands, on damp floors or when the atmosphere is humid, there is a risk of electric shock.
  • While using the appliance, make sure that the power cord must not be caught or crushed.
  • Do not let the motor unit, cord or plug get wet to protect against risk of electric shock.
  • Be careful, while handling electrical appliances, as the surface of the heating element is subject to residual heat after use. Any misuse may cause potential injury to the user and may damage the appliance.
  • Do not touch the outer surface of the appliance as it can get very hot during operation.

III. ▲Product use restrictions due to poor condition or breakdown

  • Never immerse the appliance or the plug-in water or any other liquid. In the event of the appliance falling in water, disconnect immediately from the mains supply and take it to an authorized service agent for repair before reusing.
  • Do not use the appliance if it has fallen on the floor, if there are visible signs of damage or if it has a leak.
  • Do not use the appliance if the cable or plug is damaged. In case of the cord be damaged, it must be replaced only by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid Hazard.

  • In case of appliance malfunction, or if it has been damaged in any manner, return the appliance to the nearest authorized service facility for examination, repair or adjustment.

  • In case of hardware problems, do not attempt to repair the product yourself. Repairs should only be carried out by qualified technicians.

  • Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children less than 8 years.

V. IMPORTANT WARNING

  • To avoid a circuit overload when using this product, do not operate another high-wattage product on the same electrical circuit.
  • 'A short power supply cord is provided with this

product. An extension cord is not recommended for use with this product, but if one must be used:

  • The marked electrical rating of the cord must be at least as great as that of the product.
  • Arrange the extension cord so that it does not hang where it can be tripped over or pulled unintentionally.

VI. Instructions to follow while using the device

  • Make sure the working voltage of the machine accords with your domestic supply voltage and the machine is connected to power supply mounted with 30mA creepage protection switch. Only the firmly grounded 3-pole socket is applicable for the machine.
  • The iron should always be turned to “min”, before plugging or unplugging from outlet. Never yank cord to disconnect from outlet; instead, grasp plug and pull to disconnect.
  • Do not allow cord to touch hot surfaces.

  • When placing the iron on its stand, ensure that the surface on which the stand is placed is stable.

  • DO NOT let children or untrained persons use the appliance without supervision.
    • DO NOT leave the hot iron touching fabrics or very inflammable surfaces.
  • DO NOT leave the appliance unnecessarily plugged in. Disconnect the plug from the mains when the appliance is not being used.

  • DO NOT leave the iron without supervision when it is connected to the power supply.

6. INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

How to use the Steam station

a) Place the device on a stable and heat-resistant surface.
b) Twist off the tank and fill it with the water
c) You can use tap water or demineralized water. The water tank capacity is 1.7 liters.
d) Place back the steam station base on its original position.
e) Insert the plug in the wall outlet and turn on switch.

Note: During the whole operation time, the iron operating light indicator will go on and off in erratic intervals, this is normal.

f) Adjust the temperature dial in terms of choose the kind of fabrics that you want to iron.

Note: If you want to use the steam ironing, we suggest you to adjust the temperature dial on MAX.

g) To make the steam jet come out, press the steam button.

If the steam stops coming out, this is probably because there is no more water in the tank. In order to continue ironing, refill the water tank and start using it again.

CLEANING MODE FUNCTION:

(A large amount of sewage will be discharged from the steam hole of the soleplate during cleaning, please make relevant preparations in advance).

The steam station has Automatic reminder of unit entering into cleaning mode reminder and active cleaning mode respectively.

This smart reminder cleaning mode refers to the user, after accumulative use of steam ironing of 25 hours. Once unit passes 25 hours ironing, cleaning indicator light turns on, which reminds users, need of cleaning the machine. In order to clean the iron press cleaning button for 3 seconds, until cleaning light start flashing, at this time press the steam button and Iron will go into cleaning mode and from the soleplate steam holes discharge sewage starts.

There is one another cleaning mode, which is known as active cleaning mode. Active cleaning mode refers to that when the power switch is on, long press the cleaning button for 3 seconds until the cleaning light flashes, and then adjust the thermostat knob on the iron to the cleaning gear. At this time, press the steam button, Iron will go into cleaning mode and from the soleplate steam holes discharge sewage starts.

The cleaning time will last for 1 minute, and the cleaning mode will end when the cleaning light is off. If you need to exit the cleaning mode, please press the cleaning button for 3 seconds until the light turns off.

STEAM BOOST FUNCTION:

The steam boost function can be activated for simple and easy ironing.

Set the temperature dial to MAX position and click twice on steam button and unit enters into the steam burst function model. Bursts of steam allows you to speed up and improve ironing, even on heavy fabrics, and also it helps in removing the most difficult creases.

If you wish to repeatedly activate the steam bursts, we recommend you wait until the iron returns to maximum temperature.

AUTO OFF FUNCTION:

The iron has an auto-off safety function. In this function when the iron has not been used for 5 mins. The unit will enter into sleep mode and all the lights will turn off. To restart the iron again simply pull the steam button and the unit will restart. It might need little bit of time to reheat the iron to desired temperature, which will be indicated by the pressing temperature indicator light 2.

HOW TO IRON STEAMING FABRICS:

Follow the process from (a) to (f) of "HOW TO USE STEAM STATION".

Place the iron vertically at a minimum distance of 20-30cm from curtains or fabrics, and press the steam button, then steam the fabrics describing round figures.

Note: make sure to choose the correct temperature for certain type of fabrics.

DRY IRONING (WITHOUT STEAM) :

a) Place the device on a stable and heat-resistant surface
b) Adjust the temperature dial in terms of the kind of fabrics that you want to iron.
c) Press the power switch, the soleplate begins to heat, and the temperature indicator light shows in the form of breathing light.
d) When the iron operating light indicator goes on, the iron will be ready for use

7. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

  1. After unplugging the device from the wall outlet, let it completely cool down and then clean it with a damp cloth.
  2. Don't use any detergents, but only a soft cloth dampened with lukewarm water. Replace the iron vertically in a dry and clean place.
  3. As hard water by its nature contains limestone, which may cause a build up of limescales in the tank. So we recommend to use the vinegar solution to clean the water tank.
  4. To prepare the vinegar solution, fill the water tank with 75% water and 25% vinegar.
  5. Do not use solvents or abrasive detergents, which might harm the iron body.
