- This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in asafeway and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the

Leavingclothesthathasbeendriedintheapplianceunattended couldresultinfire.Clothesnotremovedfromtheapplianceafter dryingcouldresultinfire.Removeclothesimmediatelyafterdrying, andthenhangorlaytheclothesflattocool.

In the appliance enclosure or in the built-in structure, keep ventilation openings clear of obstruction. If not, it can result in a fire.

This appliance contains R290, are refrigerant that is environmentally friendly but flammable. Donot damage there refrigerant circuit, keep open flame and ignition sources away from the appliance.

Therecommendedmaximumcapacityforeachprogrammemaydiffer. Togetgoodwashanddryresults, pleaserefertoProgrammeTablein theOPERATIONchapteroftheOwner'sManualforfurtherdetails.

Installation

- Neverattempttooperatetheapplianceifitisdamaged, malfunctioning, partiallydisassembled,orhasmissingorbroken parts,includingadamagedcordorplug.

• Thisapplianceshouldonlybetransportedbytwoormorepeople holdingtheappliancesecurely.
• Donotinstalltheapplianceinadampanddustyplace.Donotinstall orstoretheapplianceinanyoutdoorarea,oranyareathatissubject toweatheringconditionssuchasdirectsunlight,wind,rain,or temperaturesbelowfreezing.
• Makesurethepowerplugiscompletelypushedintothepower outlet.
• Donotplugtheapplianceintomultipleoutletsockets,powerboards,oranextensionpowercable.
• Donotmodifythepowerplugprovidedwiththeappliance.Ifitdoes notfitthepoweroutlet,haveaproperoutletinstalledbyaqualified electrician.
• This appliance is equipped with power cord having an equipment earthing/grounding conductor (earthing pin) and grounding power plug. The power plug must be plugged into an appropriate outlet socket that is installed and earthed/grounded in accordance with all local codes and ordinances.
• Improperconnectionoftheequipment-groundingconductorcan resultinriskofelectricshock.Checkwithaqualifiedelectricianor servicepersonnelifyouareindoubtastowhethertheapplianceis properlygrounded.

Operation

• To avoid breaking the doorglass, donot pushtoohard on the door when closing.

• Donotapplyanysharpobjectstothecomcontrol panelinorderto operatetheappliance.
• Donotattempttoseparateanypanelsordisassembletheappliance.
• Donotrepairorreplaceanypartoftheappliance.Allrepairsand servicingmustbeperformedbyqualifiedservicepersonnelunless specificallyrecommendedinthisOwner'sManual.Useonly authorizedfactoryparts.
• Donotpushdownthedoorexcessively,whentheappliancedooris open.
• Donotputanimals, such as pets into the appliance.
• Donotwashrugs, mats, shoesorpetblankets, stuffed toys, or any other itemsotherthanclothesorsheets, in this machine.
• Keeptheareaunderneathandaroundtheappliancefreeof combustiblematerialssuchaslint,paper,rags,chemicals,etc.
• Donotleavetheappliancedooropen.Childrenmayhangonthedoor orcrawlinsidetheappliance,causingdamageorinjury.
• Donotputin, washordryarticlesthathavebeencleanedin, washed in, soakedin, orspotted with combustibleorexplosivesubstances (suchaswaxes, waxremovers, oil, paint, gasoline, degreasers, drycleaningsolvents, kerosene, petrol, spotremovers, turpentine, vegetable oil, cooking oil, acetone, alcohol, etc.). Improperusecan causefireorexplosion.
• Itemssuchasfoamrubber(latexfoam),showercaps,waterproof textiles,rubberbackedarticlesandclothesorpillowsfittedwithfoam rubberpadsshouldnotbedriedintheappliance.
• Donotuseorstoreflammableorcombustiblesubstances(ether, benzene, alcohol, chemical, LPG, combustiblespray, gasoline, thinner, petroleum, insecticide, airfreshener, cosmetics, etc.) near the appliance.
• Neverreachintotheappliancewhileitisoperating.Waituntilthe drumhascompletelystopped.

• Donottouchthedoorduringahightemperatureprogramme.

• Incaseofawaterleakfromtheapplianceorflood, disconnectthe powerplugandcontacttheLGElectronicscustomerinformation centre.

• Turnoffwatertapstorelievepressureonhosesandvalvesandto minimizeleakageifabreakorruptureshouldoccur.Checkthe conditionofthefillhoses;theyshouldbereplacedafter5years.
• If thereisagasleakage(isobutane,propane,naturalgas,etc.)within thehome,donottouchtheapplianceorpowerplugandventilatethe areaimmediately.
• Ifthedrainhoseorinlethoseisfrozenduringwinter,useitonlyafter thawing.
• Keepallwashingdetergents, softenerandbleachawayfrom children.
• Donottouchthepowerplugortheappliancecontrolswithwet hands.
• Donotbendthepowercableexcessivelyorplaceaheavyobjectonit.
• Avoidtouchinganywaterthatisdrainedfromtheapplianceduring thewash.
• Makesurethatdrainageisworkingproperly.Ifwaterisnotdrained properly,yourfloormaygetflooded.
• Whentheairtemperatureishighandthewatertemperatureislow, condensationmayoccurandthuswetthefloor.
• Wipeoffdirtordustonthecontactsofthepowerplug.

Maintenance

• Disconnect the appliance from the powers supply before cleaning the appliance. Setting the control to the OFF for standby position does not disconnect this appliance from the powers supply.
• Securelyplugthepowerplugintheoutletsocketaftercompletely removinganymoistureanddust.

• Donotspraywaterinsideoroutsidetheappliancetocleanit.

• Neverunplugtheappliancebypullingonthepowercable.Always gripthepowerplugfirmlyandpullstraightoutfromtheoutlet socket.

• OnlyqualifiedservicepersonnelfromLGElectronicsservicecentre shoulddisassemble,repair,ormodifytheappliance.ContactanLG Electronicscustomerinformationcentreifyoumoveandinstallthe applianceinadifferentlocation.

Disposal

• Before discarding an old appliance, unplugit. Cutoff the cable directly behind the appliance to prevent misuse.
• Disposeofallpackagingmaterials(suchasplasticbagsand styrofoam)awayfromchildren.Thepackagingmaterialscancause suffocation.
• Removethedoorbeforedisposingofordiscardingthisapplianceto avoidthedangerofchildrenorsmallanimalsgettingtrappedinside.
