Burner Continuous flame button Stainless steel handle Stand base from synthetic material Gas valve (remove stand base to access) Adjustable gas dial Ignition button Safety switch (child resistant latch)5. Application
The gas reservoir of the appliance is empty on delivery. Read the section “Filling / refilling the gas tank” for this purpose.
Grip the stainless steel handle with one hand ensuring that the burner is pointed away from the body. Release the safety switch by pressing to the left until you hear it lock into its operating position. Press and hold pressed the ignition button to light the flame.
When the ignition button is released the flow of gas is stopped and the flame extinguished. The child protection system is active again once it has sprung to the right on its own.
In case the appliance fails to ignite upon first attempt, repeat the process from the start.
The gas contained in the reservoir of the flambé burner should never be completely used up. The appliance should be re-filled as soon as a reduction in the size of the flame is noticeable. Do not try to use up all the contents of the gas reservoir.

Each time after use, ensure that the flame is completely extinguished.
Continuous operation
Should it be necessary to keep the flambé burner switched on continuously, put the switch for continuous operation into the "HOLD" position while the flame is burning. The flame now keeps burning continuously. To switch the device off, slide the sliding switch to the left into the "OFF position" again. This will cut the gas flow and the flame will go out.
Gas adjustment dial
For regulating flame size, a gas adjustment dial is located on the right side of the ignition button. The flame can be controlled by shifting the dial to the right or left.

6. Cleaning
The flambé burner should only be wiped clean using a dry cloth. If desired a drop of glass cleaner may be used on the cloth. Never spray detergents, water or any other liquid onto apertures of the flambé burner. The Flambé burner should never be immersed in water or put into a dishwasher as such handling would result in damage and possibly non-functionality.
7. Filling / Refilling the gas tank
When the gas level in the flambé burner reservoir is low it can be refilled in a simple way. A standard refill cartridge containing lighter gas is required. This can be purchased at any retail store for household goods. We recommend RÖSLE Cartridge (item No. 91275).

Please carefully observe the safety instructions stated on the refill cartridge.

The flambé burner should never be lit directly after refilling since gas may have escaped during refilling and could ignite, leading to burns and injury.

When refilling please observe a safe distance to sparks or naked flames.
Remove the synthetic material stand base of the appliance from its position below the handle.
The gas valve is located centrally positioned.

Illustration showing a hand holding a cylindrical object with a circular base, and two arrows pointing downward (no text or symbols)Remove the lid of the refill cartridge and remove any adaptor ring and adaptors present. Adaptors are not usually necessary for refilling the RÖSLE flambé burner. If by chance the nozzle of the refill cartridge does not fit the gas valve of the burner, select the appropriate adaptor ring.
Hold the appliance with the burner pointing down and away from the body.
Without applying pressure, position the nozzle of the refill cartridge on the gas valve.
Press the refill cartridge a few millimeters into the gas valve of the flambé burner. A light sound of hissing will be heard as the flambé burner reservoir is being filled. The gas tank of the flambé burner will be filled now.
Spurts of liquid gas emitted during refilling indicate that the adaptor ring is inappropriate or that the reservoir is already full.
After a maximum of 10 seconds, interrupt the refilling and pause for a few seconds.
Repeat the process as described earlier for a further 10 seconds. The reservoir of the flambé burner is now full.
After filling the tank, the flambé burner should be kept in a vertical position for 2 minutes to allow for the filled up gas to warm up and the escaped gas to dissipate. Do not touch the ignition button during this period as time must lapse to render the instrument fit and safe for use.

The flambé burner should never be lit directly after refilling since gas may have escaped during refilling and could ignite, leading to burns and injury.
It is important to return the stand base to its position below the handle after refilling as it acts as a shield preventing dirt from entering the gas valve.
