How to turn on the HIPPO 30.2034 thermometer?

Firmly tap the thermometer on the palm of your hands. The device turns on automatically thanks to a shock sensor.

What do the HOT and COLD alerts mean?

The HOT alert appears if the temperature exceeds 39°C, and the LED flashes red. The COLD alert appears if the temperature drops below 32°C.

How to change the thermometer battery?

Use a pointed object to press the release button, then turn the cover to the left (OPEN direction) using a coin. Insert a CR2032 battery with the + polarity facing up, then close by turning to the right (CLOSE) until the button clicks.

How to clean the thermometer?

Is the thermometer waterproof?

- Batteries may be hazardous if swallowed. If a battery is swallowed, this can lead to serious internal burns and death within two hours.

If you suspect a battery could have been swallowed or otherwise caught in the body, seek medical help immediately.

• Batteries must not be thrown into a fire, short-circuited, taken apart or recharged. Risk of explosion!
• Batteries contain harmful acids. Low batteries should be changed as soon as possible to prevent damage caused by leaking.
• Remove the battery if you do not use the device for a long period of time. Avoid contact with skin, eyes and mucous membranes when handling leaking batteries. In case of contact, immediately rinse the affected areas with water and consult a doctor.

6. Getting started

• The device has an activation sensor. Tap the bath thermometer firmly on your palm to switch it on.
  The device displays the ambient temperature.
• To check the temperature of the bath water, place the bath thermometer in the water.
  The device will turn off automatically after approx. 60 minutes.

7. Temperature alarm

• The most comfortable bathing temperature for small children is 36 - 37^

• If the water temperature rises above 39^ , HOT appears on the display and the LED signal light flashes red.
• If the water temperature drops below 32^ , COLD appears on the display

8. Battery replacement (Fig. 4)

• Change the battery when the display becomes weak.
• To open and close the battery compartment, the release button must be pressed down firmly with a pointed object.
• Open the battery compartment by turning the lid to the left (in the arrow direction OPEN) using a coin and insert one new CR2032 battery (+pole above).
• Close the battery compartment by turning the lid to the right (in the arrow direction CLOSE).
  The lid is correctly closed when the release button is locked in place.
  Note:

The instrument must be switched off before changing the battery.

• Attention:

Close the battery compartment carefully, so that no water can get in. Pay attention to the sealing ring.
