USER MANUAL KCJR160 KITCHENAID
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed, including the following:
- WARNING: Read all safety warnings and instructions. Failure to follow the warnings and instructions may result in fire a serious injury.

GETTING STARTED
BEFORE FIRST USE
- Charge the Battery until it is fully charged.
- Clean all the parts and accessories (see "Care and Cleaning" section).
- Remove all packaging materials, if present.
NOTE: Some dust may be on the product. This is due to the recycled materials used packaging. This can be cleaned with a soft towel.
BATTERY CHARGING
USING THE USB CABLE
- Attach the USB Cable to the adapter. Connect the other end of the USB Cable to Battery.
- Plug the adapter into a power source.
USING THE DOCKING STATION (OPTIONAL)
- Attach the USB cord to the adapter.
- Plug the adapter into a power source.
- Turn the Battery upside down and slide the Battery onto the dock.
- Press down and the latch will snap into place.
- Upon placing the Battery into the charger, the Battery LEDs will alternate for a few seconds as the charger performs a self-diagnostic of the Battery status.
- After diagnostic is complete, the Battery will begin charging with a single LED flashing.
LEDs will become solid as charging progresses. When Battery is fully charged, all L will become solid.
NOTE: If initial alternating light pattern continues for more than 10 seconds, the Battery may be too warm or too cold to charge. Unplug Battery and allow it to stabilize to room temperature and try charging again. If Battery is still not charge after this, unplug Battery and contact customer service.

PRODUCT USAGE
PREPARING THE CITRUS JUICER FOR USE
Before using your Juicer for the first time, wipe clean the Juicer Base with a warm da Dry with a soft cloth. Wash Reamer, Sieve, Reservoir, and Shaft Cover in warm, sudsy (see “Care and Cleaning” section). Rinse parts and wipe dry. Be sure the countertop b the Juicer and surrounding areas are dry and clean.
IMPORTANT: When moving your Juicer, always support/lift from the Juicer Base. The E will disengage from the reservoir assembly if carried by the Reservoir only.

USING THE CITRUS JUICER
NOTE: Make sure the Battery is fully charged before use.

Ensure that the Juicer Base is sitting on a clean, dry surface. Insert the Shaft Cover over the shaft until it clicks. Then place the Reservoir on the Juicer Base.

Place and align the Sieve hub in the Reservoir until it is seated properly.
-
Place the Reamer on the top of the Sieve. Ensure proper assembly of all parts to spills.
NOTE: Always ensure the Reservoir is seated properly before using the Juicer.

Insert the Battery on the Battery slot located at the back of the appliance, making sure it is aligned. The LEDs will glow and display the Battery level for five seconds, then turn. NOTE: Do not place the Battery in an area of extreme heat or cold. It will work by normal room temperature.

Cut the citrus fruit into 2 identical horizontal halves. Place one half of the cut citrus fruit over the center of the Reamer so it aligns with the Reamer tip.

To operate, press the citrus fruit half down on the Reamer, ensuring that the spout is open for the juice to flow out or closed to collect juice in the Reservoir. Firmly hold the against the spinning Reamer and move the fruit in all directions to extract the juice juicing, lift the fruit half off of the Reamer. If the spout was closed, rotate the knot to transfer juice to a collection container.
NOTE: If desired, lift the citrus fruit half and press down again to reverse Reamer direction. This can be done multiple times to achieve maximum extraction.
- Once all juice has been extracted from the citrus half, remove it from the Reamer and the Juicer will automatically stop.
IMPORTANT: Do not try to remove the Reamer while the motor is still running. Do press down the Reamer during removal from base.
NOTE: Repeat steps several times for best juicing results.
- Remove the Battery before taking any parts off of the Juicer.
CARE AND CLEANING
CLEANING THE CITRUS JUICER AND ACCESSORIES
Clean the Juicer and accessories thoroughly after every use.
IMPORTANT: Allow the appliance to cool completely before putting on or taking off par before cleaning the appliance.
NOTE: To avoid damaging the Juicer, do not immerse the Juicer Base or Battery in w avoid scratching the Juicer, do not use abrasive cleansers or scouring pads.

To clean the Juicer Base: Remove the Battery from the Juicer before cleaning. Wipe clean the base with a warm, damp cloth and dry with a soft cloth.

To clean the spout, move the knob clockwise to the unlock position and pull.

LIMITED WARRANTY AND SERVICE
KITCHENAID® PRODUCT WARRANTY FOR THE 50 UNITED STATES, THE DISTRICT OF COLUMBIPUERTO RICO, AND CANADA
This limited warranty extends to the original purchaser and any succeeding owner for the product operated in the 50 United States, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, and Canada.
Length of Warranty: One Year Limited Warranty from date of delivery.

d) Replacement parts or repair labor costs for the product operated outside the 50 United States, District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, and Canada.
e) Damages, defects, or repairs caused by unauthorized servicers or use of non-genuine or third-party parts; however, use of unauthorized service providers or non-genuine or third-party parts will not void this warranty.
f) Cosmetic damage (e.g., scratches, dents, chips, and other damage to finishes), unless damage results from defects in materials and workmanship and is reported to KitchenAid within 30 days from date of delivery.
g) Discoloration, rust or oxidation of surfaces resulting from caustic or corrosive environments (e.g., high salt concentrations, high moisture or humidity or exposure to chemicals).
h) Products with original, factory-installed model/serial numbers removed, altered or not easily determined.
i) Incidental or consequential damages resulting from product failure.
