How to install the Pessac massage table?

Unpack the device and remove the protective film. Place the table on a flat, stable, dry surface, at least 80 cm from any wall or obstacle. Connect the remote control and power cord, then plug into a compatible power outlet (230 V~ / 50 Hz).

How to adjust the table height?

Use the provided remote control: press the Raise button to go up and the Lower button to go down. Height can be adjusted continuously within the indicated range (Pessac Grey: 470-900 mm, Valence Blue: 465-910 mm).

How to adjust the backrest tilt?

The backrest is adjusted manually using the adjustment bar located at the back of the backrest. The angle can be adjusted from 50° to 85°. Make sure no obstacle blocks the movement.

Is the footrest adjustable?

On the PHYSA VALENCE BLUE model, the footrest can be adjusted manually in the same way as the backrest, with an angle range from -26° to 48°. The PHYSA PESSAC GREY model does not have this function.

What is the maximum supported load?

The maximum load is 150 kg. Distribute the weight evenly on the table to avoid tipping. Do not sit on the ends.

Can I use the table outdoors or in a bathroom?

No. The table is designed for indoor use only. Avoid humid environments (max 85% humidity) and never immerse it in water. Keep the ambient temperature below 40 °C.

How to clean the massage table?

First unplug the device. Use a soft damp cloth with a non-caustic product. Do not use sharp objects, solvents, or oily substances. Do not spray water directly on the table.

Is there a risk of electric shock?

The table is protection class I and must be plugged into a grounded outlet. Never use the device with a damaged cable, wet hands, or in a humid environment. If in doubt, have it checked by an electrician.

Can I use the table continuously?

The electric motor operates in cycles: 2 minutes of operation maximum, followed by an 18-minute pause. Do not exceed these times to avoid overheating.

How to maintain the table in the long term?

Regularly check the tightness of screws and lubricate moving parts. Clean after each use. Store the table in a dry, cool place away from sunlight. Repairs must be carried out by a qualified professional using original parts.

To ensure long and reliable operation of the device, care should be taken to operate and maintain the device correctly in accordance with the instructions. The technical data and specifications contained in these instructions are up-to-date. The manufacturer reserves the right to make changes for the purpose of quality improvement.

2. Safe use

CAUTION! Read all safety warnings and all instructions. Failure to follow the warnings and instructions may result in electric shock, fire and/or serious injury or death.

The term "device" or "product" in the warnings and instructions refers to the massage table.

2.1. Electrical safety

a) The device plug must fit into the socket. Do not modify the plug in any way. Original plugs and matching sockets reduce the risk of electric shock.
b) Avoid touching earthed items such as tubes, radiators, heaters and refrigerators. There is an increased risk of electric shock if your body is earthed and touches the device exposed to direct rain, wet floor and humid environment. If water penetrates into the device, there is an increased risk of damage to the device and electric shock.
c) Do not touch the device with wet or damp hands.
d) Do not use the cable in a wrong way. Never use it to carry the device or to pull the plug out of the socket. Keep the cable away from heat sources, oil, sharp edges or moving parts. Damaged or tangled cables increase the risk of electric shock.
e) If you cannot avoid using the device in a wet environment, use a residual current device (RCD). Using an RCD reduces the risk of electric shock.
f) Do not use the device if the power cable is damaged or shows clear signs of wear. A damaged power cable should be replaced by a qualified electrician or the manufacturer's service.
g) To avoid electric shock, do not immerse the cable, plug or device itself in water or other liquid. Do not use the device on wet surfaces.
h) CAUTION – DANGER TO LIFE! When cleaning or using the device, never immerse it in water or other liquids.
i) Do not use the device in high humidity rooms or in a direct vicinity to a water tanks.

2.2. Safety in the work area

a) Keep the work area tidy and well lit. Disorder or poor lighting can lead to accidents. Be careful, watch what you are doing and use common sense when working with the device.
b) If in doubt as to whether the device is working properly, contact the manufacturer's service.
c) Repairs to the device may only be carried out by the manufacturer's service. Do not carry out repairs yourself!
d) In the event of fire or fire, use only powder or snow (CO2) extinguishers to extinguish fire in the device where there is voltage.
e) Check the condition of the safety stickers regularly. Replace them if they are illegible.
f) Keep these instructions for future reference. If the device is to be passed on to third parties, the instructions for use must be handed over together with the device.
g) Keep packaging parts and small assembly parts out of the reach of children.

2.3. Personal safety

a) Do not operate the device if you are tired, ill or under the influence of alcohol, drugs or medication which might impair your ability to operate the device.
b) The device is not intended to be used by persons (including children) with reduced mental, sensory or intellectual functions or lack of experience and/or knowledge, unless they are supervised by a person responsible for their safety or have been given instructions by them on how to operate the device.
c) The device may only be operated by persons who are physically fit, capable of handling the device and who have been adequately trained, who have read these instructions and have received training in health and safety.
d) Be careful and use common sense when operating the device. A short moment of distraction during operation may lead to serious personal injury.
e) The device is not a toy. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the device.

2.4. Safe use of the device

a) Do not overload the device. Use tools that are suitable for the given application. A correctly selected device ensures better and safer performance of work.
b) The device must be disconnected from the power supply before adjustment, cleaning and maintenance. This preventive measure reduces the risk of accidental activation.
c) Keep unused devices out of the reach of children and anyone not familiar with the device or these instructions. Devices are dangerous in the hands of inexperienced users.
d) Keep the device in good working order.
e) Keep the device out of the reach of children.
f) Repair and maintenance of the device should be carried out by qualified persons using only original spare parts. This will ensure a safe use of the device.
g) To ensure the designed operational integrity of the device, do not remove factory-installed covers or loosen any screws.

h) When transporting and moving the device from the place of storage to the place of use, follow the health and safety regulations for manual transport that apply in the country in which the device is used.
i) Avoid situations where the device stops under heavy load during operation. This can cause overheating of the drive elements and subsequent damage to the device.
j) Clean the device regularly to prevent the permanent accumulation of dirt.
k) The device is not a toy. Cleaning and maintenance must not be performed by children without adult supervision.
I) It is forbidden to tamper with the device in order to change its parameters or construction.
m) Keep the device away from sources of fire and heat, direct sunlight and moisture.
n) Exceeding the maximum permissible user weight may cause damage to the product.
o) Do not sit at the end of the table. This may cause the product to fall over.
p) The weight must be distributed evenly on the table to avoid it tipping over.
q) Do not stand on the table.
r) Check from time to time that the screws have not come loose. Tighten if necessary.
s) Regularly lubricate the moving parts of the device which are used to adjust the position.
t) The device should be set up at least 80 cm from the nearest wall or other obstruction to ensure free movement around the device.
u) Do not use the device to store other objects on it.
v) Do not apply mechanical pressure to the device.
w) Do not obstruct the footrest or backrest during adjustment.
x) The devices have motors that should run for 2 minutes, after which the device needs an 18 minute break.

CAUTION!

Although the device has been designed to be safe and has been equipped with adequate safeguards, and despite the use of additional safety measures, there is still a small risk of accident or injury when operating the device. Caution and common sense are advised when using the device.

3. Rules of use

The massage table is intended for use during massage treatments.

The user is responsible for any damage caused by improper use.

3.2. Preparation for work

LOCATION OF THE DEVICE

The ambient temperature should not exceed 40^ C and the relative humidity should not exceed 85%. Keep the device away from any hot surfaces. Always operate the device on a level, stable, clean, fireproof and dry surface and out of the reach of children and persons with reduced mental, sensory and intellectual abilities. Position the device in such a way that the power supply plug can be reached at any time. Make sure that the device's power supply corresponds to the data on the rating plate!

3.3. Working with the device

3.3.1. Starting the device:

a) Unpack the device, remove the foil. Check that the device is not damaged.
b) Insert the end of the remote control cable into the socket on the device [1].
c) Insert the end of the power cord into the socket on the device [2].
d) Plug the plug of the power cord into an electrical outlet.

3.3.2. Adjusting the position of the device:

BACKREST ADJUSTMENT:

For both models, the backrest is adjusted manually via an adjustment rod at the back of the backrest.

In the case of the Physa Valence Blue model, it is possible to adjust the position of the footrest, which is done in the same way as the adjustment of the backrest position.

3.4. Cleaning and maintenance

a) Before cleaning and when the device is not in use, pull the power supply plug.

b) Use only non-corrosive agents for cleaning the surface.

c) Store the device in a dry and cool place protected from moisture and direct sunlight.

d) Do not spray the device with a stream of water and do not immerse it in water.

e) Regularly inspect the device for technical failure and damage. If necessary, replace worn parts.

f) Use a soft, damp cloth for cleaning.

g) Do not use sharp and/or metal objects for cleaning (e.g. a wire brush or metal scraper) as these may damage the surface of the device.

h) Do not clean the device with oily substances.
