Operating and Safety Instructions FOR INDOOR HOUSEHOLD USE ONLY

When using this or any other electrical appliance, always follow these basic safety precautions especially when children are present.

READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE USE

⚠ WARNING-To reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, serious personal injury and property damage please note the following:

- This product is not intended for use by children. Keep the product out of reach of children and pets. Extra caution is necessary when using this appliance near children.

- Always ensure the product is unplugged from the electrical outlet and allowed to cool before assembling, disassembling, relocating, or cleaning it.

- Do not leave the product unattended while it is in use. Always unplug the product from the electrical outlet when not in use.

- Do not immerse the Base, Power Cord, or Plug of this product in or expose the Power Cord or Plug to water or other liquids.

- Do not use attachments not recommended or sold by the product manufacturer as a risk of fire, electrical shock, or serious personal injury may result.

- Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric burner, in a heated oven, or other heated surfaces.

- Use extreme caution when moving appliance that contains food, water, or other liquids.

- Use the product in a well-ventilated area. Keep at least 4-6 inches of space on all sides of the product to allow adequate air circulation.

- Use appliance on a table or flat surface. Keep the product away from curtains, wall coverings, clothing, dishtowels, or other flammable materials.

- Do not plug or unplug the product from the electrical outlet with a wet hand.

- This product is intended solely for non-commercial, non-industrial, household use in preparing food for human consumption; do not use the product outdoors or for any other purpose.

- Do not operate the product empty.

- Do not let cord hang over edge of table or counter where it may be tripped over or pulled.

- Do not allow cord to touch hot surfaces.

- Do not operate the product if it has a damaged or cut Power Cord or plug, if wires are exposed, if it malfunctions, if it is dropped or damaged, or if the Motor Housing is dropped in or exposed to water.

- This product has no user-serviceable parts. Do not attempt to examine or repair this product yourself. Please review the Warranty Policy on Page 9.

- Do not put any stress on the power cord where it connects to the product, as the power cord could fray and break.

• To avoid the risk of serious personal injury or damage to the product, keep hands, hair, other body parts, clothing, and utensils away from the grinding blades while operating the product. Avoid touching moving parts at all times.
• Check blade blades for presence of objects before using.
• Never plug the product into an electrical outlet unless it is completely assembled, and the Lid is securely in place.
• Before removing the Lid, unplug the product from the electrical outlet and make sure the grinding blades have completely stopped.
• Disconnect the plug (DO NOT pull the power plug from the electrical outlet).
• Unplug the product from the electrical outlet prior to putting on or removing parts.

SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS:

A short power supply cord is provided to reduce the risk of becoming entangled in or tripping over a longer cord. An extension cord is not recommended for use with this product, but if one must be used:

• The marked electrical rating must be at least as great as that of the product.
• Arrange the extension cord so that it will not drape over the countertop or tabletop where it can be tripped over or pulled.

WARNING: This product is equipped with a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other blade) to reduce the risk of electrical shock. This is a safety feature. The plug will fit into a polarized outlet only one way. If you are unable to insert the plug into the electrical outlet, try reversing the plug. If the plug still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician. Never use the plug with an extension cord unless you can fully insert the plug into the extension cord. Do not alter the plug. Do not attempt to defeat the safety purpose of the polarized plug.

BEFORE FIRST USE:

IMPORTANT: Before using your Coffee Grinder for the first time, thoroughly clean the Coffee Bean Cup, Grinder Lid, Main Device, Wet and Dry Grinding Cup Set (See Cleaning Section). Then dry all parts thoroughly.

How to use the Coffee Grinder:

WARNING: Avoid contact with moving parts.

DO NOT GRIND RAW GREEN COFFEE BEANS, THIS WILL BREAK THE GRINDER!

Attention: First use may cause a slight odor or small smoking upon heating, it is normal. This is a result of the heating element chemical reaction. It quickly goes away.

1. Place the dry grinding cup set or the wet grinding cup set on the motor base. Turn clockwise to lock it into position.

1. Using the coffee bean cup, weigh the coffee beans to be ground up to 75g max only.

1. Pour the weighed beans from the bean cup into the grinding cup set or the wet grinding cup set. Do not fill beyond the max line.

1. Put on the lid and then the coffee bean cup, covering the wet or dry grinding cup set.

1. Plug the product into a standard 120-volt electrical outlet.

1. The machine will start grinding when you press down the coffee bean cup. Releasing it will turn the grinding OFF.

Note: Grinding time should be about 15-30 seconds only every use.

However, the grinding time may vary depending on the quantity and quality of coffee beans.

After 15-30 seconds, if the grounded beans are still not up to your preference, press it for 2 seconds and then stop for 5 seconds. Run this process 3-5 times continuously (pulse mode).

If the blade stops rotating or the grounded coffee beans get stuck, stop the grinding process, and unplug the machine from the power supply. Pour out the

contents into a separate container and check the blade assembly to ensure nothing is stuck. Reload the coffee beans and run the machine as per operating instructions 1-6.

WARNING: DO NOT hold down the coffee bean cup for more than 30 seconds to avoid overheating. Let it cool down for three (3) minutes or more after every batch.

1. Grind until beans are ground to the desired texture and serving volume has been completed. Unplug the machine from the power supply.
2. Remove the coffee bean cup, hold the grinding machine's base, and turn the grinding cup set or the wet grinding cup set counterclockwise to unlock it.

1. Remove the lid and pour the ground ingredients into a prepared container. If there is bean or grounds sticking to the blade or to the bottom of the grinding cup, clean it with the brush provided together with this machine.

1. Measure desired coffee and brew.

Cleaning Your Coffee Grinder:

WARNING: Always unplug the product and allow it to cool before cleaning or storing.

WARNING: Avoid contact with moving parts.

NOTE: The dry and wet grinder cup sets are dishwasher safe.

1. Ensure that the appliance has been unplugged from the electrical outlet before cleaning.

2. Always clean the product immediately after each use.

3. Wash the lid and coffee bean cup in warm, soapy water; then rinse and dry thoroughly.

4. Wipe the body and interior of the motor base with a soft, damp cloth or paper towel. Then dry completely.

CAUTION: Do not immerse the motor base into water or other liquids.

1. Do not use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads to clean the product.
2. Store the product in a cool, dry place.
3. Store away from reach of children.
4. Never add any lubricating oil to the blade assembly of the steel grinding cup as the blade assembly is already lubricated.

Troubleshooting Guide:

Dry Grinding Guide: (Use the 2 blades grinding set)

Reminder:

1. For oil rich legumes such as peanuts, walnuts, almonds, soybeans, etc., it is best to fry or roast them before grinding.
2. Do not operate for longer than the recommended grinding time in the table above.
3. After grinding spices such as pepper, please clean them immediately with a clean brush and slightly damp towel to avoid flavor infusion.
4. The maximum amount of grinding per time means that the weight of food grinded per batch must not exceed 75 grams.

Wet Grinding Guide: (Use the 4 blades grinding set)

Reminder:

1. Only use cold or room temperature drinking water for the wet ingredients' formulation.
2. For fine tuning the food formulation according to your preference, you may adjust the proportion of ingredients, but never reduce the water ratio.
3. When adjusting ingredients proportions, overall weight must not exceed 75 grams.
4. For wet grinding, every use must not exceed 30 seconds. Let the grinder rest for 3 minutes after use.

WARNING: For wet grinding, turn OFF the grinder after 3 intervals/batches to avoid overheating.

This product is warranted to be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of one (1) year from the date of original purchase. During this period, your exclusive remedy is repair or replacement of this product, at our option; however, you are responsible for all costs associated with returning the product to us and our returning a product or component under this warranty to you. If the product or component is no longer available, we will replace it with a similar one of equal or greater value. This warranty does not cover glass, filters, wear from normal use, use not in conformity with the printed directions, or damage to the product resulting from accident, alteration, abuse, or misuse.

THIS WARRANTY EXTENDS ONLY TO THE ORIGINAL CONSUMER PURCHASER. KEEP THE ORIGINAL SALES RECEIPT, AS PROOF OF PURCHASE IS REQUIRED TO MAKE A WARRANTY CLAIM.

This warranty is void if the product is used for other than single-family household use or subjected to any voltage and waveform other than what is specified on the rating label (E.G., 120V\~60Hz). We exclude all claims for special, incidental, and consequential damages caused by breach of express or implied warranty. All liability is limited to the amount of the purchase price. Every implied warranty, including any statutory warranty or condition of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, is disclaimed except to the extent prohibited by law, in which case such warranty or condition is limited to the duration of this written warranty.
