- Remember that, if you follow the instructions and warnings in this manual, as well as the traffic rules in your area, you will reduce the risks, but you will not completely prevent them.
- Remember that the higher the speed, the greater the braking distance. Remember that hard braking can cause slips and falls.
- Keep a safe distance with other people and vehicles. Respect pedestrians and give them way whenever possible. When you come closer to a pedestrian, reduce the speed, and stay on the right side. Avoid frightening or surprising pedestrians. Overtake other vehicles on the left whenever possible (applicable to countries where vehicles drive on the right).
- Wear protective equipment, like a helmet and elbow/knee pads to avoid or reduce injuries in case of accidents or falls. You must use footwear.
- We recommend you practice with the footbike before riding it in public areas.
- Make sure both you and the people using the footbike read and understand these instructions completely. Do not allow anyone to use the footbike if they are not familiar with how it works.
- Avoid jumping over obstacles such as kerbs, steps,
or manholes with the footbike. Match the speed and trajectory to those of a pedestrian to cross these obstacles. It is recommended to get off the footbike when these obstacles become dangerous due to their height, shape, or slipperiness.
- Make sure the wheels are not damaged and all parts and components of the footbike are correctly installed before each use. If you notice any of the parts is loose, hear strange noises, or the footbike does not work correctly, stop using it immediately and contact the Cecotec official Technical Support Service.
- Do not use the footbike in a manner that could damage other objects or other people.
- It is not allowed to modify the footbike in any manner, as this could alter its performance or damage its structure and cause damage or injury. Do not use any accessories or parts not approved by the manufacturer. Do not modify or tamper with the footbike, including the steering tube and sleeve, power, folding mechanism, and/or braking system. Any unauthorised change will void the device warranty.
- To prevent the footbike from being damaged or causing an accident, do not use it under the rain.
- The footbike is not intended to be used by children from 0 to 14 years old. It can be used by children over the age of 16, as long as they are given continuous supervision. Check the current local regulations.
- This device can be used by children aged 16 and above, and persons with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge, as long as they have been given supervision or instruction concerning the use of the device in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Do not allow children to play with
the device.
- Supervise children to prevent them from playing with the device. Close supervision is necessary when the footbike is being used by or near children.
- Do not modify the braking system to avoid affecting the safety of the device.
- Make sure that the mains voltage matches the voltage stated on the device marking and that the wall outlet is earthed before charging the device.
- Check the charger cable and casing regularly for visible damage. Do not use the footbike if the charger cable, socket, or structure are damaged, do not work properly, or have fallen, and contact the official Cecotec Technical Support Service immediately. If the power cable is damaged, it must be replaced with a special cable or set to be supplied by the official Cecotec Technical Support Service. The power cable is to be properly discarded.
- When you wish to disconnect the charger, pull from the plug, never the cable. Do not handle the plug or the footbike with wet hands.
- Remember that changing wheels is a complicated process, and it is advisable to let authorised personnel or the official Cecotec Technical Support Service take care of it. Damages caused by misuse will void the guarantee.
- Check wheel pressure before every use. Remember that a low pressure may reduce the battery life.
- Use this footbike only with the power supply provided and with original Cecotec batteries compatible with this model.
- WARNING: to recharge the battery, use only the power supply unit provided with the appliance, reference XHK-982-54620.
- Non-rechargeable batteries should not be recharged.
- We recommend you charge the battery after every use and before it completely runs out of battery.

the axle in the threaded surface.
Charging the footbike
- Turn off the footbike.
- Remove the protective cover and connect the charger to the charging port (on the bottom left side of the footbike).
- Refit the protective cover.
Brake adjustment
If you feel that the brake is too tight or too loose, first loosen the screw with the M4 hexagon socket spanner, then adjust the brake cable (pull the brake cable upwards if it is too tight and downwards if it is too loose) and tighten the screw. In case of mechanical brakes, follow the same method of adjustment.
Adjusting the handlebar
If the mast vibrates while driving, tighten the bolt with the hexagon socket spanner.
Inflating the tyres
If you notice that one or both tyres are underinflated, use an extendable inflator to inflate them. Unscrew the cap on the inflatable nozzle, connect the extendable inflator and inflate the tyres. For 07112_Trotón model the maximum tyre pressure is 2.2 bar or 32 psi. For 7113_Trotón Fat and 07114_Trotón Boing Fat models the maximum tyre pressure is 1.4 bar or 22 psi.

6. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Cleaning and maintenance of the footbike
If there are any stains on the surface of the footbike, use a soft, damp cloth to clean it.
Tips
- Make sure the footbike is switched off before cleaning. Never use alcohol, petrol, paraffin, corrosive, or abrasive products to clean the footbike. Make sure the charger cable is disconnected from the footbike and the charging door cover is securely in place before cleaning to avoid electric shock or damage.
- When not in use, it is preferable to store the footbike in a dry place and away from direct sunlight; try not to store it outdoors. Exposure to sunlight, overheating and overcooling will accelerate the wear and tear of the footbike and wheels, and they will reduce battery life.
Battery maintenance
- Do not use batteries of other models or other brands in order not to compromise the safety of the product.
- Do not touch the battery contacts and do not modify or damage the battery. Avoid contact between the battery and metal objects to prevent battery damage or serious damage.
- Only use the original charger to avoid risk of damage or fire.
- Incorrect disposal of the battery can seriously pollute the environment. When disposing of the battery, strictly observe local regulations. Do not dispose of the battery before the
ENGLISH
end of its life span to protect the environment.
- Charge the battery after each use and before storing the footbike to extend its life span.
- Do not expose the battery to temperatures above 45 °C or below -10 °C.
- Disconnect the charger after charging is complete.
- Removing the battery is complicated and may alter the operation of the footbike: you can contact an authorised repair entity if the warranty is still valid. If the warranty has expired, you can contact a specialist workshop of your choice. You can also contact the Cecotec Customer Service Department.
- For proper removal of the battery for subsequent recycling, you must:
-
Remove the screws from the foot support area.
-
Removing the protective cover of the battery.
-
Disconnect the battery connector to the controller.
-
Removing the battery.
