Read these instructions thoroughly before using the device. Keep this instruction manual for future reference or new users.

• Ensure that the mains voltage matches the voltage specified on the device rating label and that the plug is earthed.
• This device is designed for domestic use only and is not intended for bars, restaurants, farmhouses, hotels, motels, and offices.
• If the device is to be used in a bathroom,

it must be unplugged from the wall socket after use, as the proximity to water could be a risk even with the device switched off.

- This device can be used by children aged 8 years and above and people with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning the use of the device in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children must not play with the device.

Cleaning and user maintenance should not be carried out by unsupervised children.

• This icon means that the device must not be used in a bathtub, shower, or any other water-filled tank.
• WARNING: do not use the device near bathtubs, showers, sinks, or other water-filled containers.
• As additional protection, it is recommended that a residual current device (RCD) having a rated operating

fault current not exceeding 30 mA be installed in the electrical circuit supplying the bathroom. Ask your installer for advice.

• Risk of burns. Keep the appliance out of the reach of children, especially during use and while it's cooling down.
• When the appliance is connected to the mains, do not leave it unattended.
• Always place the appliance with the bracket, if any, on a flat, stable, and heat-resistant surface.
• Do not immerse the cable, plug, or any

other non-removable part of the device in water or any other liquid or expose electrical connections to water. Make sure your hands are dry before handling the plug or switching on the device.

• Check the power cable regularly for visible damage. If the cable is damaged, it must be replaced by the official Cecotec Technical Support Service to avoid any danger.
• Ensure that the air inlets and outlets are not blocked.

• Turn off and unplug the device from the power supply immediately after use.

• Unplug the device immediately under the following circumstances: abnormal operation, needs cleaning, and/or after use.

• Do not insert metal objects through the air inlets to avoid electric shocks.
• Do not wind the cable around the device.
• Keep your face, neck, and scalp away from the device.
• Do not leave the device on any surface while in operation.
• Do not use the device to comb wigs, natural hair extensions, fake hair, or animal hair.

2. BEFORE USE

• This appliance is packaged in a way as to protect it during transport. Take the appliance out of its box and remove all packaging materials. You can keep the original box and other packaging elements in a safe place. This will help you prevent damage to the appliance when transporting it in the future. In case the original packaging is disposed of, make sure all packaging materials are recycled accordingly.
• Make sure all parts and components are included and in good conditions. If there is any piece missing or in bad conditions, contact the official Cecotec Technical Support Service immediately.

3. OPERATION

- To switch on the brush, connect it to the mains and then press the power button. The default temperature when the brush is switched on is 210 °C. You can select 5 temperatures: 130 °C, 150 °C, 170 °C, 190 °C or 210 °C (± 15 °C).

Note:

If you select a higher temperature, the brush will take a short time to heat up. On the contrary, if you select a lower temperature, it will take more time to cool down.

• In standby mode, the indicator light will be off, and the appliance will not heat up.
• The indicator light of the selected temperature will flash until being reached. Once the temperature has been reached, the indicator light will remain lit.
• Press the temperature button to change the temperature. Each press increases the temperature by one level. If you have already selected the maximum temperature (210 °C) and press the button again, then the selected temperature will be the minimum temperature (130 °C). In other words, the pressing cycle is as follows: 130 °C-150 °C-170 °C-190 °C -210 °C-130 °C.

Straighteing hair

1. Divide your hair into 4 cm strands.
2. Hold the appliance by the handle, always at a safe distance from skin and eyes. Use a mirror.

1. Begin at the roots and place the hair strands between the bristles of the hair straightening brush one at a time.
2. Move the hair straightening brush slowly from the roots through to the tips of your hair. Repeat until your hair is straightened as desired.
3. Once you have finished, switch off the device by pressing the power button and let the hair cool down.

Auto shutdown

The brush will automatically switch off if it is not used for 45 minutes.

4. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

- Unplug the device from the mains and let it cool down before cleaning it.

• Use a soft, slightly dampened cloth to clean the surface of the appliance.
• Do not immerse the device in water or other liquids.
• Do not use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads to clean the device.
• Do not twist, bend, pull, or damage the power cable.
• Clean dirt and hairs regularly.

6. DISPOSAL OF OLD ELECTRICAL AND ELECTRONIC APPLIANCES

This symbol indicates that, according to the applicable regulations, the product and/or batteries must be disposed of separately from household waste. When this product reaches the end of its shelf life, you should dispose of the cells/batteries/accumulators and take them to a collection point designated by the local authorities.
