1. SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

Read the enclosed safety warnings, the additional safety warnings and the instructions. Failure to follow the safety warnings and the instructions may result in electric shock, fire and/or serious injury. Save the safety warnings and the instructions for future reference.

Immediately remove the mains plug from the mains if the mains cable becomes damaged and during cleaning and maintenance.

Class II machine - Double insulation - You don't need any earthed plug.

GENERAL SAFETY WARNING

This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.

ADDITIONAL SAFETY WARNINGS FOR TOWER FAN

• Children should be kept away unless continuously supervised to ensure that they do not play with the tower fan.
• Children shall not plug in, position, operate, regulate and clean the appliance or perform user maintenance.
• The tower fan is not suitable for use outdoors in damp weather, in bathrooms or in other wet or

damp environments3.

• Do not move the tower fan when it is operating.
• Do not cover the tower fan.
• Do not use the tower fan in immediate surroundings of a bath, a shower or a swimming pool.
• If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.
• Make sure the tower fan is always under surveillance and keep children and animals away.
• When the tower fan is not used for a long time, unplug the tower fan form its means. Pull the plug straight out, never remove the plug by pulling the cord.
• Keep the tower fan far from curtain or places where the air inlet an easily be blocked.
• The power coupler is waterproof when not in use. In order to prevent possible electric shock or leakage current, never use the tower fan with wet hands or operate the tower fan when there is water on the power cord.
• Do not insert things to air outlets and inlets, in order to avoid damage.
• Do not use the appliance near explosive and combustible gas.
• Do no turnover the appliance. Unplug the power supply If it is toppled over and there have some water in the body. Dry the body before use.
• Clean the appliance with a lightly damp cloth. It can be cleaned with neutral detergents. Do not rinse with water.
• This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
• Ensure that the fan is switched off from the supply mains before removing the guard.

2. MACHINE INFORMATION

Intended use

The tower fan is intended for indoor, non-commercial, household use for cooling residential rooms. Do not use the product for any other purpose. The tower fan can be used in enclosed of open rooms in a free standing position. The tower fan may only be used completely mounted and standing vertically on a stable surface.

3. ASSEMBLING

Tower fan (Fig. D)

• Take the two parts of the base out of the packing box, and align the two holes in the base and connect. Well assembled into a base. (1)
• Remove the base nut from the fan. (2)
• Place the power cord in the assembled base slot, align the bottom of the fan with the center hole of the base and three screw head avoidance holes, install the base in the correct direction on the body.
• Tighten the nut. (3)

Note: When installing the base, place the fan upside down on the packaging foam or other soft surface for avoid scratching.

Remote control (Fig. E)

The remote control use one button cells, model No. CR2025 (3V). We recommend the use of Lithium type battery for longer use.

Note: Please follow battery disposal instruction on battery packaging, or contact your local councils for safely disposal of batteries.

4. OPERATION

Check the device for damage before use and only use in good working condition.

• Plug in the calbe to the mains power outlet. Product is in standby modus, power indicating light is on.

Function of the control panel (Fig B)

• Push the "ON/OFF" button (1) to working state, push it again to standby modus.

• Speed button (2): push to cycle between high, medium or low fan speed. The speed indicator (7) will show the setting.

• Oscillation button (5): Press the oscillation button to activate the tower fan to swing. The oscillate indicator (8) will light up. Press it again to deactivate.

• Wind button (3): Press Press the mode button to change between 3 modes ‘Natural Wind’, ‘Night mode’ and ‘Ordinary wind.
• Timer button (4): The timer can be set between 0 hour and 15 hours. The display will show the duration currently set. The timer indicator (10) will light up if it is active.
• After 60 seconds the display will automatically turn off.

Function of the remote control (Fig C)

• Push the "ON/OFF" button (1) to working state, push it again to standby modus.
• Speed button (2): push to cycle between high, medium or low fan speed.
• Oscillation button (5): Press the oscillation button to activate the heater to swing. The oscillate indicator (8 in Fig. B) will light up. Press it again to deactivate.
• Wind button (3): Press Press the mode button to change between 3 modes 'Natural Wind', Sleeping wind' and 'Ordinary wind.
• Timer button (4): The timer can be set between 0 hour and 15 hours. The display will show the duration currently set. Put the plug into the socket, products in standby, power indicating light is on.
• After 60 seconds the display will automatically turn off.

5. MAINTENANCE

Before cleaning and maintenance, always switch off the machine and remove the mains plug from the mains.

Always remove the plug from the socket when the device is not being used.

Clean with neutral detergent and soft cloth.

TROUBLESHOOTING

In case the tower fan does not work well, we give you subjoined some possible causes and their solutions.

Problem Possible cause Treatment
The tower fan does not operate, even when it is plugged in and the switch is turned on.	The plug is loose, bad connection.	Pull out the plug, check the connection of the plug and socket. Then connect again.
	No power in socket outlet.	Insert the plug in a proper socket.
Abnormal noise.	The appliance is not standing upright.	Put the tower fan on a level surface.

VONROC products are developed to the highest quality standards and are guaranteed free of defects in both materials and workmanship for the period lawfully stipulated starting from the date of original purchase. Should the product develop any failure during this period due to defective material and/or workmanship then contact VONROC directly.

The following circumstances are excluded from this guarantee:

• Repairs and or alterations have been made or attempted to the machine by unauthorized service centers;
• Normal wear and tear;
• The tool has been abused, misused or improperly maintained;
• Non-original spare parts have been used.

This constitutes the sole warranty made by company either expressed or implied. There are no other warranties expressed or implied which extend beyond the face hereof, herein, including the implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. In no event shall VONROC be liable for any incidental or consequential damages. The dealers remedies shall be limited to repair or replacement of nonconforming units or parts.
