1. Safety of use

WARNING
The surfaces of the device can become very hot!
Please use caution during use!
-INTENDED USE-
The device is designed for boiling water. The kettle is not intended for cooking liquids other than water. The device is intended only for indoor use in the house or apartment. Also for use in kitchen areas for the staff of shops, offices or other places of employment, on farms and by customers in hotels, motels, etc. The
product cannot be used for commercial purposes.
-IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS-
The device can be operated and cleaned by children over 8 years of age and people with limited mental or physical dispositions only when they are under the supervision of caregivers or after handing over the instructions for use of the device in a safe way, understanding the danger posed by the use of the device. The device is not a toy for children. Store the appliance, its accessories and packaging away from the children. Wires and foil packaging may wrap around the baby's neck or be swallowed, and can result in choking or suffocation. Disconnect the appliance from the power grid before cleaning or maintaining it. If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer's service center, service center representative or a qualified person.
-DO NOT RISK-
The device is intended for indoor use. Not suitable for outdoor use (terraces, balconies, etc.). Do not use the device in areas where the use of electrical equipment is prohibited and where it may cause interference or other hazards. Do not switch on or use the appliance near flammable materials. Do not place any flammable objects on the device - this may damage the device or even cause a fire. Do not lift or move the switched-on device. The appliance must not be used in conjunction with time-controlled switches or remote controls.
-SURROUNDINGS-
The device should be placed on flat surfaces - stone countertops, tables, etc. The device should be moved away from the walls, vertical surfaces of furniture and any materials that are not resistant to high temperature- the housing elements heat up quite strongly, and hot steam escapes from the spout.
Make sure that children under 8 years of age and pets are not left unattended in the vicinity of the operating device, because during operation, the internal and external surfaces of the device heat up strongly – there is a risk of burns, and the power cord may cause tripping, tipping over or other injuries.
-WATER AND OTHER LIQUIDS-
Do not expose the device and its base to water and other liquids- in particular, avoid flooding the connector in the base and device. This may adversely affect the operation and service life of electronic and electrical components. Avoid working in an environment with high humidity – steamed kitchens, bathrooms, as well as water droplets from other sources can cause moisture to appear in the housing of the device, and this can lead to damage to the device, and in extreme cases, electric shock.

WARNING! Residual heat remains on the surface of the heating element of the device even after use.

If the kettle is filled above the maximum level (1.7 l), uncontrolled escape of boiling water from the appliance may occur.

The kettle can only be used with a base included in the kit.

Before operating the device, make sure that your hands are not damp. The appliance should remain disconnected from the power supply.

Do not use too much force to close the lid. If it does not want to close, check if something is blocking it.

Ensure that the cable is routed in such a way that it cannot be damaged, cut, knocked down or pulled, which could cause damage to the device or to the user or bystanders. Place the appliance on a flat, horizontal and surface.

The device can only be connected to a mains socket equipped with a protective pin.

If you notice that the housing, base, cord, or power plug is damaged, do not turn on the device.

Only tap, filtered or spring water can be boiled in the kettle. Do not use mineral, medicinal, dirty water or any other liquids.

When water is boiling there is a hot water vapor released between the opening in the housing and the sides of the lid.

Be careful as the housing's surface heats up strongly. We recommend that you open and close the device using the plastic opening button.

Be careful that water does not enter the inside of the device housing! This is an electrical appliance and water can cause a short circuit that can go the appliance or cause an electric shock.

After removing the kettle from the base, it will cease all activities.

Lift the kettle only using the handle.

Do not keep water in the kettle for a long time – this may cause scale to build up. Unused water is best spilled.

Pour into the kettle the amount of water that will be equal to or higher than MIN (about 0.6l) but not higher than MAX (about 1.7l). Pouring too much may result in damage to the device. With a water volume of less than 0.5 l
(MIN on the scale), the kettle can automatically switch off to protect the appliance from overheating.

To save electricity, heat only the amount of water you need, but not less than the amount needed to achieve the MIN value on the scale (about 0.6l).

The boiling process can be interrupted at any time by pressing the switch button, and in extreme cases by lifting the kettle from the base or unplugging the power plug from the mains socket.
PREPARATION FOR THE FIRST USE
Remove the base from the package and unfold the power cord. Pass the cord through the hole in the base – this is to ensure stability of the base on the kettle. Set the base in a destination where there is no risk that the kettle can be knocked down or accessed by children and pets.
Make sure that there is no furniture or other materials in the vicinity of the kettle that are not resistant to water vapor and high temperature (hot water vapor). If all components are not visibly damaged, plug the power plug into the mains socket. The device is ready for use.
FILLING THE KETTLE WITH WATER
Open the cover with the cover opening button. Lift the kettle by the handle and pour the tap water or pour the filter water or the bottle water into the kettle standing on the kitchen countertop. Make sure that the water level does not exceed the maximum level marked on the product. Close the cover by pressing it with your hand from the top and position the kettle on the base so that the power socket fits into the connector in the base and the whole set is stable.
REMOVAL OF IMPURITIES AND PRESERVATIVES
Before the first proper boiling of water for use, remove from the inside of the device all dirt and preservatives that cover the inside of the kettle. This is important for health and maintaining the neutral taste of boiled water.
To clean the inside of the kettle before the first proper use, pour water to the maximum value marked MAX and boil. Discard the water.
Rinse the inside of the kettle with clean water.
After cooling down, wash the inside with dishwashing liquid and rinse thoroughly. Re-fill the kettle to full, boil the water and pour it out as well.
The kettle is ready for use.
WATER BOILING
Fill the kettle with clean water so that its level is within the limits marked on the scale - MIN (about 0.5l) and MAX (about 1.7l). The kettle offers several predefined temperature settings to which water is boiled:
White - 70°C
Green - 80°C
Oolong - 90°C
Boil - 100°C
It is also possible to manually set the temperatures in the range of 40-100°C with a 5°C step. Place the kettle on the base and select the temperature setting by touching the corresponding button or manually set the temperature by touching the + and - buttons. The water heating will start automatically. When the selected temperature is reached, the kettle will switch off

100 °C White Green Oolong Boil + - Warm ⓍIt is also possible to maintain the selected temperature. To use this function, press the Warm button after selecting the temperature settings. When the function is active, the Warm button will flash. Another press of the Warm button will disable the temperature maintenance.
When positioned on the base, the touch panel of the kettle is active for about a minute. After that time, it goes out. To activate it again, touch the button, which is also used to turn off the kettle if water is boiling in it.
5. Troubleshooting
In case of problems with the device, please refer to the following tips.
| The device does not switch on even when plugged into the power grid | Check that the plug or power cord is not damaged.Check the correct connection of the plug to the mains socket.Check that the electrical outlet is not damaged – select another one.Check that the kettle is properly seated on the base. |
| The water heats up for a long time | Check that the inside of the kettle is not covered with stone. The stone conducts heat poorly. |
| The kettle switches off too quickly | Check the amount of water in the kettle. Too little water may cause the sensor to actuate to prevent overheating of the product. |
| If the problem has not been resolved, please contact the manufacturer's ser | |
