Caring for dash ^™ snug
Unlike your children, your dash™ snug likes to stay clean.
- Fabrics can be sponge cleaned with warm water, using a mild natural soap.
- Do not submerse the dash ^TM snug, its fabric wall or steel frame in water.
- The dash ™ snug mattress may be hand washed in warm water with mild natural soap.
- Do not tumble dry.
- Line dry only.
- Do not use any solvents or bleach based products as these may harm the materials.
- Do not wring.
- Dry your dash ^TM snug thoroughly before storage. Store in a well ventilated space, away from direct sunlight which could damage or fade your snug's colourful coat.
WARNINGS
European safety standard states:
IMPORTANT: Read the instructions carefully before use and keep them for future reference. Your child's safety may be affected if you do not follow these instructions.
• This product is only suitable for a child who cannot sit up unaided. • Use only on firm ground which is horizontal, level and dry. • Do not use if any part is broken, torn or missing. • Do not let other children play unattended near the bassinet. • Use only replacement parts supplied or approved by the manufacturer.
- Be aware of the risk of open fire and other source of strong heat, such as electric bar heaters, gas fires, etc. in the near vicinity of bassinet. • The handles and the bottom of the carrycot should be inspected regularly for signs of
damage and wear. • Before lifting or carrying the bassinet, make sure the handle is in the correct use position. • The head of the child in the bassinet should never be lower than the body of the child. • Do not leave your child unattended. • Never use the bassinet on a stand. • Do not add another mattress on top of the mattress provided by the manufacturer – only use the mattress supplied by the manufacturer. • If present, carry handles must be left out of the bassinet when used on a stroller. • Check that the bassinet attachment devices are correctly engaged before use on a stroller. • The bassinet should be used for one child to a maximum weight of 9kg/20lbs.
WARNINGS
American safety standard states:
- NEVER leave child unattended. • Failure to follow these warnings and the instructions could result in serious injury or death. • FALL HAZARD – To help prevent falls, do not use the bassinet when the infant begins to push up on hands and knees or has reached manufacturer's
recommended maximum weight, whichever comes first.
- SUFFOCATION HAZARD – Infants can suffocate: In gaps between an extra pad and side of the bassinet. • NEVER add a mattress, pillow, comforter, or padding. •
Use ONLY the pad provided by the manufacturer. • To reduce the risk of SIDS, paediatricians recommend healthy infants be placed on their backs to sleep, unless otherwise advised by your physician. If a sheet is used with the pad, use only the one provided by the bassinet or cradle manufacturer or one specifically designed to fit the dimension of the bassinet or cradle mattress.
- Strings can cause strangulation! Do not places items with a string around a child's neck, such as hood strings or pacifier cords. Do not suspend strings over a bassinet or cradle or attach strings to toys. • The bassinet should be used for one child to a maximum weight of 9kg/20lbs.

Australia / New Zealand safety standard states:

- Follow the manufacturer's instructions. • DO NOT leave children unattended. • The bassinet should be used for one child to a maximum weight of 9kg/20lbs. • Do not use this bassinet once the child can sit up unaided. • This bassinet is compatible with the phil&teds dash.
