This switch is equipped with six Gigabit ports; four are PoE-enabled and two are Gigabit uplink ports. Each of the four PSE ports (Ports 1-4) can provide up to 30 watts (with total capacity of up to 60W); non-PoE devices only receive data. The product is compliant with 802.3af and IEEE 802.3at standards and can be powered either by the included adapter or via PoE. Cat5e/6/6a UTP/STP cables provide optimal performance; if a status LED doesn't indicate a link or activity, check the corresponding device for proper setup and operation.

LED Color Status Status Description
PWR Orange		Off No power is supplied to the switch.
		On Power is supplied via the AC adapter or the PD port.
Link/Act	Green	Off No network link is established.
		On A network link has been established.
		Flashing	A network link has been established and data packets are being sent and received.
PoE Orange		Off Port is not supplying power to a connected PoE device.
		On Port is supplying power to a connected PoE device.
		Flashing Abnormal power supply

Chassis Ground Column

Wire the grounding terminal to an earth grounding object to protect equipment from external electrical surges.

Power

Use the included power cord to connect the device to an AC outlet. Confirm that the PWR LED on the front panel is lit.

Placement & Setup

Desktop

Prior to use, it is recommended that the switch be placed/positioned: with a minimum of 25 mm (approx. 1") of clearance on the top and sides for adequate ventilation; away from sources of electrical noise: radios, transmitters, broadband amplifiers, etc.; within 100 m (approx. 328') of network devices it's to be connected to. Attach the rubber feet to the bottom of each corner of the switch to increase stability.

Wall Mounting

First, install screws (not included) into the wall at appropriate distances. Then, hang the unit on the screws and slide it into place so it is secure.

Setup

The switch can be powered via PoE (95W) or AC power:

• Connect Port 6 (PoE In / PD) to a PoE injector or PoE switch;
• Plug the included power cable into an AC outlet.

Basic Web-Based Browser Management

1 Open your Web browser.
2 Enter http:// and the IP address of the switch in the Address field. The default management IP address is 192.168.2.1.
3 Press Enter to display the login screen. In the Username field, enter admin; in the Password field, enter the serial number on the bottom of the switch. Click OK.
