What is the default IP address to access the management interface?

The default IP address is 192.168.2.1. Access it via your browser by entering http://192.168.2.1.

What are the default username and password?

The username is admin. The password is the serial number on the sticker on the bottom of the switch.

How to reset the switch to factory settings?

The manual does not describe a reset button. Use the web interface to restore factory defaults if available, or contact technical support.

What types of cables are recommended for optimal performance?

Use Cat5e, Cat6, Cat6a or Cat8.x UTP or STP cables. Both crossover and straight-through cables are supported thanks to Auto-MDI/MDI-X.

Can I use this switch to power IP cameras or WiFi access points?

Yes, ports 1 to 48 provide up to 30 W per port with PoE+ (IEEE 802.3at/af), compatible with most IP cameras, access points, and other PoE devices.

How to mount the switch in a rack?

Use the provided brackets and screws. Disconnect all cables, attach a bracket to each side of the switch, then screw the brackets into the rack. Reconnect cables after installation.

What does each LED on the front panel mean?

PWR LED (green): on = power present. SYS LED (orange): blinking = system running. Link LED (green): on = link established, blinking = activity. PoE LED (orange): on = device powered.

Why is the LED of a port not lighting up?

Check that the cable is properly connected, the remote device is powered on, and the cable is not faulty. Try a different port or cable.

Does the switch support SFP cables?

Yes, ports 49 to 54 are SFP ports for additional fiber or copper modules. They indicate status with a green LED (on = link, blinking = activity).

How to ground the switch?

Use the ground connector on the rear panel, next to the power input. Connect it to an object providing a direct earth connection (e.g., a ground outlet).

Placement

Prior to use, it is recommended that the switch be placed/positioned:

- on a level surface that can support the weight of the switch (and any other items that need to be considered);

- with a minimum of 25 mm (approx. 1") of clearance on the top and sides for adequate ventilation;

- away from sources of electrical noise: radios, transmitters, broadband amplifiers, etc.;

- where it cannot be affected by excessive moisture;

- within 100 m (approx. 328') of network devices (RJ45) it's to be connected to.

- Attach the rubber feet to the bottom of each corner of the switch to increase stability.

The switch includes brackets and screws for optional rack mounting.

1 Disconnect any cables from the switch.

2 Position a bracket over the mounting holes on one side of the switch and secure it in place with screws.

3 Repeat Step 2 on the other side of the switch.

4 Position the switch in the rack and screw the brackets to the rack.

5 Reconnect any cables.

- All ports on the switch support Auto-MDI/MDI-X functionality, so you can use straight or crossover UTP/STP cables to connect the RJ45 ports to PCs, routers, hubs, other switches, etc.

- Cat5e/6/6a/8.x UTP/STP cables provide optimal performance; if a status LED doesn't

indicate a link or activity, check the corresponding device for proper setup and operation.

- Ports 1 – 48 can provide power to a connected powered device (PoE+ output up to 30 watts on ports); all powered devices should comply with IEEE 802.3at/af.

Rear Panel

Chassis Ground Column

Located on the side of the power supply connector, a grounding terminal connector is used to provide proper grounding for your switch. It should be wired to an object that provides earth ground.

Power

Use the included power cable to connect the receptacle on the back of the switch to a power outlet. Then, turn the On/Off switch to On. WARNING: Avoid turning on the power switch before connecting the power cable, as it may cause a power surge that could damage the Switch.

Basic Web-Based Browser Management

1 Open your Web browser.
2 Enter http:// and the IP address of the switch in the Address field. The default management IP address is 192.168.2.1.
3 Press Enter to display the login screen. In the Username field, enter admin; in the Password field, enter the serial number on the bottom of the switch. Click OK.
