5. Start-up

Remove the device from the packaging and remove all packaging material.

Open the battery compartment by sliding it downwards in the direction of the arrow and insert 2x AAA batteries. Always ensure that the polarity of the contacts is correct.

The device is then ready for operation.

6. Switch on alarm

By default, the door or window alarm is switched off when it arrives in your parcel. Please switch it on before use.

7. Set the operating mode

You can choose between four operating modes, which you can switch between by briefly pressing the „Mode“ button. To indicate which „operating mode“ the door or window alarm is in, the device confirms operation with different times.

General alarm mode

When this mode is set, you will hear a single beep.

You can activate or deactivate the alarm by pressing the „Activate/deactivate“ button.

- Arming (activate): If the window or door is opened, the alarm will continue to sound and flash red for 1 minute, even if the window or door is closed again. The only way to switch off the alarm is to switch to disarming status.

- Disarm (deactivate): No sound is emitted, regardless of whether the doors or windows are open or closed.

Open door/window alarm mode

If this mode is set, you will hear two beeps.

The alarm sounds and flashes red when the window or door is opened, but stops when the window or door is closed again.

Entry alarm mode

When this mode is set, the alarm beeps three times.

The alarm sounds with a beep when the door or window is opened.

Reminder mode for open doors/windows

If this mode is set, you will hear four beeps.

The alarm sounds every 3 seconds when the window or door is opened, but stops when the window or door is closed again.

7. Replace batteries

If the alarm is significantly quieter than normal, please replace the batteries.

Open the battery compartment, remove the old batteries and dispose of them properly.

Then insert two new batteries into the device. Ensure that the polarity of the contacts is correct.

8. Before the installation

  1. Please remove the insulating strip from the battery compartment before use.
  2. The magnet and the main unit should be less than 1cm apart when closed.
  3. Do not install the alarm near magnetic parts that could accidentally trigger the alarm.
  4. The device is not waterproof! Use it for indoor use only.
  5. Please stick the main unit on a flat and clean surface. Please note that the adhesive strip will adhere poorly if the surface is dirty or uneven. Sunlight or water will also impair adhesion over a long period of time.

9. Installation

This alarm can be fitted to doors, windows and all other objects that can be opened and closed. Before installation, test whether the alarm is working properly and make sure that the door (window) and frame are at the correct distance to allow the sensor to be fitted.

  1. Use a clean, dry cloth to clean the area where you want to install the alarm system.
  2. Remove the adhesive tape from the alarm and the magnet.
  3. Stick the alarm to the desired location and press firmly for approx. 10 seconds to ensure that the device is securely attached.

Note: The magnet must be attached to the side of the alarm with the triangular symbol (alarm direction). The distance between the magnet and the main unit should be less than 1cm.

Never attempt to open the appliance to carry out repairs or modifications. Avoid contact with the mains voltage. Do not short-circuit the product. The device is not waterproof, please only use it in dry conditions. Protect it from high humidity, water and snow. Keep the device away from high temperatures.

Do not expose the device to sudden temperature changes or strong vibrations, as this could damage the electronic parts. Check the device for damage before use.
