3. Commissioning

Take the device out of the package and remove all the packaging material. In this timer, the 24 hours of a day are divided into 96 blue sliders which are circularly arranged on the front of the device for the time. You can set the time for which current should flow individually.

The outer ring represents the time of day in hours with the values 1-24 and is fixed to the sliders. Thus, the time indicated on the outer ring is associated with the adjacent slider.

Push one of the sliders into the timer and the current does not flow for the appropriate time. If a slider is at the outer position, the device is switched on for the corresponding time period.

After adjusting the time ranges as per your needs, it is necessary to set the current time of the day. Rotate the outer ring of the timer in a clockwise direction till the black arrow on the front of the product points to the value of the inner ring, which corresponds to the time of the day.

Then insert the timer into a properly installed socket and then connect the desired device whose power supply has to be controlled with the timer.

The timer is ready for use.

4. Important safety and usage instructions

• Do not connect in series.
• Disconnected only when the plug is removed.
• For use in protected outdoor areas.

The device is protected against contact with active or internal, moving parts with tools, wires etc. having a diameter more than 1mm (except openings for inserting the plug contacts). The timer is also protected against splashing water. But jets of water (e.g. water from a garden hose) should not be directed at the product! Operate the device either indoors or outdoors in a protected area such as under roof overhangs. Do not expose the product directly to rain! There is a risk of electric shock!

5 Warranty

1. The statutory warranty rights apply for products: For new items, the warranty period is two years from the date of delivery.
2. If the buyer is a merchant, the following applies by way of derogation from clause 1:

2.1. The quality of the goods is defined as agreed, only by the seller's own specifications and the product description of the manufacturer, but not any other kind of advertising, public promotions and statements by the manufacturer.

2.2. The buyer is obliged to check the goods immediately with utmost care for deviations of quality and quantity and report apparent defects promptly to the seller in writing. Timely dispatch of the notification of defects shall suffice for complying with the time limit. This also applies for concealed defects established later, from the time of their discovery. In case of violation of the obligation to inspect and notify, warranty claims cannot be asserted.

1. In case of defects, the seller may provide warranty either by repair or replacement.

Please note: As far as possible, the buyer is requested not to return the goods freight forward but as an insured package to the seller. The seller shall gladly pay the cost of postage in advance, if he has to bear the return charges. The buyer is also requested to avoid damage and contamination of the goods. Goods should be returned in their original packaging with all accessories and with all packaging components to the seller. If the buyer no longer has the original packaging, he should return the goods in a suitable package to avoid damage in transit.

Note: The procedures indicated above are not a prerequisite for effective exercise of your warranty claims. Your warranty claims and your right of cancellation remain unaffected hereby.

6. Safety instructions and disclaimer

Please do not try to open the device to carry out repairs or modifications by yourself. Avoid contact with the mains supply. The device is free of electrical current only when disconnected. Please do not short-circuit the product. Do not forget to disconnect the power cord when the appliance is not being used or during thunderstorms. Therefore, please use it only in dry surroundings. Protect it from high humidity, water and snow.

Never expose the appliance to high outside temperatures. Please do not expose the device to sudden changes in temperature or strong vibrations, as this could damage the electronic components.

Check the device for any damage before using it. The device should not be used if it has been subject to impact or has been damaged in any other way. Please follow the national regulations and restrictions. Do not use the device for purposes other than those described in this manual. This product is not a toy. Keep it out of the reach of children or mentally disabled persons. Any repair or modifications to the device, which is not carried out by the original supplier, will void any warranty and guarantee claims. The device should be used only by persons who have read and understood this user manual.

7. Disposal instructions

Electrical and electronic devices should not disposed with domestic waste according to the European WEEE directive. Their components have to be separately sent for recycling or disposal, because improper disposal of toxic and dangerous components may permanently damage the environment. According to the electrical and electronic equipment act (ElektroG), you are obliged (as a consumer) to return (free of charge) all electrical and electronic devices to the manufacturer, the point of sale, or public collection points at the end of their service life. The relevant local laws regulate the details in this regard. The symbol displayed on the product, in the user manual or/and on the packaging refers to these regulations.
