How to connect the HDMI splitter?

Connect the HDMI source to the splitter input, then the two screens to outputs 1 and 2. Plug the USB power cable into a 5 V source (e.g. a computer USB port or adapter). Make sure all devices are turned off before connecting.

Why does the image only appear on one screen?

Check the connections and power supply. The splitter sets the resolution based on the weakest device on output 2. If one screen does not display, try swapping cables or restarting the devices.

What is the maximum resolution supported by the splitter?

It supports a resolution of UHD (2160p) at 30 Hz. For lower resolutions, it automatically adapts to the lowest of the two connected screens.

Can I use HDMI cables longer than 5 m?

For UHD resolutions, it is not recommended to exceed a total cable length (input + output) of 5 m, otherwise image quality may degrade.

How to recycle the splitter at the end of its life?

Do not throw it away with household waste. In accordance with the WEEE directive, take it to a public collection point, your retailer, or the manufacturer. Registration number: DE 67896761.

What to do if the device does not work?

Check the USB power supply (5 V), the HDMI cables, and that the screens are on. If the problem persists, contact customer service. Do not open the device, as this will void the warranty.

Can I use an adapter to connect a non-HDMI source?

Yes, provided you use an appropriate adapter or converter (e.g. DisplayPort to HDMI). Make sure the source outputs a compatible HDMI signal.

3. Functions

Using this HDMI splitter, you can send the signal of an HDMI playback device simultaneously to two display devices (TV, monitor, projector). The splitter automatically detects the maximum resolutions of the display devices and selects the device with the lowest value.

4. Initial use

Take the device and the USB power cable out of the package and remove all packaging material. Turn off all the devices that you want to connect and then connect them to the splitter using an appropriate HDMI cable. The details of the different splitter ports are explained in the table below:

Then connect the USB power cable, for example, to a USB port on your computer or to a USB power adapter. Please ensure that you do not exceed the input voltage of 5V DC!

Note: Also note that the maximum resolution for HDMI output 2 (output) is defined. First, connect the device with the lower resolution to output 2.

After the power is disconnected, the splitter adopts the maximum settings of HDMI output 2. To ensure proper functioning, we advise you to connect the device with the lower setting (resolution) to HDMI output 2.

Note: For UHD resolutions, please note that the cable length should not exceed 5m, otherwise this can result in a loss of image quality. (HDMI Input + HDMI Output = Total Length)

5. Safety instructions and disclaimer

Never try to open the device to repair or make modifications. Avoid contact with the mains voltage. Do not short-circuit the product. The device is not approved for outdoor use. Therefore please use it only in dry surroundings. Protect it from high humidity, water and snow. Keep the device away from high temperatures.
