How to connect the HDMI switch?

Connect HDMI cables from sources (e.g., console, set-top box) to the inputs (IN1, IN2, IN3) and a cable from the output (OUT) to the TV. Connect the IR receiver to the IR jack. Insert the battery into the remote control. Turn on the devices.

Automatic switching does not work, what to do?

Check that the devices are turned on and that the switch receives power via the HDMI cable. Automatic switching detects when a source is turned on. If it does not work, use the manual button on the device or the remote control.

Can I use the switch without the remote control?

Yes, you can switch manually by pressing the button on top of the device. The remote control is optional but convenient.

The remote control does not work, how to fix?

Check that the CR2025 battery is correctly inserted and the protective tab has been removed. Ensure the IR receiver is plugged in and pointed toward the remote control. Replace the battery if necessary.

What resolutions are supported?

The switch supports resolutions up to 1080p (Full HD), as well as 1080i, 720p, 576p, 480p and their interlaced formats. It does not support 4K.

Does the switch require an external power supply?

No, the device is powered directly via the HDMI cable from the output (TV). No power adapter is required. Maximum consumption is 5 W.

How to clean the device?

Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the housing. Do not use chemicals or liquids. Disconnect cables before cleaning.

What to do if an HDMI input does not work?

Check that the HDMI cable is firmly connected and the source device is turned on. Try switching manually to the affected input. If the problem persists, test another cable or source.

3 Properties

The HDMI switch allows you to connect up to three devices to it. The switch detects when a connected device is turned on and automatically switches to the corresponding channel. Optionally, you can also use the remote control or the button on the top- to manually switch between the three channels.

4 Getting started

Take out the HDMI switcher and infra-red receiver from the packaging. Connect the connecting cable of the infra-red receiver to the connector marked "IR" on HDMI switcher.

Unpack then the remote control and remove the Safety Isolation strip projecting from the battery compartment on the back.

Turn off all the devices that you want to connect and then connect them with an appropriate HDMI cable to the switch.

Note: The top LED indicates the input 1, the centre LED to Input 2 and the lower LED on the Input 3.

5 Safety instructions and liability disclaimer

Never try to open the device to carry out repairs or conversions. Avoid contact with mains voltages. Do not short-circuit the product. The device is not certified for use in the open air; only use it in dry conditions. Protect it from high humidity, water and snow. Keep it away from high temperatures.
