- Please take the appliance out of the package and remove all the packaging material.
- Please clean the appliance using a soft cloth to remove any production residues.
Note: Some parts of the iron have been slightly greased, which is why the iron may release some steam when used for the first time. After some time the grease should evaporate and the iron should work as desired.
6. Temperature selection
- Check the ironing instructions on the garments to be ironed.
- Fabrics which have a kind of "Finish" (printed clothing) can be ironed at the lowest temperature.
- If the fabric contains several types of fibres, always select the applicable temperature when a product contains 60% polyester and 40% cotton, you should always select the temperature that corresponds to polyester. Do not use steam here.
-
First classify the garments to be ironed based on the most suitable ironing temperature: Wool with wool, cotton with cotton etc. Since the iron heats up as quickly as it cools, start ironing the garments that require the lowest temperature such as synthetic fibre articles. Keep the padding as smooth as possible.
-
Turn the temperature control knob till it points to the corresponding signal as follows:
-
Position for chemical fibres such as nylon and acetate
- Position for wool, silk or mixtures, silk or mixtures
●●● Position for cotton or linen (steam)
7. Initial use
- Disconnect the plug of the iron.
- Set the steam switch to dry ironing ().

- Fill the water tank through the filling hole below the water tank cap.
Note: If you have hard water, it is advisable to use only distilled or demineralised water. Also ensure that you do not use chemically softened water or scented water.
- Connect the iron to a properly installed socket.
- Adjust the desired temperature using the rotary temperature knob and wait until the status LED goes out, indicating that the selected temperature has been reached.
- Move the steam switch to the desired position. ( Dry ironing; = Steam ironing)
- If the ironing process is complete or you want to take a break from ironing, please place the iron in upright position on the stand.
- Disconnect the iron from the power supply. Drain the remaining water and allow the iron to cool down completely.

Note: Steam ironing is only possible if the maximum temperature displayed on the temperature control knob is selected. Otherwise, water can escape through the sole plate.
Emitting a blast of steam
A blast of steam provides additional steam to remove stubborn creases.
- Set the rotary temperature knob to "max" position (●●●). Wait until the status LED goes out.
- Move the iron to the desired position and press the steam button. Wait for a few seconds till the steam penetrates the fibre before pressing the button again.

Note: For the best steam quality, do not use more than three consecutive blasts of steam. The iron cools down if this function is used excessively. Make sure that the status light is off before pressing the steam blast.
8. Cleaning and Care
- Disconnect the plug before cleaning and allow the appliance to cool down.
- The appliance should not be treated with liquids or immersed in liquids.
- Wipe the appliance only with a dry lint-free cloth.
- To clean residues and oily substances from the sole plate, it is enough to rub the sole plate with a wool or fabric cloth, which is dipped in water mixed with a little vinegar.
