1 Safety
Please read the safety instructions carefully before first commissioning and observe the safety instructions to prevent damage due to misuse, improper operation, and improper environmental conditions. Keep them for later reference.
Check the device for damage after removing the packaging. Do not use the unit in case of suspected damage; instead, consult a specialist. The recyclable packaging material must not be stored in a place accessible to young children, but must be disposed of properly.
This appliance is only for the purpose for which it was explicitly developed. Any other use is regarded as improper and therefore dangerous. The supplier is not liable for damage to persons and / or property due to improper or incorrect use.
This appliance can be used by children aged 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they are supervised and have been given instruction concerning the use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the dangers involved. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be conducted by children without supervision. Please make sure to place the device on a suitable and waterproof surfaces, so that spilled liquids can not cause harm.
Repairs to electrical appliances must only be carried out by trained personnel. Improperly performed repairs and alterations to the equipment can have dangerous consequences for the user and any tampering will result in the warranty being rejected.
When using any electrical appliance, basic safety precautions should always be followed, including the following:
- To ensure familiarity with the controls, safety features and operation of your product, please read all instructions before using.
- Do not insert foreign objects into the intake or outlet grills.
- Disconnect the cord from the outlet before cleaning. The heater should never be used in conditions where it may be immersed or come in contact with water. Similarly do not plug in your heater if its surfaces are damp.

Do not use the appliance on the same socket or electric circuit as other electrical appliances so as to prevent the circuit from being overloaded, which may cause a fire. Please do not extend the power cord yourself or use a portable socket.

Unplug the heater by grasping plug and removing it from the outlet. NEVER PULL ON THE CORD.
- If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer's service agent or a similarly qualified person in order to avoid a hazard.
- Do not use in locations where the heater will be left unattended for long periods of time (for example several weeks in an unoccupied summer cottage).
- Do not use attachments not recommended and sold by Sonnenkönig distributor.
- Loose connections between the heater plug and the electrical outlet may cause the plug to overheat.
- Ensure no other appliances are plugged into the same circuit as your heater. A circuit overload could occur resulting in dimmed lights, blown fuses, tripped circuit breakers or a fire hazard.
- The heater is intended for indoor household use only.
- The heater must not be located immediately below a socket outlet.
- Warning: In order to avoid overheating, do not cover the heater.
- Do not use this heater in the immediate surroundings of a bath, shower or swimming pool
- DISPOSAL: Do not dispose of electrical appliances as unsorted municipal waste, use separate collection facilities. Contact your local council for information regarding the collection systems available. If electrical appliances are disposed of in landfills or dumps, hazardous substances can leak into the groundwater and get into the food chain, damaging your health and well-being.
- Children of less than 3 years should be kept away unless continuously supervised. Children aged from 3 years and less than 8 years shall only switch on/off the appliance provided that it has been placed or installed in its intended normal operating position and they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children aged from 3 years and less than 8 years must not plug in, regulate and clean the appliance or perform user maintenance.
- CAUTION — some parts of this product can become very hot and cause burns. Particular attention has to be given where children and vulnerable people are present.
Warning: in order to avoid overheating, do not cover the heater.

- Plug into any 220 V AC, 50 Hz source.
- Place the heater on the floor at least 1 metre away from the wall and any other objects such as furniture, curtains or plants.
- Set the on/off switch to ON. The appliance is now on standby.
- Press the + symbol to start the appliance. The appliance will start in cool fan mode with the pilot light for the fan illuminated.
- Press the + symbol again to increase the output power. The corresponding pilot light will then illuminate. Once the room reaches a comfortable temperature, press the - symbol to select a lower setting to reduce your electricity consumption and to prevent the room from becoming too warm.
- If you need to switch off the appliance, press the - symbol until all the pilot lights go out.
- If the appliance will not be used for a long time, please set the on/off switch to OFF
- The heater head can be manually adjusted to a comfortable position. The angle can be adjusted by up to 50^ . Do not touch the safety grill to avoid burns.
- Your heater is equipped with a safety device with a thermal cut-off that switches off the heater in the event of overheating or malfunction. It will reset while the temperature reduces to a normal level.
- If overheating or malfunctions continue, return the heater to an approved service agent for examination.
- The most common cause of overheating is deposits of dust or fluff entering the heater. Ensure these deposits are removed regularly by unplugging the unit and vacuuming the air vents and front grill.
4 Cleaning and maintenance
- Light accumulations of dust can be removed from the heater with a soft cloth. Wipe the exterior surfaces of the heater occasionally with a cloth moistened (not dripping wet) in a solution of mild detergent and water. Dry the housing thoroughly with a soft dry cloth before operating the heater.
- The fan motor is lubricated in the factory and will require no further lubrication.
- No other user maintenance is required or recommended. If servicing is required, send your heater to the nearest authorised service centre.
- Store the heater in a clean, dry place when not in use.
Note: portable electric heaters are designed for spot heating or as a supplementary heat source. They are not intended to be the main sources of heat during the seasons when heating is normally used.
Note: There may be traces of smoke or odour when the unit is operated for the first time. Do not be alarmed. This indicates that a drop of oil fell on the heating coil during the manufacturing process. It will quickly evaporate and should not re-occur.

5 Warranty / Disposal / Technical change
Warranty
The Products are controlled just before delivery. If despite a lack of your product, try trustfully your seller. Please bring your receipt, as this is to be submitted for each warranty. The guarantee period is 24 months from date of purchase.

Disposal
The device must be disposed of properly. The device can be distributed free of charge for disposal at each dealer.
Technical changes
We reserve the right to modify the price, the design and the technical features.
Please save the packaging materials of the unit.
