1 Safety Instructions

Please read the safety instructions carefully before first commissioning and observe the safety instructions to prevent damage due to misuse, improper operation, and improper environmental conditions. Keep them for later reference. Check the device for damage after removing the packaging. Do not use the unit in case of suspected damage; instead, consult a specialist. The recyclable packaging material must not be stored in a place accessible to young children, but must be disposed of properly. This appliance is only for the purpose for which it was explicitly developed. Any other use is regarded as improper and therefore dangerous. The supplier is not liable for damage to persons and / or property due to improper or incorrect use. This appliance can be used by children aged 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they are supervised and have been given instruction concerning the use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the dangers involved. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be conducted by children without supervision. Please make sure to place the device on a suitable and waterproof surfaces, so that spilled liquids can not cause harm. Repairs to electrical appliances must only be carried out by trained personnel. Improperly performed repairs and alterations to the equipment can have dangerous consequences for the user and any tampering will result in the warranty being rejected.

• PLEASE do not place this heater where children, the infirm or pets can reach it.
• Do not cover the heater when in use and make sure that there is at least 12 inches of clearance behind it so that the air intakes are not blocked.
• Never use the heater near a bath, shower or swimming pool.
• Ensure that no object of any kind is within two metres of the heater when it is in use.
• Never use the heater near any inflammable material. It must not be put near or in contact with any FUEL, OIL, GAS or EXPLOSIVES.
• Do not use it outdoors.
• Do not position it directly below a power socket.
  • Always position it on a flat horizontal surface.
• NEVER move or pick up the heater when it is turned on.
• Do not use the heater with a programmer or timing device that switches it on automatically. The use of such devices is dangerous and can cause a fire risk.

2 Operation

Plug the heater into the socket. Make sure there are no flammable materials within a two-metre radius.

0 OFF

II Full heat output (1500 Watt)

Thermostat:

The thermostat will only work on the stages I and II. Turn the thermostat clockwise to increase the heating power.

To use the fan function

• Turn the control dial to «FAN». The fan will blow air out at room temperature.
• If the fan does not operate, the ambient room temperature is cooler than the «OFF» level of the built-in thermostat. gradually turn the thermostat dial clockwise and the fan will start blowing.
• As soon as the fan starts, the light in the front of the machine will illuminate.

To use the machine for heating

• Turn the control dial to «I» for low heat or «II» for full heat.
• Set the heat level by gradually turning the thermostat dial clockwise for the lowest heat and fully clockwise for maximum heat.
• The thermostat will turn the machine off when the set room temperature is reached. When the temperature drops, it will turn on again automatically.
• For maximum heat output use «II» with the thermosat turned fully clockwise.

Overheating

• The thermostat will turn the machine off in case it overheats.
• Overheating can be caused by blocked air intakes on the back of the machine or a blocked grill on the front. If this occurs, please disconnect the machine and allow it to cool for 30 minutes. Clear the blockage and turn the machine back on.
• If the heater ceases to function, the most likely cause is a blown fuse. Simply replace the 13amp fuse in the plug and reconnect. If there is still no function please follow the repair advice above.

3 Cleaning and care

• There are no parts inside the machine that require your attention or servicing. Do not try to open the outer case. By doing so you could damage the motor and heating element and invalidate the warranty. If you have a problem with the heater, or if the power cord gets damaged in any way, you MUST take the unit to a suitably qualified engineer or electrical repair centre.
• Before cleaning the machine, please make sure it is disconnected from the power supply, and has cooled down completely.
• Never clean the machine with water and do not let it get wet under any circumstance.
• The outside case can be cleaned using a slightly damp, lint-free cloth (a small amount of detergent can be used if required).
• To remove any dust particles, etc. from inside the front grill, or the rear air intakes, you can use a regular vacuum cleaner.
  • Always make sure the machine is completely dry before using.
• If you are not going to use the heater for a while, it is best to make sure it is clean and dry and then store it inside a plastic bag in a cool and dry place.
• With proper care and attention, this heater will give you many years of good service and economical heating.
