Where is the CR2032 battery located in this alarm clock radio?
Frequently Asked Questions - 23/05/2026
Response Notice-Facile

The CR2032 battery is located on the back of the alarm clock radio, on the bottom side, in a dedicated compartment.

This 3V backup battery (model CR2032) keeps the time and alarm settings when the device is unplugged from its main 5V microUSB power supply. It is not included in the delivery and must be purchased separately.

Upon installation, check the correct polarity of the connections (+ and -) by consulting the diagram printed in the compartment. A new CR2032 battery is available in most electronics stores, pharmacies, and supermarkets for a few euros.

Why has the size of the projection become smaller, even though it is positioned in the same place?
Frequently Asked Questions - 19/05/2026
Response Notice-Facile

The Brandson 304474 alarm clock features a time projector that displays the time on a wall or ceiling. If the size of the projection has decreased despite being in the same position, here are the most likely explanations:

  • Distance from the projector - Even a slight movement of the device or surface reduces the projection size. Ensure that the positioning is exactly the same as before and that no object is obstructing the projector and the surface.
  • Dirty lens - The projector lens may have become covered with dust or residue. Gently clean it with a soft, dry cloth to restore the projection.
  • Reduced brightness - The LED screen has adjustable brightness. A reduction in the brightness setting may make the projection appear smaller or less sharp. Check and increase the brightness settings using the control buttons.
  • Backup battery - The CR2032 backup battery may be weak. Replacing it may improve the projector's performance.

The manual does not mention a zoom function or direct adjustment of the projection size - it therefore depends solely on the distance between the device and the surface.
