3 Functions

The wood moisture analyser allows you to determine the moisture level in an object made of wood. On the one hand, processing such as milling, machining, gluing, laminating, varnishing and painting can be carried out efficiently. On the other hand, the analysis reduces the risk of decomposition and rotting in order to prevent any damage. Thanks to the backlight that can be switched on and off, you can always see and read the value on the display easily.

5 Commissioning

Take the device out of the package and remove all the packaging material. Open the battery compartment on the back of the device and insert one 9V block battery (Type 6F22). Ensure that the polarity of the contacts is correct while inserting the batteries. Press the "POWER" button to switch on the power supply. The display of the device shows "00%". Remove the protective cap from the probe. Perform a test by carefully pressing (without applying too much force) on the outside of the probes. If the display shows a value of approximately 30%, then the device is working properly.

Caution!

The probes are very sharp! Ensure that you do not injure yourself!

After testing the device, insert the probe about 5mm into the piece of wood to be measured. Press the "HOLD" button to temporarily store the value that is shown on the display. Pressing once again stops the measurement. Press the "POWER" button to switch off the device.

Ensure that you replace the protective cap on the probes. Otherwise there is a risk of injury!

6 Additional information about this device

• The probes are very sharp. Ensure that children do not play with it!
• Keep the device dry and wipe it briefly after use to ensure long life.
• If the display shows that the battery level is low, please replace the 9V battery.
• Remove the batteries if you do not use the device for a long time!
• Do not point the probes at people or pets! There is a risk of injury!

7 Safety instructions and Disclaimer

Please do not try to open the device to carry out repairs or modifications by yourself. Avoid contact with the mains supply. The device does not carry current only when disconnected. Please do not short-circuit the product. Do not forget to disconnect the power cord when the device is not being used or during thunderstorms. The device is not approved for outdoor use. Therefore, please use it only in dry surroundings. Protect it from high humidity, water and snow. Do not expose the device to high temperatures.

Do not expose the device to sudden changes in temperature or strong vibrations, as this could damage the electronic components. Check the device for any damage before using it. The device should not be used if it has been subject to impact or has been damaged in any other way. Please also follow the national regulations and restrictions. Do not use the device for purposes other than those described in this manual. This product is not a toy. Keep it out of the reach of children or mentally disabled persons.

The device should only be used by those who have read and understood this user manual. The specifications of the device may be changed without special prior notice.

7. Disposal instructions
